Jihadists threaten to poison Denmark's water supply

An Islamic extremist group has discussed on its website how to poison Denmark's water supplies in retaliation for Jyllands-Posten newspaper's publication of the Mohammed drawings.

If a few drawings that weren't seen by many Muslims for months can cause this reaction then think what we could do to Saudi Arabia in retaliation for 9/11. It's why I don't get the Saudis. They think things like this are okay!

I assume that were such an attack to be made, the Danish people would demand that as a matter of national security, the Muslims living in Denmark would be expelled. At this point, after all that has been said and done, if you continue to self- identify as a Muslim, it is perfectly reasonable for Infidels to assume that you know what Islam teaches, or rather inculcates, and that you agree with it, or at least are not about to do anything to prevent or denounce such teachings. And your mere presence in Infidel lands swells ranks, and the perceived power, of Muslims -- and that, itself, makes Islam more likely someday to dominate, and Muslims to rule, even if you yourself have no such intention.

Only those Muslims who have openly and willingly denounced the teachings of Islam about Infidels, without sly equivocation or the ambiguous use of such words as "innocents," or "defensive war," can conceivably be permitted to continue to live within Infidel lands, where the large-scale presence of Muslims has led to a situation that is far more unpleasant, expensive, and physically dangerous, for indigenous Infidels and, as well, for non-Muslim immigrants.

End of story. Any more attempts on the lives of Infidels has to be treated as an act of war, by Muslims on non-Muslims. In World War II the Allied bombers did not selectively bomb only full-fledged enthusiasts for the Nazis, but bombed German cities -- and Japanese ones, too -- into rubble, to defeat the enemy. It is the collective that counts in wartime, and we do not have to spend our time delicately distinguishing between this or that degree of support, by Muslims, for Jihad, violent or otherwise. We can make assumptions, and the first assumption is that those who claim that the Qur'an is the literal word of God mean it, and that those who claim that they are Muslims and therefore are taught that Muhammad is the Model of Conduct, the Perfect Man (uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil), do believe it, and so should be held to endorse his Hadith, endorse his life, including the mass-murder of the bound prisoners of the Banu Qurayza, the murders of Abu Akaf and Asma bint Marwan, the attack on the inoffensive farmers of the Khaybar Oasis for loot and women, and the marriage to little Aisha when she was nine. It is absurd to deny that Muslims believe what they are taught to believe, absurd to think that only those directly and immedidately caught in the act of participating in violent Jihad are the only promoters of Jihad, the only threat to the legal and political instiutions of Infidel nation-states, and ultimately, to the physical security of Infidels.

Gen. Curtis LeMay, Gen. MacArthur, Gen. Patton, and all the rest who fought WWII knew what they were doing. They won. In war, that means everything. As with the Nazis, the fight with Islam is a fight to the finish. Losing means death or slavery for all.

I have an anectode related to this.

About a year ago, I was working with a Palestinian man here in the US on a work vista as a software developer. One day at lunch, I noticed he was studying a textbook. I asked him what he was doing - he said he was taking a class at the local university. When I asked him what the class was, I was surprised when he replied that was taking two classes called 'Applied Groundwater Modeling' and 'Hydrogeology'.

I couldn't imagine why a 40-something software developer would be taking Hydrogeology and Applied Groundwater Modeling classes at night, instead of spending time with his family (he had 5 or 6 kids). Incredulous, I asked him why he was taking those classes, maybe a new software project? No, he replied. Then he shrugged and said something about being interested in the subject.

For several weeks, this gnawed at me. This man seemed very nice, very friendly, but the whole thing just didn't add up. Then I had a conversation with my sister, a hard-core liberal, who was going on about 9/11 being Bush's fault, specifically, she mentioned the terrorists enrolled at flight schools. "It should have been obvious that they were up to no good" she said.

That's when I had my "Emperor's new clothes' moment, and realized this Palestinian software developer taking applied groundwater classes was "obviously up to no good". But what to do? By this time we were no longer coworkers. All I could think of was to call Homeland Security, but they gave me the impression they were only concerned about immigration status, and immigration violations. End of story.

Every day I expect to hear about a major attack using water supplies, and I will think about my former co-worker, and this paradox. Do we really want to trust the government with an all-powerful police state, where any and every action can be scrutinized for some nefarious motive? How do we deal with situations like this?

Wouldn't a threat like this be just cause for the Dutch to round up, and deport every Muslim in Denmark? What an opportunity!

I would not give up after contacting just the TSA or Homeland Security. I would also contact the FBI, by hardcopy letter, and a few congressmen known to be sympathetic to the anti-jihad. Use hardcopy - it's a little bit harder to ignore.

Remember, not everyone in the federal government is a moron. You/we may just luck out. (Some members of the federal government are going to be combat veterans from the ongoing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. They are not likely to view islam sentimentally.)

Contingent Plan -

We, in the West, should publish a contingent plan - to be enacted in the event of a muslim attack upon the West's water supplies. This plan should be a serious study of how we might go about denying water to our desert-dwelling muslim friends in the Middle East. These people, for the most part, live in an extremely arid, hot region of the earth.

Denying them water, en masse, would certainly dessicate their minds if not concentrate them.

A denial-of-water attack upon a desert population would be devastating and politically-correct at the same time: non-nuclear, etc ... a Green attack.

Don't assume anything.
They talk of poisoning "Denmark's" water but there must be many systems that are independent of one another. There will be countless stories of "innocent Danes" (Suddenly they won't be Muslims. They'll be Danish citizens.) being punished for a crime they didn't commit. The soft-hearted will fall for it and insist that only "the perpetrators" be expelled. And if Muslims are expelled, what does that do to the EU? Muslims from all over Europe would be denied access to Denmark. Can it be done without violating treaties?
The people of Denmark might demand it but will their wishes be honored or is the EU the supreme law of the land?

I'll try that, thanks. Every time I wonder if I'm overreacting about this, I try to imagine all the people at the flight schools in Oklahoma, San Diego, Phoenix, Georgia, Florida, Germany, etc. who felt the same way when Saudi nationals enrolled for flight classes and were not interested in learning how to land.

It's not just the military. The civilian leadership didn't pull any punches, either. I'm reminded of the Japanese-Americans who were pulled out of the cities and sent to internment camps elsewhere in California or Arizona for the duration of the war.
This has been equated to the Jewish internment in Europe. Will Europeans be willing to take the hard step of removing millions of people from their territories without fearing the Nazi label? It can't be done overnight, or even in a week. It will take months. Are people willing to risk the violence that would surely occur once the deportations begin?
We (including Americans) are not willing to be ruthless, especially when there is a television camera nearby. How would WWII have ended if the pictures had been brought into our living rooms every night?

PMK, There in lies the whole problem. Our civilian leadership, right now, would not appoint real generals like LeMay, etc. The people, right now, would not stand for anything like you describe. The MSM, right now, would go crazy.

During WWI the people had a lot of common sense. They could easily visualize how bad the Nazis really were. They had a good sense of evil, something that has been lost in our current education process. They knew evil or danger when they would see it. It is possible that today people are not able to understand evil and danger anymore. I don't know.

I still believe that if the people get really scared, then they will get mad. Once they get mad, they will want some action. But I am not at all sure that our civilian leadership will properly respond to this anger. Worse still is the real possibility that our enemy will have a lethal first strike over the entire country. An article by James Zumwalt just published in the Washington Times makes this point.

you mention that the guy was 'Palestinian', i.e. 'Palestinian Arab' (and presumably, a Muslim).

He may not necessarily have had the USA in mind as a target. Do you know whether he intended to return 'home' to the Middle East, or whether he visited there regularly?

Israel has an extremely limited number of sources of water, and one of them is the aquifer underlying the Judean hills (which are, of course, presently occupied by, and under the control of, local Arab Muslim thugs).

Sure, if this aquifer (I think it's one system - not sure) were poisoned, the local Arab Muslims would suffer too - but jihadis don't care about that, Paradise is promised to those who "slay and are slain in the cause of allah".
