Obama to hire a "Muslim liaison," who insists that "American women need to understand that what is best for them is not necessarily what is best for Muslim women"

Since American women consider freedom, equality, and independence to be "best for them," does that mean Muslim women don't, or rather, wouldn't, if given the chance? "Obama campaign hires Muslim liaison," from Politico, July 21:

Obama's campaign has created a Muslim liaison, according to two sources familiar with the move.

The sources said the job was likely to be filled by Haim Nawas, a Jordanian-American who filled a similar role for the campaign of General Wesley Clark in 2004.

The job is complicated by the fact that Obama has been forced repeatedly to deny that he is Muslim, a situation that grates on some Muslim-Americans.

Nawas wrote in 2005 that the Bush Administration should take a more nuanced approach to public diplomacy directed at Muslim women.

"We need to recognise that the social structure in the Muslim world is very different from America's," she wrote. "American women need to understand that what is best for them is not necessarily what is best for Muslim women. Advocacy of women’s rights in the Muslim world must show sensitivity to local political realities."

I think I'll take Wafa Sultan's words on this matter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_o7QnKAmUs

O.K.,

Let's try to get this right.

All you non-Muslim American women need to understand that what is best for you is not necessarily what is best for Muslim women in Muslim states, or for American Muslimahs. Advocacy of women’s rights in the Muslim world and cities like Detroit must show sensitivity to local political realities.

So all you American Muslimahs can just forget that Constitution crap.

"Advocacy of women’s rights in the Muslim world must show sensitivity to local political realities."

Translation: Freedom, independence and equal rights have no place in a Sharia ruled society where women are second class citizens.

Barbarism deserves no sensitivity but only absolute intolerance. And Islam is indeed a 'political' reality and not religious.

"Advocacy of women’s rights in the Muslim world must show sensitivity to local political realities."
-- from the article above, quoting someone who is apparently going to be part of the royal retinue of the Emperor Obama

Long demand, short reply: No.

A man is judged by the company he keeps. BO likes to keep a Muslim liaison -- so what does that tell you?

BTW, has the State of Hawaii ever produced a copy of his birth record?

Do they actually have such a record?

I keep coming up with conflicting information on such a basic yet easily verifiable document.

VOTE FOR "JEEBUS" whoever that is!

If we are to overlook the muslim 'social structures' then it is only equal that muslims overlook our 'social structures'.

So, muslims should have no problem understanding that Americans frequently travel with Bibles and try to convert muslims to Christianity, or that our women do not cover theirselves and will not do it in their country, or that women drive vehicles, or that our women can leave the house and talk with men in public.

If our women are to overlook muslim issues and allow them to go on here, then muslims and muslim women are to do the same in their home country.

Right?

"We need to recognise that the social structure in the Muslim world is very different from America's,"

We do.

"American women need to understand that what is best for them is not necessarily what is best for Muslim women. Advocacy of women’s rights in the Muslim world must show sensitivity to local political realities."

Members of the Muslim world have no business in the American realm if they cannot accept our rules on our turf. . . i.e. our political reality trumps your muslim political reality. Don't like it - get lost.

Oh I see, so muslim women would not want choice of who to marry, to get a job, to drive, to actually have their hair flow in the wind, to let the sun get to their skin to create vitamin D and not be so hot with their burka, to actually have rights equal to that of men....only American women want that.

Got it.

"We need to recognise that the social structure in the Muslim world is very different from America's."

Actually, I don't need to recognize anything of the sort. What American women do need to recognize is that we have unparalleled freedom in this country and we need to stand up, demand our rights and put our butts on the line to defend it. And we need to encourage the men in our lives to do the same.

Did you know that the ACT! for America Chapters across the U.S. now number 200 with 45,000 members working behind the scenes to undermine political Islam in our country? That's up from no chapters and no members less than one year ago. Get involved, especially you folks here who have been studying this stuff and can be a real asset to a chapter in your area. Go to http://www.actforamerica.org/

"The job is complicated by the fact that Obama has been forced repeatedly to deny that he is Muslim, a situation that grates on some Muslim-Americans."

Forced?? Really?? Did someone put a scimitar to his neck and make him deny he's a muslim?? Did he have to wear yellow clothing or mismatched shoes?

There is an ongoing investigation coming to the surface that is questioning as to whether Barack Hussein Obama was in fact born in the United states. Some experts studying his birth certificate are saying it is forgery. Has anyone heard these allegations before? Is seems that this could easily be put to rest since his mother was an American.

I hope American women do not become too accomodating. If that happens, then all the rights that they struggled to gain could slowly disappear if Islam becomes the dominent religion in this country.

Mackie,

Pamela Geller has information on Obama's FORGED birth certificate here:

If he's an American, why doesn't he have a real one?

Ahh yes the multicultural champion and golden child of liberals and terrorists everywhere shows his true colors.

This will be just a sampler though if he is elected.

As far as where he was born, we'll never know. The same way we'll never know if his mother married.

There is no state paperwork for either - none. And none of the people involved at the time are talking.

We're not even allowed to see his passport and where he traveled.

Obama is the closet thing to a real life manchurian candidate.

For somoene who says he is ABSOLUTELY NOT Muslim, he sure acts like one the way he defends them, meets with them (Oh! We're not supposed to know that one, right?), etc. He has even been known to hang with a terrorist (and not necessarially all muslim) or two, as we've been finding out.

This election is a set up. Absolutely NO ONE I talk to here in NY (or other states for that matter) wants Obama in, will vote for him or even voted for him in the primaries. However, here he is.

Samhein,

I'm with you, except that all the youngsters in my industry think he's just the cats pajamas. Well, thinking has nothing to do with it.

How did we get to this place, can we get our country back and how much blood will it take to do it?

"How did we get to this place, can we get our country back and how much blood will it take to do it?"

The answer is very simple. Forty years of relentless indoctrination by the government-academic-media complex. America and the West are evil oppressors. White people are always evil or fools and need some Black or other minority superhero to set them straight. All immigrants from whatever third culture, including Muslim, must be ushered into the country at a rate of a million and a half every year and we are never permitted to pause or slow down that influx; indeed we are supposed to provide amnesty for those who couldn't even be bothered to have proper documents.

How much blood will it take? I can only refer you to the great British statesman Enoch Powell who warned his countrymen 40 years ago about opening the floodgates. The word he used was "rivers".

Ahh -- the smell of appeasement.

In the interest of Truth, Justice, and the American Way, shouldn't the headline read:

"Obama hires Sharia Muslim advisor to help dispense the New Law"

?

I would like to have the proof that Barak Obama, is a "muslim in Christian clothing" - I personally believe that he is a muslim or holds Islam to be the true religion. I think he is deceptive and quite frankly a liar, but I can only find hints at the truth.

I believe that he sits in a Christian church to give the appearance that he has converted,(I'm not to sure about that church either it has racial overtones), and no one in the Muslim community voices a complaint because they want him in office to fullfill their end goal, the destruction of America.

Look, we all know that in Islam:
1) the religion of the father is the religion of the children. And that makes Obama a Muslim, but he says he has converted.
2) And that the "end justifies the means" - you can kill, steal, lie, cheat ect,(Just like Mohammed did) but it's ok if somehow it benefits Islam/Allah.

My family is arguing with me concerning this issue and I have tried to find the answer, anyone out there with the info please respond

I want the proof or something better than I have

Ahh -- the smell of appeasement.

You smell it to, eh John? Nothing quite like that diesel/excrement odor is there?

Yes, by Jove! Soon, all of America will turn to camel's urine as a universal cure-all and hair-restorer--this soft jihad could give rise to a profitible trade in Islamic health & beauty aids, I'll bet my miswaq, by Thunder!

Isabella

that's terrific news!

The rest of us in the other kafir lands are going to have to hurry up and get similar bodies up and running (if that hasn't happened already).

He's right. I'm sure FMG is deeply significant for all those little girls held down and attacked with scissors. How ethnocentric of me to ever think otherwise.
Is this guy for real?? (Rhetorical question--although it's hard to believe we've come to this point.)
