Daliding’s warning came as Mayor Lawrence Cruz of Iligan City and Mayor Celso Lobregat of Zamboanga City said they had received death threats. Both, along with Vice Gov. Emmanuel Piñol of North Cotabato province, are the staunchest opponents of the memorandum, which seeks to take away a number of their barangay units (villages) and place them under the supervision of the Bangsamoro Juridical Entity.
Cruz said the death threats came from the MILF, while Lobregat refused to elaborate. They said Piñol had also been receiving death threats.[...]
The Maranao leader insisted that the memorandum of agreement is for peace, and appealed to the senators to help “avert a war.” He charged that local officials are opposing the memorandum because they have selfish interests.
Or, as Muhammad so poetically put it, aslam taslam: "Submit, and you will have peace."
Muslims make war - total war, cold war and hot war -on their non-Muslim neighbours, beginning with low level harassment and bullying and individuals or gangs conducting criminal acts such as rape, assault, theft and fraud, and escalating slowly and steadily to fullscale military assault (or, sometimes, infiltration and military coups to seize control of centres of power).
They try to force their neighbours or their 'host' communities to give in, become dhimmis, and let the Muslims boss them around - 'anything for a quiet life'.
But a quiet life is exactly what dhimmis NEVER get: instead any dhimmi community serves as an all-purpose scapegoat, chew toy and punching bag for vicious, supremacist, greedy, lazy and cruel Muslim overlords. The rapes, robberies, bashings, frauds, petty bullying, screaming insults, and every other kind of nastiness persist unabated, just as before the dhimmi 'surrendered'.
Islam being not only a system of enslavement, but also a system of human sacrifice manque, individual dhimmis or groups of dhimmis may at any time find that they have been randomly selected to become the latest batch of human sacrifices (in some cases, the Muslims may attempt to systematically immolate, with extreme cruelties, entire dhimmi communities to the tune of hundreds of thousands or even a million or more murders, in an ecstasy of allahu akbaring destruction - see the Armenians; see the south Sudanese).
Converting to Islam does not bring peace, either; it means becoming part of a chaotic gestalt that continually wars upon and cannibalises itself; and Muslim women, as well as dhimmis, are the sacrificial victim of choice whenever 'allah' needs a drink of human blood. It's just so easy for a woman to 'slip' and find that the men around her are baying for her death (such a 'slip' need be merely suspected, rumoured, or indeed invented out of whole cloth by the psychopathic wannabe-woman-killer/s). But any Muslim may at any time find themselves being ritually disposed of by those around them.
All of this can be demonstrated from contemporary news stories, and from the books of Andrew Bostom and Bat Yeor.
No, if the Filipinos do not want to their beautiful islands and people to be swallowed by the yawning abyss of dhimmitude, or the equally awful abyss of the Ummah, where thought, laughter, music, joy, art and creativity are relentlessly snuffed out, where there is continual fear, war and slavery and a ceaseless alternation between amoral despotism and chaos, they are going to have to quit negotiating altogether and hammer the Muslims without letup, with a view to totally defeating them and removing the murderous and destructive ideology of Islam from the Philippines altogether.

there will be "holy war" if the agreement is not scrapped too..the writings in the Qur'an give the instructions on deceit and "holy war".
