“We're getting more British Muslims reporting to us that they feel anti-Muslim prejudice is increasing in society,” said Inayat Bunglawala, spokesman for the Muslim council of Britain. “There are incidents of attacks against mosques and Islamic schools.”
Last week, Shahid Malik, Britain's first Muslim minister, criticised what he described as growing hostility to Muslims in the UK. But many others feel that more measures accepting demands of the community have been counter-productive.
The latest measure calls for police dogs to wear booties before searching a Muslim's house. The British National Party, started a counter-campaign arguing that whites face discrimination.

I had to work a job in a California location this week and the technician that was assigned there had an English accent. So after a few minutes of talking shop on the job, I asked if he was from England (yes) and how long he had been here(5 years). I then just jumped right to it and asked him bluntly "Is the Islamic problem in England as bad as it sounds on the news?" He paused a moment and responded "It's a lot worse. Much worse. I'm afraid England has gone down the wrong path and will disappear in a few years."
So the booties will probably disappear along with the police dogs soon.
Yes I would certainly feel afraid of Islam and what it mandates its followers to go and harm non Muslims. The harsh and barbaric laws of Islam is dangerous to non Muslims. As far as equating Islamophobia to race is stupid. The non Muslim Asians experience maybe due to the ignorance in the part of the general population about Islam and its followers, and it is unfortunate.
It's getting to the point that unless Britain makes Islam illegal the Sceptered Isle will cease to be Britain within half a century at most. It seems to have gotten so bad in the UK that merely banning further Muslim immigration will not be enough. Expulsion of Muslims might be all that's left to save Britain from extinction. Sounds drastic I know but that does not mean it's incorrect. Islam is a cancer in any Western nation but in Britain the metastasization is approaching the critical stage. Meanwhile, the British elites are as clueless, condescending and complicit as ever. When are ordinary Brits going to say enough is enough? Or have they lost the will to do so?

Oh I missed to state that what we also see here is the claiming of other "Asians" by moslems.
moslems are completely responsible for any reaction they get. But there are those who may look similar on the surface but who are nothing like moslems who can fall victim to something or other undeservedly.

Ask any Arab Muslim and he or she would have no doubt that Arabness is deeply rooted in Islam and vice verse. They reveal the fact that Arabs are the main beneficiaries of the promises of Islam, and that Islam is, among other vile things, a vehicle of Arab cultural triumphalism over all other races and creeds.

Let's see some figures. How many Moslems are there in the U.K.? How many were killed last year? How many of these were killed by other Moslems? How many by non-Moslems? Then how many non-Moslems were killed by Moslems? Again, I'd wager that there more Moslem murderers than there were Moslems murdered. How many "honor-killings" of Moslem women were there last year? And let's see similar figures for other crimes. Like rape: How many? Of whom? By whom?

The whining, lying, demanding muslims might soon experience real "anti-muslim" rage that will blow their arrogant minds. I can almost feel the repressed emotions slowly and inexorably mounting among native Brits, emotions that can't be contained indefinitely. The demanding muslim invaders, confident, bold, and triumphant due to constant appeasement by the gutless British government, will eventually go too far and all hell will break loose. It's going to be ugly and it's already long overdue. I realize that the British people are extremely civilized and genteel but we were all born with the survival instinct. Seems like this fundamental instinct would have been triggered long ago.

Two days ago I watched the 'Battle of Britain' movie (1960s).

UAF statement in response to Searchlight's resignation
We regret Searchlight's decision to walk out of the UAF. The lesson of history is that unity is essential in the fight against fascism. Within that unity it both possible and necessary to discuss the most effective strategy and tactics in the light of experience.
It is true that there have been differences with Searchlight. These are not, as they suggest over "Black leadership". Our view is that the anti-fascist movement and its leadership must encompass all of those threatened by the fascists – the trade unions, Asian and minority ethnic communities, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Sikh and other faith communities, lesbian and gay organisations, disabled people, the anti-racist movement and, indeed, all democrats.
The movement must try to unite all opponents of the fascists – irrespective of, and including, differing views on other issues such as the Middle East.
In discussing strategy we believe the anti-fascist movement should be guided by one simple criterion – what works in defeating the BNP. That is not a matter of speculation as we now have extensive experience of what works and what does not work.
What Searchlight fails to sufficiently realise is that the main political cutting edge of the BNP's campaigning today is racism – particularly directed today against Muslims, refugees and asylum seekers. Again and again, we have seen the BNP gain a foothold in areas where mainstream institutions or politicians have legitimised racism.
In Millwall, it was the racist "sons and daughters" housing policy, which discriminated against Bangladeshis. In Oldham, it was the false claim that there were more racist attacks by Asians on whites than vice versa. In Keighley, it was the suggestion that there was a large-scale phenomenon of Asian men grooming white school girls for sex and the suggestion that there was disproportionate crime in the Asian community due to low educational achievement linked to trans-continental marriages bringing in people who cannot speak English.
In Millwall and Oldham the TUC led national campaigns which confronted the racist myths upon which the BNP were feeding head-on and made an alliance with the local Asian communities central to the campaign. The result was that the BNP was driven back. Some time ago the TUC asked the UAF to focus on the North West and the results have been spectacular – by far the worst setbacks for the BNP occurred in the Oldham constituencies.
In Keighley and Bradford, credence was given to the BNP's racist myths and the local Asian community were not central to the campaign. The result is that the BNP now has four local councillors and nearly 10 per cent of the vote at the general election. At the request of local politicians the UAF did not organise a campaign in Keighley where Searchlight was influential in the strategy and has run articles giving credence to the false "grooming" stories.
Our contention is very simple – where the anti-fascist campaign, in which the trade unions must play a central role, takes on racism and allies with those targeted by the fascists – very often Black, Asian and Muslim communities – it has pushed back the BNP. Where it has failed to fight racism, or made concessions to it, and failed to centrally involved the communities targeted by the fascists, it has been far less effective or failed.
These are important issues which merit serious and considered debate. We regret Searchlight's decision to leave the UAF. But these issues will continue to be debated by anti-fascists all over Britain and we will not allow Searchlight's departure to weaken the unity in action which must accompany that discussion.
The far right has stronger electoral support than ever before in British history. If we do not succeed in reversing the trend of the last five years they are on the verge of a major breakthrough. That is why we have to learn from experience of what is most effective in stopping them, debate these issues openly, and, at the same time, sustain unity in action of everyone opposed to the BNP.

Believe me, as a true Brit, the population is seething and it will explode eventually. Every taxi ride, supermarket trip, hairdressing trip, airport security etc., brings forth the ire of the great British public, young and old, towards the muslim world, especially immigrants to Europe, because they are not paying the price for their misdeeds, but we are. Whilst travelling through Schipol airport, amsterdam, I was made to remove my jacket, my shoes etc., having already been through security twice, whilst I watched with utter amazement two muslim women go through without removing jackets or headscarves. I am a white female in my senior years and like to leave my home looking smart and well dressed and find it insulting and undignified to have to practically de-robe, remove jewellery and shoes etc. By the time these idiots have finished I am ready to kill as this has nothing to do with me whatsoever and right down the line the wrong people are being targeted instead of muslims who are the world's bomb throwers and head choppers. It is well overdue for Europeans to start their onward march to remove these people from our civilised society before they do more damage and we reach the point of no return. Count me in.
