Why does he condemn suicide attacks in Pakistan? Because it's wrong, and forbidden in Islam, to kill innocent people. So far so good -- but then it turns out that he seems to think that such attacks in Afghanistan, against American forces, are just fine. They aren't innocent, you see. And it is upon this -- what is meant by the word "innocent" -- that so much depends. We constantly hear from Muslim spokesmen in the West that Islam condemns the killing of innocent people. But they do not take the time to explain whether or not they consider American office workers in the Twin Towers on beautiful September morning to have been innocent at all -- or American civilians in general.

ISALAMABAD: One can somehow justify the Taliban actions in Afghanistan on the grounds that they are engaged in fighting against the US-led forces and their local collaborators to liberate their homeland but how can suicide attacks in Pakistan could be justified, let alone to accept it as jihad.The target of these attacks, which have done huge loss of life and property, is the government and people of an Islamic country who always stood by the Afghan people in their difficult times.
The US dictated policies of the former president Pervez Musharraf presented a fragile justification of the attacks against his regime, but on what grounds they are still engaged in the terrorist activities inside Pakistan even after the departure of the man.
Now there is democratic government in place that is inclined to resolve the issue through dialogue but it is receiving disastrous results from the tribal areas and this ‘jihad’ has been extended to agencies other than North and South Waziristan and hundreds of thousands of local people have been displaced and have become refugees in their own homeland.
But the rising incidents of suicide attacks in various cities of Pakistan and claims by Taliban spokesman that they are ready to take over even country's economic hub Karachi raises serious questions about the designs of those who are operating in the country and there is need to give serious thought to cope with the situation and have a clue to reach to the true culprits and the people behind theses activities to control these activities and overcome this mafia which is out to destabilise the country, posing serious challenges to government.
The government would have to pay special attention to reach the real master minds of these activities as no Muslim can think to kill innocent people as Islam abhors all kinds of violence and promotes peace and brotherhood but these elements are killing their fellows brutally and after every suicide attack a so-called spokesman for Taliban, Mullah Umer, makes a telephone call and accepts the responsibility of the attack terming it jihad....
Anyone who opposes, or can be considered to be part of a larger machine that oppposes, the spread and dominance of Islam, is not "innocent." No American soldiers -- or civilians -- in Afghanistan can be considered "innocent," or, at least, it is not hard to make the case that they are not "innocent." A little harder, but not by much, to suggest that office-workers in downtown Manhattan are, by their activities, contribute to, and are symbols of, Infidel power and economic might, and thus fair game. In the end, it is possible to fit almost any Infidel into the category of fair game -- they've done it with every last Israeli, and the infidel nation-state of Israel is, because of its placement, merely the most obvious, and in recent times the most reported-on, target of violent Jihad.
But as Muslims have now acquired trillions of dollars in oil revenues, and all that that Money Weapon can buy (weapons, propaganda, campaigns of Da'wa, armies of Western hirelings and thus great influence in the capitals of the West and in universities), and have been allowed to settle in great (and unsettling) numbers deep within the Bilad al-kufr, behind what Muslims are taught to regard as enemy lines, what was once only a dream, of conducting the struggle to remove every obstacle to the spread, and then the dominance, of Islam, all over the world, has become thinkable, and to some quite doable. And that helps one to realize that the campaign against Israel, is not unique, but merely first in time.
To Hugh; Very well said. I would only add that Israel's position in islam is in some ways unique. mo(p*ss be upon him) seemed to have a special hatred for Jews. However if I understand your context correctly, I would agree that nothing less than world destruction errr, I mean domination is islam's (or at least the spirit behind it) true goal. Rather than first in line, I would characterize Israel as in the front line. In my understanding of Biblical prophecy, Israel is the last nation to fall to islam.

When there is a war, people die. How many people have so far died in Afgahnistan and Iraq after US "liberated" them?? Do you have any counts? That was one fucking incident happened 7 years back but its a 9-11 everyday for people living in Afghanistan, Iraq, palestine and even pakistan that became the frontline state for USA. Do u even consider that? No. Coz all most of you are concerned with is how many westerners/christians/jews have been killed by muslims. So if they dont consider "Americans" or "westerners" as innocent, you too are of opinion that all muslims deserve to die.

A Muslim guy in my department condemned the 9/11 attacks. Not because he killing innocent Americans was in any wrong, not because the homicide bombers were from the same country, many of them them same same university, all o fthem the same school of Islam, or because we didn't deserve, but because...they didn't handle the women and children in the WTC and the Pentagon according to "proper Islamic protocols." So 9/11 was worng because the women and children weren't attacked whil ethey were unarmed in unprovoked night raids, then rounded up, systematically raped, and the enslaved or sold into slavery. 'Muslim ethics.' He of course phrased it that way because, like most Muslims, he was operating on the assumption that I was as ignorant and illiterate as your average Muslim (probably because his pervert told him that women are genetically inferior and stupid), and because, like all Muslims, he's malignant narcissist and he was just living up to the malignant narcissist's MO. He also thought he was having one over on my (Jewish) friend and me by saying that he regretted not joining the EGyptian military (so that he could kill Israelis with impunity). Makes you wonder why he ever left Egypt, where everyone's favorite Friday afternoon activity is killing Copts.
