Tehran, 15 Sept. (AKI) - Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reportedly has a secret plan to accelerate nuclear arms production by simulating a breakdown at the nuclear reactor of Bushehr.That is according to a memorandum circulated among several western intelligence services cited in the Italian daily, La Stampa.
The Khamenei initiative dates back to the day after 6 September 2007 when Israeli warplanes struck an alleged nuclear reactor that was allegedly being developed in northern Syria.
The effectiveness of that attack frightened Khamenei who feared the same could happen to Iranian nuclear plants.
A few weeks later in Iranian capital Tehran, Khamenei gathered a group of senior officials responsible for national security and nuclear power, including Mohsen Fahrizadeh, entitled Project III - the programme suspected of planning the development of nuclear arms.
On that occasion, according to the memorandum, Khamenei spoke of the need to accelerate the military project in such a way that it did not run the risk of breaching the rules of the United Nations' nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency.
During the meeting several proposals were discussed and at the end of the talks, "Khamenei called for a plan to be drawn up to exploit the nuclear material of the Bushehr plant to obtain plutonium".
According to sources cited in the document, there were moments of tension during the meeting because several of the officials there "warned Khamenei repeatedly" that if they took this course, Iran would "pay a serious political price"....
Maybe. Maybe not.

Free Speech Protection Act
Earlier this year New York passed legislation protecting authors from what has become known as “libel terrorism,” lawsuits claiming defamation filed in foreign jurisdictions and intended to intimidate authors and publishers. Since then, legislation modeled after New York’s bill, entitled the Free Speech Protection Act, was introduced with bi-partisan support in both the U.S. House and Senate.
We received word on Friday that Senators Specter and Schumer have filed the Free Speech Protection Act, with minor changes, as an amendment for consideration to be included in the Senate Defense Authorization bill (S. 3001).
The decision to allow amendments like this to be voted on for inclusion in the bill is made by the "managers" of the bill (Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin and for the GOP John Warner in Senator John McCain's absence). Senator Levin has to agree to allow a vote on our amendment. Levin, Warner and other Senate leaders are negotiating over which amendments (if any) will be allowed for consideration, and so far, only amendments directly related to the defense bill have been considered and voted on.
It is therefore URGENT that Senators Levin, Warner, and other members of the Senate Armed Services Committee hear from the grassroots right away. We need you to contact these members and urge them to include the Free Speech Protection Act as an amendment to the Senate Defense Authorization bill, S.3001. Tell them protecting American authors who write about terrorism is crucial to our national security and the war on terrorism.

Iran will most likely become the 2nd Muslim government to obtain nuclear weapons. It is only a matter of time before they begin to use them.
Repeated suicide attack linked with WMD is one hell of a large war.
The West apparently has an intelligence asset either inside Iran's nuclear program or inside Khamenei's inner circle. One can't help but wonder...
1) the extent to which the information is accurate
and...
2) if the public release of this information has jeopardized someone's life...someone very valuable and very courageous.
Add no.3 to above list:
3. If multiple Western intelligence agencies are seeing this do their governments intend to be proactive or will they simply demand more talks and negotiations at the UN, NATO or elsewhere?
Will they leave any decision to the US and then complain about it afterward?
What OUGHT to happen if the kafir world had any kind of sense of self-preservation.
1. Give Israel a sufficient number of F22s.
2. Give Israel a sufficient number of REALLY BIG bunker-busters.
3. Other equipment as required.
4. Tell Israel 'Use Your Initiative'.
5. Say nuthin' BEFORE anything happens.
6. When and after something happens: say nuthin' afterwards, too. Permanently (documents to be declassified, perhaps, in fifty years time or whatever the limit is).
7. Vote NO resoundingly to whatever hysterical antisemitic resolution is proposed by the Islamintern at the UN.
At the same time as steps 1-7, carry out step 8: sudden, complete and permanent cessation of jizya ('aid', military or economic) to Muslim nations. Pull the rug right out from under them.
Simultaneous police/ intelligence raids on mosques and islamic schools right across the kafir world would also be a good idea, they being the equivalent of Nazi meeting halls and indoctrination/ subversion centres (proof: see 'Undercover Mosque' and a slew of news stories reporting on criminal and/or treasonous activities associated with mosques and islamic schools); any and all discovery of subversive materials inciting to treason and genocide, any and all discovery of anything in breach of kafir law, would lead to immediate and permanent closure of those institutions.
And then let the chips fall where they may.

Why should it fall on Israel to resolve the world's Iran problem?
A BBC reporter says that one Iranian he'd met casually in Tehran commented that if Ahmedinejad carries on talking the way he does, he was afraid Israel might wipe Iran off the map.

Is it possible that's what Iran wants? Are they trying to usher in Armageddon? Do they think it will bring back the one who fell down the well?
Khamanei has said something to the effect that he wouldn't care if one third of Iran was destroyed if it meant the imam would reappear.
The US gov't has agreed to sell bunk buster bombs to Israel, l assume they realize Israel will take the lead to destroy iranian nuke sites. komeni needs to be careful for what he wishes for, as he might just get it!

If the kafir world REALLY had any moral sense and sense of self-preservation, and an eye to a true future for our great-grand- children and THEIR great-grand-children, Iran's nuclear project would have been obliterated three years ago - by the United States and Russia acting in concert, without warning, with overwhelming force (in, and OUT), and with neither explanations nor apologies.
And so would Pakistan's nuclear project, before that.
Call what I posted, the second-best scenario.
