A question I have often asked.
The courageous Iranian dissident Amil Imani considers it here.

People who are wedded to lies are attempting to make exposing their mendaciousness a taboo tactic that "respectable journalists" wouldn't do, only lowly "muckrackers." Same old, same old.

Amil Imani's article is powerful. Now if we could convince ourselves to stop lying to ourselves and having our politicians lie to us, (which for some reason we love)we could defend ourselves by educating all fellow citizens boldly and properly.
Here is an example of Presidential Material. Obama could only dream about his own anatomy being as big.
Still courageous Iranian dissidents like Amil Imani's voice appears to go unheard in the halls of congress. It continues to be especially troubling when people like President Bush, and Secretary Rice are still referring to Islam as "The religion of Peace" even though the evidence is so overwhelming that an 8 year old can grasp the fact that it is a myth.
Why this evidence seems to escape them is beyond me. My only arguement in their defence is that they are trying not to polarize the entire umma against us since they are the powerful represented voices of our country. But why even state this myth at all is the question? Islam does not really care what we think because they believe they are superior to us with their backward, violent, and paganistic so-called religion. They respect nothing but their Islamic heritage and teachings.
One keeps looking for a leader who will step out and hold this ideologies feet to the fire and not back down when they play the victim card which in the PC world and the Multiculturalist world is our achilles tendon--and they know it.
Well, telling the truth will get you in trouble with pretty much anybody. This is the sad, dangerous world in which we live.
Telling the truth about most things these days is considered bashing.
Mo,
Right. Truth hurts, so it's bashing.

Thanks, Robert.
Amil is indeed a brave man. God protect him and his.
