Israeli MK to host 30-nation anti-jihad convention

According to some reports, he may even show Fitna. If every Western government had done something like this, things would be very, very different today.

"MK Eldad to Host 30 Nation Anti-Jihad Convention," from Israel National News, September 3:

(IsraelNN.com) Knesset Member Arieh Eldad (National Union-National Religious Party) announced Wednesday that he will be hosting a convention in Jerusalem under the banner, "Standing Up to Jihad."

The right-wing MK told reporters Wednesday morning that the anti-jihad conference will be held in December and will be attended by some 30 European lawmakers from Denmark, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland and Britain.

"There are 60 million Muslim immigrants in Europe, and they have not necessarily come there to be assimilated into society, but rather to resist it from the inside. The feeling in Europe is that the time has come to stop jihadist Islam, and this may be the last opportunity," he explained.

If they have any sense, they'll use guard dogs to protect the conference and serve pork rinds and ribs.

Oh wait, pork is forbidden for Jews too.

I got it, use trained guard pigs to keep out the rif raf.

"There are 60 million Muslim immigrants in Europe..."

Me thinks the figure is more like 20 million. Does he know something I don't?

I'd like to see someone there from the US...John Bolton or Rick Santorum perhaps.

I did not vote for NRP last election because they were not doing enough to oppose the suicidal policies of my gov't and were members of that awful gov't.

Maybe I'll reconsider next time if this guy and other MKs keep it up.

Kol hakavod lo!

"Aryeh Eldad"
-- from the article above

Aryeh Eldad, the son of Israel Eldad, who put out the endlessly interesting "Chronicles" -- essentially, the Old Testament put in newspaper form, that is certainly worth getting -- is one of the few people in Israeli public life, that is one of the few political or military or media figures in whose sobriety and good sense and steadiness one can have confidence. The late Samuel Katz, author of "Battleground," was one. There are others -- Moshe Arens and Menachem Milsom and Moshe Sharon come to mind, though from a great distance, and without making a point to investigate further, a foreigner is likely to make mistakes in sorting out Israeli figures -- but so very few. And why should this surprise? There are as few far-seeing leaders and intelligent, thoughtful journalists in Israel as anywhere else in the Western world, but the problem is that Israel-- until the threat to the rest of the West from Muslims becomes as acute as the threat to Israel -- has so much more at stake. But at least, soon enough, the rest of the West will catch up, and we can all share in the general misery at the insufficiency of our ruling elites, everywhere in the Western world.

And so it begins.

"Lawmakers from Denmark, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland and Britain".

For safety reasons they will probably not be spreading abroad the names of those who will be attending. But when those names do become known, perhaps during or after the actual meeting, if they are the names of serving politicians in those countries, then depending on how much courage and clarity they display, then jihadwatchers from those countries will know who to vote for, or at least, who to encourage.

I hope that as well as 'Fitna' they will be watching 'Islam: What the West Needs to Know'.

And during the lead up to that meeting, perhaps Israeli jihadwatchers can retrieve from the archives on this site, and circulate abroad, translated into Hebrew and Russian, the wise words of A Carlebach (in Ma'ariv 1955) concerning Islam and its effects upon persons and polities; and the wise words of people like Winston Churchill and John Quincy Adams, oft quoted on this site, concerning Islam.

How stupid can the Israelis be, they have been living for generations side by side with Islam. You'd think they know by now it is 'The Religion of Peace'.

If there are jihadwatchers from either Sue Myrick's or Peter King's district, please send them a notice of this conference. Perhaps they could find the time to go.

( Emailers from from outside congressional districts aren't given much attention or else I would send emails myself)

Will there be representatives from 30 different countries, as the headline implies, or a total of 30 representatives from the handful of countries listed, as the article implies?
