The government has decided to establish a special forum that will deal with threats posed by international Jihad organizations to Israelis, in the country and abroad, Army Radio reported Thursday.The Defense Ministry's Anti-Terror Bureau chief is expected to head the forum, which will have members from the Mossad, Shin Bet, IDF and other relevant security apparatuses.
The forum will convene at least once every two months, according to the number of threats, with the goal of assisting the collaboration of all the security forces in face of the growing warnings.
The security cabinet ministers approved the forum's establishment in the hopes that institutionalization of the cooperation and coordination between security and intelligence apparatuses would improve Israel's management of the global Jihad threat....

Israel and the West need to face the fact that the problem is islam and that jihad is one of its symptoms.
The "global jihad threat" cannot be discussed without discussing the most obvious point: adherents of Islam are inculcated with the idea that the division of humanity that counts, and counts forever, is that between Believer and Infidel, Muslim and non-Muslim. Between the two land areas, Dar al-Islam where Islam dominates and Muslims rule, and Dar al-Harb, where non-Muslims still dominate, there can only a state of permanent war, if not necessarily open warfare. It is the duty of Muslims to engage in a "struggle' or Jihad to make sure that Islam spreads, and then comes to dominate, everwhere. And the continued existence of Infidel nation-states, while always and everywhere to be combatted, is particularly troubling when those nation-states exist on land that was once possessed, however long or short a time ago, by Muslims. And in that correct understanding of things, it should be clear, clear not only to those directly involved in this Global Jihad Forum, but to all those whose task it is to instruct and protect the people of Israel, that given the immutable texts and tenets of Islam, any further surrenders of land, or any other attempts to win some kind of lessening of Arab Muslim hostility, will necessarily have the opposite effect, will in fact whet rather than sate Arab and Muslim appetites.
Once this is grasped by a sufficient number of Israelis, perhaps they can go on to start educating others, including all those susceptible of learning things rightly after having based policies on understandings that were so wrong. There are those who are not hopeless and who are amenable to such education, or self-education. The careerists in the American government who have made their careers out of "peace-processing" necessarily based on an ignorance, by this point a wilful and scandalous ignorance, of Islam, are not among those, one suspects, who are educable. Their minds were made up a long time ago, and they don't dare reconsider how much of their effort has been so foolish and even dangerous.
Every little bit helps. But it looks like the world is trying to force Israel into a position where they have to "trust" Ahmadinejad not to inflict harm on Israelis, something that happens almost daily by Ahmadnut's friends. How Israel deals with Iran is the real question.

Together, they embarked on a frenzy of sadistic torture, mutilation and murder of Serb civilians that was too much even for some Nazi Germans. And the Italian Fascist troops actually turned on the Croats, their fellow Catholics, and shot quite a number of them, saving the lives of thousands of Serbs, Jews and Gypsies. Even the Italian Fascists were so uncomparable better than the US military and the militaries of other Western democracies who helped Croat, Bosnian and Albanian Nazis to finish their job on the Serbs much more recently. Anti-Semitism did not exist in Italy even during Fascism. Which brings me to Gianfranco Fini, a true hero of the Western civilization in this era of cowardice. He is the leader of Italy's National Alliance, the successor to the Fascist party. Even though the Italian Fascists were not guilty of Holocaust, he publicly apologized to the Jewish people for the Fascist past. He then led mass demonstrations in support of Israel. Beautiful! He is a Gentile Zionist without calling himself one. Zionism is the litmus test. It will separate heroes such as Italy's National Alliance from toxic waste such as Le Pen. Those Fascist groups who are decent should rename themselves Zionist Resistance, and then we can unite with them under the Blue Star, the guiding star for us all. Israel is, indeed, the guiding light for the Western civilization, and we should follow it for our salvation. Another litmus test is Serbia. This article gives me hope that I didn't have before that israel even had a clue about its enemies. And I say that due to them continually signing treaties thinking they will last, continually handing over hundreds of jihadists and also considering handing over more land. Peace, as we know it, is not an option with muslims and the sooner we understand that the sooner the we begin to take appropriate actions to stop this eternal war.

The first thing that came to my mind was: Would officials of the U.S. State Department or Defense Department even be allowed to attend given the politically incorrect title (Forum on Global Jihad), and not, as the Bush, Rice, Cheney troika would prefer, a "Global Forum on Extremism". Of course no one from this administration would be allowed to go. This is the additional damage done by insisting that the only lexicon allowed to be used is that one set forth by Bush's State Department. Why would the U.S. encourage participation in this forum when they deny jihad is an actual threat?
This is so discouraging because I wonder sometimes about the progress that could be made if even only a handful influential career state department officials truly understood The Matter at Hand and began to share that understanding with the powers that be.

You and I agree on this. Islam is gaining ground in every corner of the world while the U.S. stands by and even embraces this change. But I think that the U.S. will defend Israel if a war starts between Israel and Islamics.
