Two schoolboys were allegedly disciplined after refusing to kneel down and "pray to Allah" during a religious education lesson.
It was claimed that the boys, from a year seven class of 11 and 12-year-olds, were given detention after refusing to take part in a practical demonstration of how Allah is worshipped.
Yesterday parents accused the school of breaching their human rights by forcing them to take part in the exercise.
One, Sharon Luinen, said: "This isn't right, it's taking things too far. I understand that they have to learn about other religions. I can live with that but it is taking it a step too far to be punished because they wouldn't join in Muslim prayer.
"Making them pray to Allah, who isn't who they worship, is wrong and what got me is that they were told they were being disrespectful."
Another parent Karen Williams, 38, whose 12-year-old daughter is a classmate of the boys, said: "I am absolutely furious my daughter was made to take part in it and I don't find it acceptable.
"The teacher had gone into the class and made them watch a short film and then said 'we are now going out to pray to Allah'.
"Then two boys got detention and all the other children missed their refreshments' break."
She added: "Not only was it forced upon them, my daughter was told off for not doing it right.
"They'd never done it before and they were supposed to do it in another language."
She said the pupils were asked if they had water on them, and when one girl produced a bottle, the teacher began washing her feet with it.
Her husband Keith, 44, a painter and decorator, said: "The school is wonderful but this one teacher has made a major mistake. It seems to be happening throughout society. People think they can ride roughshod over our beliefs and the way we live."
The alleged incident, at the Alsager school, one of Cheshire's top performing schools, happened on Tuesday afternoon. The teacher, Alison Phillips, the school's subject leader in RE, is understood to be staying away from the school until the furore dies down, although she has not been suspended.
She is said to have got prayer mats out of the cupboard and also asked children to wear Islamic headdresses.
Deputy headmaster Keith Plant said: "I have spoken to the teacher and she has articulately given me her version of events."
Sources at the school said the incident could have been down to Miss Phillips instigating a role play and not properly briefing the pupils, all aged around 12, what she was doing.
A spokesman for Cheshire County Council said they were investigating. He added: "The headteacher contacted the authority immediately complaints were received. Enquiries are being made into the circumstances as a matter of urgency and all parents will be informed accordingly.
"Educating children in the beliefs of different faiths is part of Cheshire's diversity curriculum on the basis that knowledge is, of course, is essential to understanding.
"We accept that such teaching has to be conducted with commonsense and sensitivity."

What if Alison Phillips had taken her students to the girl's bathroom, had them each assert that they had accepted Christ as their personal savior, and then baptised them all in the shower?
I'm sure any Muslim students present would have accepted it just fine, as it was just a bit of "role-playing".
I do wonder about this teacher--is she a Muslim "revert", a total dhimmi, or just a crazed multiculturalist? The mention of prayer mats being taken out of a cupboard makes me suspect that the school has been supplied with materials to assist in the teaching of religious studies by some group. In much the same way commercial companies will give schools materials that happen to bear their logo or discretely mention their product. I read a few years ago that some Islamic educational trust, no doubt Saudi financed, was supplying a box of materials to British schools under the pretext that textbooks currently in use may be 'inauthentic'. Inauthentic probably means not towing the strict wahhabi line as much as anything else - the books they supplied were very shiny, new and had lots of coloured calligraphic decoration throughout to make them attractive to children, in a mindless sort of way. Perhaps the oil money ran to supplying prayer mats as well.
I phoned a couple of good friends in Alsager yesterday and none of them had heard anything about the row, and the place is not particularly culturally enriched, keep it coming, this sort of nonsense will mean that more and more of my fellow Brits will get the message. Stoke on Trent just down the road, is what one would call a hot bed of BNP (British Nationalist Party) and it wont be long before the infection spreads to the rest of the Potteries.

This is an outrage and the teacher should be sacked.
I'd encourage all parents and consituents to contact their local MPs and councils today and demand that any teacher undertaking such activity or any principal allowing any such activity to be undertaken, be dismissed.
Parents and grandparents should also demand a copy of their local council's/school's diversity curriculum and investigate the content for themselves to ensure there aren't nasty surprises in store for their children either.
Lastly, I think these two brave young men deserve a medal for their courage in refusing to be dhimmis and standing tall against the pressure of their teacher and their peers. They've proven that the british bulldog spirit survives. A very hopeful sign after the craven dhimmitude shown in the last few days by the call within the ruling class for Sharia to be introduced.
This, more than ever, shows the importance of getting out and voting in your council elections. Get the politicians to declare where they stand on these issues and vote them out if they're on the wrong side.

These two boys took on the establishment by themselves. They are our youngest heros and should be recognized as such, making it clear to them, their families and fellow students that people the world over admire them and are talking and writing about their brave defiance of the Islamic indoctrination foisted upon their class.
We may not know the students names, but these two boys from the Alsager school remain heros in my book. Their example is one I will use to teach my youngest child that defiance in limited circumstances will not only be acceptable - but honorable.

Hm--one of the examples where English-language phrasing is not entirely clear, but I got the impression that the teacher was washing *her own feet* with this student's water.
This is "wudu", or ritual cleansing before Islamic prayer. I'm surprised this school doesn't have expensive wudu baths already installed in the loos--this has already happened at several US universities and airports.
Non-Muslims Parents, KEEP YOUR KIDS OUT OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Not just for the possibility that some teacher might make your children sin (First Commandment) by having them say prayers to a false god (allah), but also for other indoctrination that goes on there.

Dr Durie lays out all the chief points of collision between the Biblical view of god and humanity on the one hand, and the Islamic view, on the other, very briefly and clearly, with reference to the key source texts; what's more, he summarises it in tabular form (jam for any good teacher).

When I heard this story, I first suggested to my family that we send the young boys gift cards in honor of their bravery. Later, I thought a better idea would be buying gift cards from major credit cards and sending them to the parents so they could pay the boys tuition to a nice, CHRISTIAN school!!!
