Send the guy to †urkey and the girl back to Germany. Sounds like a fair exchange to me.
Better idea- lock the guy up until the daughter returns to Germany. These people think they "own" their female children, and can do whatever they want. See how long he'll sit in a cell until he understands that, if he wants to live in Germany, he has to follow German law.

Seems to me that her rights as a German citizen where violated. Now, should Turkey be admitted to the EU? If they are, this woman would not have needed a passport to leave Turkey. Of course, there are those pesky Turkish relatives who have locked you inside a room...........

Dad is dictating who his 25 year old daughter marries? At 25 she is certainly old enought to decide for herself; and I'm sure that kidnapping her thoroughly changed her mind, too. I would disown a contol freak father like that, and forget about ever seeing the grandkids, because he might do the same horrible thing to them; thank God my Dad wasn't like that. Sheesh.

That is exactly what will happen. I come from Australia and for the first time ever white kids in prison are forming gangs (like the herd cultures do naturally) to protect themselves - and this was mentioned by a shocked commissioner of prisons.
I predict there will be Europeans (it'll happen there first) that will have to do something like that.
