Aafia Siddiqui's supporters should explain why they believe that a devout Muslim would be incapable of plotting to blow up the Statue of Liberty. After all, devout Muslims who explain and justify their actions by reference to Islamic texts and teachings have been responsible for the blowing up of the Twin Towers on 9/11 and thousands of other acts of violence around the world since then. In light of that, it's just slightly staggering that AP's Larry Neumeister would set up the opposition in his two opening paragraphs in this way -- but it is just more testimony to the success of the "Islam is a Religion of Peace" propaganda that has so skillfully obscured the actual motives and goals of jihad terrorists.

Why do Mohammedans mention their "God" when they're killing people? Because "allah" in the Koran commands the murder and mass-murder of "the Unbelievers."

I wonder whether the prosecution is using the testimony of the US soldiers involved in the capture (the officer and the captain) whereas the 'witnesses' cited by the defence, who say Siddiqui 'never lunged for a weapon', and 'they never heard rifle shots', are all Muslims?
I want to know who those 'witnesses' are.
