Chasing rainbows and making absurd concessions: all in a day's work for Ehud Olmert. "Olmert: Peace has never been closer," from The Associated Press, July 13 (thanks to all who sent this in):
PARIS - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert declared Sunday that Israel and the Palestinians have never been closer to making peace. To help build confidence between the two sides, Olmert agreed in a one-on-one meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to release an unspecified number of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, an Israeli official said.
Abbas, who met with Olmert at the French presidential palace ahead of a summit of European, Middle Eastern and African leaders, also sounded a positive note about the troubled peace talks, saying both sides were "serious and want to achieve peace." The two men met with French President Nicolas Sarkozy before sitting down together one-on-one.
"We have never been as close to a possible [peace] agreement as we are today," Olmert told reporters before the three leaders entered their meeting....
As a "gesture" to Abbas, Olmert "agreed in principle" to release some of the thousands of Palestinian prisoners it holds, Regev said.
Why does Abbas never have to make any "gesture" to Olmert?
And why are the Muslims saying 'they have never been closer to erasing Israel off the map'.
It does not sound to me as if the two parties are working for the same outcome.
I can't remember any muslims saying they want 'peace', the only thing they say is 'they don't want Israel or Jews', and they're actions are a piece of land at a time.
If you are at the table negotiating and the person that is sitting across from you does not want the comperable conclusion, what are you doing at the table?
Of course we all know that.
It is just a matter of time before some excuse is made on the slightest provocation, fabricated or not to end the hudna.
Olmert is either living in a fantasy world or he needs to check himself into a mental facility.
"We have never been as close to a possible [peace] agreement as we are today," Olmert told reporters before the three leaders entered their meeting...
I think it was the paleostinian rockets falling on Southern Israel that had me fooled.
So does this mean the U.S. can give Hamas a few hundred millions worth of weapons to help the peace again?
Olmert must be thinking about his next career move as a stand-up comedian. That's it, isn't it?
Yea, that's the ticket.
Why yes..it must be..." Peace in our time."
Arrest him now. Right now. Pull him in as soon as he returns from Paris. Don't let him do a fatal damage to state of Israel, with some cruel and stupid "deal" with the Slow Jihadists of Fatah or with the plausible Alawites of Syria. Don't let him do further damage to the people of Israel, who have been, and will have to continue to be, so steadfast and so brave and who, unlike Olmert and others in the ruling political and media elites of that country, are not corrupt, are not swine, and did nothing to deserve this.
Olmert is a sickening, repugnant, leftist fool, guilty of high treason for his role in the ethnic cleansing of the Jews from Gaza (and subsequent homelessness and starvation that many of them experienced in his "tent cities"), his cowardly surrender in the Hezballah war, his willingness to pardon the most violent, murderous terrorists from Israeli prisons as a "good will gesture" to the vermin, etc, etc.
Unbelievable that he still insists on trotting out this "peace deal" thing.
It ain't gonna happen, and we all know it.
You think Olmert is a fool? Wait till you see Obama in action - A fools fool. Count on it.
If you truly believe that Ehud, I've got a beautiful bridge for sale that you simply HAVE to see!
Seriously though, I almost think that Nancy Pelosi would do a better job of running Israel at this point. Almost.
I love reading hugh's articles, but this comment of his: 'arrest him as soon as he returns from Paris...", I just swoom when I hear such obvious common sense.
Olmert is a man who is a left-liberal, stand for nothing guy... he leads the pack of those who made a party, Kadima- that literally, stands for nothing, and is having a fire sale of Israel, their lands, and all for the power of their corrupt rule. They want to be the beloved step child of the europeans and be the cafe tech society that they think, will give the world reason to resist the barbarism of Islam and the arabs. As if that means anything in this 1400 yr long drama.
One of the people I enjoy reading is a guy who is a chassidic rabbi, named Lazar brody, who was a special forces commando in the late 70's who became very religious, and has a fine site of his own to discuss and read into the political situation, as well as from his religious perspective. I'll include the last several columns of his, on Olmert. One needn't be religious to see the common sense within his particular religious perspective and the wholesomeness that is so utterly lacking in a fraudulent and corrupt person like Olmert.
Oh... he speaks of the love of G-d, of faith- Emuna- and tsuva, which is jews coming back to faith, and here it's the context of understanding amongst other things, that love of that land, of a nation that has no other designs on any other land, except itself is part and parcel of what a strong nation consists of. But here's his columes.

Olmert's Nosedive
Prime Minister Olmert faces a new accusation and investigation - his sixth. This one is more embarrassing and shameful than all the others. Why doesn't he resign already? The answer is simple: Those who stand before Hashem with no shame certainly aren't ashamed of flesh and blood. Don't worry - Hashem exposes the wicked, especially those who are willing to sell Torah and the Land of Israel down the river for their own political and personal expedience. The ax of Hashem's justice will fall just at the right time. We don't see how Olmert will be able to power-thrust himself out of this nosedive, especially when his own party members - like the vultures they are - are eagerly awaiting to pick at his torn flesh.
Not only does Olmert have the blood and tears of Gush Katif on his hands; he personally engineered the most infamous anti-Torah coalition (2003) in the history of Israel as Sharon's #2 man. They choked the income subsidies for large families, the stipends for rabbinical students, and the budgets of the Yeshivas causing many Torah institutions to close their doors. Now, let's see what happened to that coalition: Sharon, the PM, was struck in the brain and became a vegetable. Shinui, who rose meteorically to 15 mandates in Knesset on their antireligious platform, has been wiped off the political map with not a single seat in the new Knesset. Bibi Natanyahu and the Likud, have shrunk to a non-entity. The NRP, which also sat in the anti-Torah coalition, continues to shrink like a raisin and has lost both its independence and its religious identity.
How has Olmert gotten off the hook until now? He engineered the coalition!
Hashem lets the evil soar to great heights, and then lets them crash. Olmert has his dreams of getting a Nobel Prize for giving the Golan to the Syrians or Jerusalem and Judea to the Islamic Jihad (aka Palestinian Authority). He's in for a rude awakening...
If Olmert does crash, then I pray that the rest of Israel has a soft landing.
The 1701 Spin
I didn't title this post, "The Death of 1701," because something can't die if it never lived.
The advantage of the web is the ease of searching. If you want to know what we wrote about any subject, simple type your search word into the search box on the left toolbar of this site. Type in "1701" and see the surprises you get.
"Nearly two years ago, when we were lamenting the tragic outcome of the second Lebanon War under the (mis)leadership of the anti-emuna government, we said among other things in our article The Big Loser from 13 August, 2006:
Mr. Olmert has agreed to a UN Ceasefire which is the epitome of emptiness. He of course will declare himself a winner, be he failed to achieve anything but empty promises from foreign nations. Particularly the ceasefire fails to disarm Hizbolla and says nothing about returning the kidnapped IDF soldiers.
Three weeks ago, Emuna News warned that Olmert was going to lose the war for Israel: "The Hizbolla is dedicated, whereas the anti-religious Israeli government is fighting for their dream of comfort and a sidewalk-cafe society; that won't work here in the Holy Land... Such defeatist philosophy assures defeat... let those who seek sidewalk cafe societies move to Vienna."
There's no doubt in my mind that Olmert's government will approve the meaningless ceasefire on their Monday morning meeting. With no faith in Hashem, there's no backbone.
Last year, the secular government uprooted 9,000 Jews from their homes in Gush Katif. This year, the secular government shows its apathy to over a million residents of the north, its cowardice, and its inability to fight terror.
Hashem is speaking loud and clear: A secular Israel is no substitute for Torah and Tshuva. Hashem is now burying the myth of "invincible" Israel; Hashem is exposing the ineptitude of secular Israel's arrogant leaders. Hashem is showing that without Hashem, nothing will succeed; this is a message that's been reverberating almost every day here at the Beams."
Not too many people care about the truth, especially if it affects their fun & games. But anyway, you get the truth right here, because nobody else looks at the news through emuna eyes. Later that day after we wrote "The Big Loser", we wrote a scathing critique of 1701 (again, 2 years ago!) called The Numbers Racket, saying:
Olmert isn't wasting much time telling us how great UN Resolution 1701 is. What's so great about it? 1701 calls for the implementation of UN Resolution 1559, which calls for the dismantling of Hizbolla. Whoopee. Soon, we'll need a new UN Resolution calling for the implementation of 1701.
No, I'm not a prophet. Emuna simply lets me see farther down the road than folks who lie to themselves, like the leftist-oligarchy-influenced media or the Uncle-Tom-regime-influenced media, or the anti-emuna leaders themselves.
So where do we hold today? Not an iota of 1701 has been implemented, other than planting the worthless UN forces in South Lebanon that spend their days sun-bathing and their nights drinking beer.
Foreign Minister Livni and Defense Minister Barak, both ardent supporters of 1701 two years ago, now cry that it's worthless. Israeli defense technocrats are even stronger in their language, saying that "United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, passed to stop the Second Lebanon War, is on the verge of collapse as Syria continues to rearm Hizbullah." One official said last week, "1701 has completely failed." Duh. Emuna News told you that two years ago - just scroll through our archives.
You can't win a war here without emuna. Two years after the war, most of the Israeli media admits that Israel lost the war. Amazingly enough, the master of arrogance, corruption, and self-deception still claims otherwise. It would be pitifully amusing if it weren't the leader of my beloved country.
While I'm slaying giants, here's another swing of the sword at the anti-emuna chief advisor in the Sharon government who (sic) masterminded the catastrophic disengagement, namely Dov Weissglass. In a recent commentary he wrote for Israel's popular Ynet news, DW says: "Hamas too realizes that it is dealing with current-day Israel. It fires rockets and mortar shells with no fear; it forced Israel to lift the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip; it holds on to abducted soldier Gilad Shalit and keeps fooling those negotiating on his release...the enemy no longer fears us!" That's your fault, Mr. Weissglass, with your inane anti-emuna self-serving policies. In the dumbest statement I've heard for years, DW concludes: "The IDF...must find a way to again scare the enemy. The fear will regain (at least partly so) some of Israel’s dignity and security." If Weissglass would open up a Torah scroll, head read that the enemy fears us only when the name of Hashem is upon us (see Devorim 28:10). You Mr. Weissglass and your cronies don't exactly reflect the light of Hashem in the world.
Hizbulla is armed to the gills with three times the missiles it had 2 years ago. It has more and better-trained soldiers. Olmert has no answer, for there is no military or diplomatic solution. The only thing that will save Israel from another calamity like the Second Lebanon War is emuna and teshuva. Don't make me write "I told you so" again two years from now. Emuna is the key word. Teshuva is the way to make a fresh new national start. Let's go.
-------------
Now, emuna is 'faith' and tsuva is a generalied term meaning returning to faithfulness.
One needn't be Jewish nor faithful to see who the idiots are and who the people who love and care for their land, their history, their convictions that never in thousands of year, stood for conquering other lands, except Israel... and now we have the people who reject being jews, reject their soveign right to exist selling off their lands, the blood of their people, their soldiers to avoid being thrown out of power.
Incidentally, just as an aside- I'd recommend reading Prof Eugene Narrett's texts on the subject
of Israel and the west, the east etc for some very interesting reading on the cultural and political problems all this reveals.
'Israel Awakened'- a chronicle of the Oslo War, and Gatherered Against Jerusalem- essays on a false peace, are exceptional analyses and well worth the read.
Oh, Abbas always issues a gesture to Olmert.
It's his middle finger.
Olmert sees mirage: "We have never been as close to a possible agreement as we are today"
Actually, they have made agreements before. But nothing has ever really come of it in terms of any benefit to Israel, except perhaps giving the Sinai peninsula to Egypt in exchange for recognition and peace. They have had peace on that border, except for when Hamas has muscled their way into the picture.
Why does Abbas never have to make any "gesture" to Olmert?
Because he isn't the Dhimmi?
OLMERT brings that famous saying,"Stayed at the Dance too long", to mind ,in addition to the one that includes the words ,to a FAILED Leader,"......be gone ,already.."
However, there could be a very GOOD REASON why A GUY ON THE WAY OUT is kept on a little while longer!
The long-suffering people of Israel have a right to ask the members of their political and media elites the following question:
What do you know about Islam?
What, that is, do you know about the contents of the texts -- Qur'an, Hadith, Sira?
What do you know about the figure of Muhammad, and the details of his life, a life that for Muslims is exemplary, for Muhammad is the Model of Conduct, uswa hasana, the Perfect Man, al-insan al-kamil?
What do you know about the history of Islamic conquest?
What do you know about the treatment that non-Muslims received in the lands conqured by Muslims?
What do you know about the behavior of Muslims in Muslim-ruled toward those non-Muslims even today, from East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia) to the subcontinent (Bangladesh, Pakistan, Pakistan-ruled parts of Kahsmir), to the Middle East (how do Jews and Christians and Zoroastrians fare in Iran, or Assyrians and Chaldeans in Iraq without the iron grip of their protector, Saddam Hussein?) and North Africa (how do Christians fare when they are caught with a Bible, or accused of proselytizing, or of this or of that? and in particular, how are the Copts being treated in Egypt, of which they are the original inhabitants)?
What do you know about the Treaty of Al-Hudaibiyya, made by Muhammad with the Meccans in 628 A.D., a treaty that became the model for all subsequent Muslim treaty-making with Infidels?
Do you have any reason to suspect that Fatah, with which you are negotiating, might share the exact same goal as Hamas, with which you will not negotiate, and that both the Slow Jihadists of Fatah, with their nobody-here-but-us-accountants facade (nothing like that to get the Infidel billions flowing in), and the Fast Jihadists of Hamas, share a clearly-defined goal, the goal of eliminating Israel as an Infidel nation-state, and that the only things that distinguish Fatah from Hamas are tactics and timing.
Finally, someone who greatly admired Islam for its aggression and ferocity, and who never failed, when he spoke with such feeling about "self-determination for the Sudeten Germans" to mention "the Arabs of Palestine," Mr. Adolf Hitler, was a great believer in the same kind of treaty-making as Muslims follow. Here is how Adolf Hitler put it:
In 1939, Hitler said "Whoever succeeds me must be sure to have an opening for a new war. In future peace treaties, we must therefore always leave open a few questions that will provide a pretext. That's Statesmanship!"
Any reason to think that the "Palestinians" under the repackaged-as-mild-mannered accountant Mahmoud Abbas (he whose doctoral dissertation in Moscow was one long essay in Holocaust denial, and who for decades was an arch-henchman of Arafat, and who is up to his neck in blood) will come to an agreement that will, as Hitler recommended, "be sure to have an opening for a new war" because it will "always leave open a few questions that will provide a pretext."
Can you think what that pretext -- Jerusalem, Arab "refugees," control of invasion routes and aquifers-- might be?
The basic principle of Islamic law governing treaties with Infidels -- who are, in Islam, people with whom Believers are in a permanent state of war (though not necessarily in a state of open warfare)-- is not, as in the Western world, that "treaties are to be obeyed" (the principle known as "Pacta sunt servanda") but rather, that whatever furthers the long-term goals of Islam is what counts, and treaties may be temporarily entered into, but only as long as the Muslim side will, at the first opportunity, break the treaty and continue to work for a world in which Islam everywhere dominates, and Muslims rule, everywhere.
Yes, we know, if in fact Islam is understood, that would fatally vitiate any reliance on negotiations and treaties, and on all the "peace-processing" and to-and-froing by the officious Westerners -- this indyk, that ross, this miller, that hass, all of them so self-assured with their “everyone knows that a peace settlement will look like this” and then they proceed breathlessly, in aaron-millerish fashion (as if to stop might allow the possibility of a skeptical question or two) to list them as one: “securitysettlementsArabrefugeesJerusalem” -- who have managed to spend decades toiling in the vineyards of "peace-processing" and Arab-Israeli "peace" and have not once, not for a year, not for six month, not for a month, not for a week, not even for a day, one whole day, having sat down and begun to study Islam, and not one -- I would bet my life -- has bothered even today to read either Majid Khadduri's "War and Peace in the Law of Islam" or Antoine Fattal’s "Le statut legal des non-musulmans en pays d'Islam." They’re self-assured careerists. They’re also struttingly secure in their own fantastic ignorance, and have to be shown up, have to be called to account. They are reckless with the lives of others, with the lives of Israelis.
No, the people on the top, in Israel and in inceassantly hopeful “two-state-solution” Washington, the ones who presume presume to decide the destiny of the country and people of Israel, but won’t meet their responsibility to understand the Muslim refusal to contemplate a permanent Infidel nation-state, and are working toward the same goals in slightly different ways, and at the very least, to know about, and to raise with the Arabs the troubling question of, the Treaty of Al Hudaibiyya. These careerist miller-indy-ross-hasses, these malevolent djerijians and brzezinskis, these faux-machiavelli kissingers, these unimaginative and uniformed rices, rogers and kissingers, have for decades, when it came to the Arab Jihad against Israel, flying blind. They do not know the sources, and the deep impulses, that were always there but went for so long unrecognized. They have all, all of them, been flying blind.
And now, with these presumptuous pilots, the Israeli passengers have a right, before they board what could be a very long, and ultimately fatal flight, to find out by such questions as those offered above what these pilots and their crews know about the most important matter – the matter of Islam – which is equivalent to finding out if these pilots have anyu idea what they are doing, or if they are merely flying blind, on a wing and a prayer, a Christian prayer, and a deep misunderstanding of what Islam inculcates, what the meaning, and menace, of Islam is all about, and not only for Israel.
If they cannot answer at least this most elementary list of questions – it took me less than ten minutes to rattle them off – then the Israelis should ignore the illegitimate Olmert – fine word, illegitimate – and refuse to board that plane, and make clear that they will refuse to fly at all until a captain and a crew are obtained who know all about Islam, who know what they are doing.
Dear Hugh,
I have studied all about Islam. It's very similar to Judaism in that both religions are monotheistic. We and the Muslims have much in common, being the children of Abraham, and have shared many positive experiences. For example, both Arabs and Jews eat Hummus. Historically, the Muslims were good to the Jews in medieval Spain.
I'm confident that we and the Palestinians can make peace based on mutual recognition and a two-state solution. After all, most Palestinians want peace and a better life, just as we do.
Currently, I'm in a bit of a stew involving some false allegations by my political foes, but I'm confident that once people realize the value of my peacemaking efforts, that I will be exonerated.
By the way, what's a dhimmi?
Shalom,
Ehud
To me the obvious common sense step to take would be before the "elites" start cutting deals there should be a plebiscite regarding "the will of the people".
This could be a simple yes no question that all Israelis and Palestinians could weigh in on; "should peace be made through negotiations, including compromises?"
Yes. Or No.
The idea that peace can be made despite the people wanting war is absurd, the people will be hostile to each other if they want to be hostile, and what pact or treaty can leaders sign that overrule the warfare that exists in the hearts of people?
So.. when are the next elections in Israel..? Can the Knesset possibly hamper Olmert's destructive efforts in some way..?
Israel has to hang on until Bibi comes in and cleans up the place.
I only hope Mr. Netanyahu doesn't pull a Sarkozy on us.
Note well, my fellow jihadwatchers/ dhimmiwatchers.
Hugh's longer posting, above, should be copied, and saved, by every man and woman jack of us, to be placed under the noses of each and every one of our elected representatives. If we can persuade even some of them to see 'the situation in the middle east' in its proper light, voting patterns in the UN might change, and the Islamintern might find it a little more difficult to conduct their virtual lynching parties against Israel.
Hugh's little article could also be very easily modified, as regards its final paragraphs, in order to illuminate all those other fronts of the Third Jihad (for example, India - Kashmir and West Bengal; the Philippines - the southern Islands; Thailand - the southern provinces, Russia - Dagestan, Ossetia, Chechens, not to mention France - the 'banlieus' and Sweden - Malmo),
Yes, this article should be placed, and re-placed, and placed again, under our representatives' noses, until we find someone, anyone, either in office or aspiring to office, who responds with an unequivocal Yes to the first seven questions, all of which apply not just to 'Israel and the local Arab Muslims' but also to all of kafirdom versus the Ummah.
mark - by the way, your story about the lama who told you "Islam is a devil's religion" was just brilliant.
Perhaps you should find someone to translate Hugh's little essay, above - I would call it Seven Questions, after the first seven questions with which it opens - into Arabic, and Hebrew, and Russian.
Then send a copy to each member of the Knesset (well: you probably shouldn't bother with any Arab Muslim members, although it might be interesting to do so anyway, and see what kind of response you get!) and to every ranking officer in the IDF, and the mayor of every city in Israel; and a copy to the Chief Rabbi mightn't hurt, either.
Hey: nail it to doorways and stick it up in public places - does Israel have places where, for example, posters advertising bands, and public functions, and suchlike, may be placed on view?
I think it's one of Hugh's best efforts.
In a perfect world, Hugh's piece would appear in large type on the front page of every Jewish paper, in Israel and also in the diaspora, with a huge banner headline: Questions Demanding Answers.
Indeed, it would also be appearing in Gentile papers, in India and the Philippines and Canada and Australia and the USA and throughout Europe, and in at least a few African countries (Kenya? Uganda? South Africa? Ghana?).
It should be on every campus noticeboard in the Western world.
If I were a student or faculty member in a university, I would be printing it out, in large type, and sticking it up where it could be seen; perhaps embellished by a few suitably eye-catching images.
Is there anyone, reading here, who is a member of a university organisation, club, association of society, whether students or faculty, and whether Christian or Jewish, or even Hindu, who could do something with Hugh's piece, subject to his blessing and permission?
What if a bunch of Jews and Christians - and atheists and agnostics! - were to get together in the middle of the quad and read the whole thing out loud, having at the ready their copies of Spencer, Bat Yeor, Bostom, and the Quran, and A Guillaume, etc., to educate the passers-by?
I'm afraid I don't have easy access to that sort of venue or contacts any more - my uni days are far behind me.
But I can still think of a few people, in other walks of life, to whom I will be communicating those Seven Questions That Demand An Answer.
If Mr Goldberg and other Israeli posters will send those Seven Questions to their Knesset members, the rest of us can do the same for *our* politicians and diplomats, and our religious leaders.
Think think Daniel Pearl said the same thing.
Once.
"Give me all your lunch money and I will stop beating you up."
What a deal!
What is the definition of insanity?
l assume since Israel has a Parliamentry form of government similiar to GB, Canada, and his government can bring him down with a vote of nonconfidence easpecially when they see Olmert being investigated for corruption and he is now talking quite insanely they should act now. Vote down his government now and arrest him when he lands in Israel, even better send him with the pali prisoner exchange.
BlessUS_BanIslam: Thanks for the link to the Caroline Glick article. If someone like Sarkozy can be gullible or complicit (or both), as Glick effectively argues, then to whom should the West turn? When will we get the talented, tough Churchill type who will say enough is enough to the extremely dysfunctional and hate-filled Muslim world? Sadly, none are on the horizon. The best the West has now are McCain and Sarkozy types. And the Barack Obama and Gordon Brown types fill me with dread. Things don't look so good.
One last point and it is this: The single greatest weakness in the West presently is the sheer idiocy that has enveloped liberal thought. The old liberals like Attlee and Truman were still realistic about barbarians. But the modern Left is functioning, for all intents and purposes, as a fifth column within the West and undermining it with political correctness, multiculturalism, abject apologies for being who we are and other rot along these lines. Shame on Islam. But shame on modern liberalism too, which is clueless across the board, none more so than all the enthusiasts supporting an Obama presidency. The times are out of joint.

Oh boy have you got that right! Watched the news tonight where the story about Kadr the 15 year old terrorist, was being interviewed in Gitmo.
The spin is, this poor kid, look at this poor kid.
Well that poor kid killed an American medic, while he was over in Afghanistan training, with his families blessing. Of course, that was mentioned as an afterthought and they also put the word "allegedly" in there too. Unbelievable that the lefties all feel SO bad for this person.
Mohammad said, that Allah said, that 'A true believer is one who says the prayers, pays the tax, bows in homage, and renounces agreements with Jews'.
I would expect that true believers would do just that....And they do...This 'agreement' will fall apart because it is held together by chewing gum, and wishful thinking...
"mark - by the way, your story about the lama who told you "Islam is a devil's religion" was just brilliant."
Thanks... When people of their affection for an old teacher, consider how much that one's words have affected me over the years, what with history unfolding as it has...

"If Mr Goldberg and other Israeli posters ...."

Dumblesdoor, I'm just a grateful american, who appreciates Robert and Hugh's and the other writers who work in depth in this area. We all need to learn and comprehend and act accordingly.
As for the posting of that ex IDF commando's thoughts, it's instructive to read the Israeli's who love that land, who have fought for it, and who write well and with great affection- who are so misrepresented by almost all media, and who get short shrift constantly.
I've traveled there quite a few times to see and meet and evaluate the areas of Gaza, Judea, Samaria, and those are wonderful people, those people, those jews, those people who are being made scapegoats for the worlds problems, or rather, the problem Islam has with the world....
By the way, I think those two books I suggested, by that Prof Narrett, are well worth the read.....
Mark
I saw that jpost link showing Sarkozy pulling together the hands of Olmert and Abbas. I almost threw up.
I am becoming increasingly convinced that M. Sardhimmi has made a deal with the Matrix.
He is doing the exact opposite of what he was elected and expected to do.
I think he's getting huge money from the SOWdis.
How many more years will our "élites" be able to enjoy the money they are being paid by the enemy?!
The enemy will humor and pay these useful idiots only for as long as they are needed.
Once the keys to the Shining Cities on the Hill have been irreversibly relinquished all the money in the world won't mean a thing.
It's really really painful to see how we are being sold out by the intelligent more perceptive elements among our "leaders".
The stupid fools like Livingstone, Gordon Browne, Solana, Zapatero, Angela Merkel and her center-left coalition and all the rest of them are to be pitied for their lack of logic as much as they are to be despised for that fact.
But even more than all this, who are WE - collectively WE - to continue to allow these mediocrities so devoid of basic common sense and intelligence, so lacking in pride, honesty, decency and yes, cojones when it comes to the Nations they are charged with running and protecting, into office?!
How did we get here?!
How did this happen?
I think it may have started with the certainly well-intended "immigration reform" by the Kennedys which shifted the American electorate irreversably to the Left.
The Euro-weenies were of course only too glad to follow this path to the left.
Good intentions pave the road to hell..
I have seen the enemy and he is us.
"Talent hits a target no one else can hit. Genius hits a target no one else can see."
Could this possibly be Robert and Hugh? Though I keep shaking my head why noone can [or refuses to] see the target.
The 300 LB gorilla will only get bigger if you keep housing and feeding it.
Pretty big target but it seems as if only the geniuses here can see it.
Incroyable.. unglaublich.. increible.. and so on.

It's amazing... What kind of self loving self aggrandizing palaver these politicians will try to sell us. There were wonderful german americans and even more wonderful japanese americans prior too WW II - but that didn't help us enter and stop a war that killed 6 million jewish victims, wound up killing 5 million more nonjewish victims and took 50 million total in all the nations before the 'conflict' was over.
Now, what will it take?
500 million while the politicians like Obama, and even McClain with their good good feelings for others, whilst ignoring what the
stated, and declared threat actually is... and stated a thousand times and so obvious, any fool ought to be able to accept the harsh realities. There are wonderful people, all over the place- it's not the wonderful people we need to worry about.
