The bulldozer rampage in July has introduced a new variety of suicide attack for the jihadist seeking to "slay and be slain" for the Qur'an's promise of paradise (9:111). An Arab resident of east Jerusalem rammed his vehicle into a group of soldiers at a central Jerusalem thoroughfare late Monday night, wounding fifteen people, before being shot dead by an off-duty IDF officer, police and rescue officials said.
It was the third such attack in the city in as many months.
The attack took place at the city's Kikar Tzahal near Jaffa Gate. Two of the casualties were in moderate condition, the rest were lightly hurt.
The assailant, who was driving a BMW, crashed into a group of off-duty soldiers on the sidewalk, where his car came to a grinding halt.
Jerusalem police chief Aharon Franco said that the attacker was shot dead "within seconds" by an off-duty IDF officer who was touring the city with his unit.
He added that there was no intelligence information ahead of the attack, but noted that Jerusalem was under heavy security alert due to Ramadan.
The city's police chief said that the lone attacker was an Arab resident of east Jerusalem.
The pedestrians wounded in the attack were rushed to Jerusalem's Hadassah-University Hospital at Ein Kerem, Hadassah-University Hospital on Mount Scopus and the city's Sha'are Tzedek Hospital.
The attack comes after two back-to-back bulldozer attacks in Jerusalem in July which left three Israelis dead and dozens wounded.

Something like this happened before - not in Jerusalem, but in the USA, two years ago, on March 3 2006, when one Mohammed Reza Taheri-Azar decided to take 'revenge' for what he perceived as the Infidel-inflicted sufferings of Muslims abroad, and rented an SUV and drove it right into a crowd of Infidel students on the campus of the University of North Carolina.

An eyewitness of the attack at North Carolina Uni came to the jihadwatch comments floor and described the attack as follows:
"I was there on Friday [that's interesting - that it was a FRIDAY]. One of my two offices is located in Lenoir Hall a.k.a. the dining hall (In front of the Bookstore and across The Pit).
'He slowly drove his Cherokee on the south side of Lenoir Hall and turned left. His vehicle was idling and pointed towards the Pit.
'He then accelerated so quickly that he spun his back wheels and roared toward well over 500 to 1000 innocent students.
'He later calmly called 911 and stated his reasons for this "act of violence." Once he uttered his reason it became terrorism.
'His sole purpose was to "avenge the treatment of Muslims" kill and strike fear. That is terrorism as we know it today.
'If I drive my SUV through a crowded park because I see my wife embracing another man...that is a spontaneous act of violence.
' This was planned."

It is easy to dismiss the 'explanations' of a young man not getting the woman of his dreams and going Jihad. Personally, I BELIEVE them. I think Islam is so sexually retarded that these frustrated 'youths' consciously decide to go out 'in a blaze of Jihad glory' and on to Allah's great whorehouse in the sky. Of course, we in the West rule it 'insanity' because we haven't worked hard enough to 'understand' Islam.
Being able to return fire is a wonderful thing. Let's hope that the upholstery in that Bimmer did not get all bloody.

The main culprit in this attack is not the Mohamedan who carried it out, but the weak, corrupt, insane, dhimmi Israeli government that allows these Mohamedans to stay on the land, as a demonstration of its tolerance and multiculturalism to maintain trade and diplomatic relations with the U.S. and the Eurabian Union. It is the nature of snakes to bite, wasps --- to sting, and Mohamedans --- to wage jihad for Allah, so there is no reason to be angry when each of these creatures does exactly what it is supposed to do. Infidel anger, frustration and outrage should be directed, instead, at Israeli and Western "leaders" who allow Mohamedan presence on kuffar lands.

There are two reasons for that.
-The government can't call this jihad and still say that we have not been attacked since 9/11
-The press can't call it jihad because that requires an examination of Islamic doctrine and possibly even an acknowledgment of the religious basis for all of this violence and even an examination of the goals of the attackers. Israel's existence and "the plight of the Palestinians" aren't why we are being attacked but it's the reason they prefer to bring up. It's easier to show on the television screen.
