And then says, "I was only kidding!" Sheesh, where's your sense of humor, people?
"Bomb-making video of Al Qaeda terrorists bro hits internet," from ANI, September 8:
London, Sept 8 (ANI): A YouTube spoof video posted by the brother of an Al-Qaeda terrorist, in which he boasts how to make a bomb, is making rounds of internet circles. The video shows Musa Ahmet, 47, chillingly looking into the camera saying: Hi everybody. Im going to show you how to make a deadly bomb in two minutes.
Then he is shown fiddling with components out of view and finally holding up a sign with Deadly Bomb scribbled above a rough sketch of a device.
Musa is the brother of Atilla, 44, hook-handed cleric Abu Hamzas personal bodyguard who called himself the No 1 al-Qaeda in Europe.
After being jailed for six years and 11 months earlier this year, Atilla, according to cops, was urging young Muslims to kill.
Musa was once caught with his brother outside a Chinese restaurant in South London, but was later cleared in court of possessing a firearm.
But, families of 7/7 London terror attack victims have asked for the video to be taken off the website.
Im disgusted. Theres nothing funny about making bombs when they destroy lives. Hes got a sick sense of humour, British tabloid The Sun quoted Kim Beer, 50, mum of Kings Cross bomb victim Phil Beer, 22, of Borehamwood, Herts, as saying.
Later, Musa insisted that he made the joke film to hit back at police who wrongly arrested him.
I did it as a joke. Theres nothing behind it. Im against terrorism. If anybody is offended by it then I apologise and I will take it down, he said on the phone from his home in Eltham, South East London. (ANI)
Of course he doesn't think it is funny. Now a REAL BOMB going off in a crowd of innocent people, that'd have him laughing fow weeks.

So now we don't have a sense of humor?
Where was the Muslim sense of humor when a few Danish cartoonists made a joke?
Are people discussing the Undercover Mosque The Return broadcast? I haven't seen much coverage or comments.
Anyone? What's being said on the streets?

Oh, it was just a joke.
Why am I not laughing.
Yeah, moslems are known for their great sense of humor!
/oh yeah!
The fact of the matter is that he did it to provoke people, to wear down at the edges of tolerance. It's an old story, and one that a number of questionable ideologies use. Then, when caught out, he cries "joke! Just a joke!". And all the while, his brother is responsible for an actual act of terrorism.
Send him the same way as his brother.
Prophet Geoff
Geoff,
He did it to provoke people but is there a better way to handle it than by responding to the provocation? We're giving him what he wants.
Are people like him worth a second of our attention?
Would we help ourselves by just informing the authorities (this is a guy they might want to keep an eye on) or by refusing to patronize YouTube? If YouTube sees this as a joke, then why would you give them your business?
Muslims know they're getting under our skin. Why do we let them?
No one jokes about bombing anymore...
Joking about bombs can get you in a lot of trouble.
Try doing that at the ticket counter at the airport.
Or walk up to a police officer and tell him you have the urge to blow something up.
The people of Baghdad never joke about bombs.
Bombs are not funny. They were never meant to have jokes told about them. But some people have done it. It was/is a common thing for the US military guys to paint slogans and names on bombs.
I remember seeing a photo of a sailor on ship, standing next to a bomb with a famous porn stars name on it. Only a perverse sense of humor could conceive of that.
But the purpose of the bomb is to kill people, or at least destroy things valuable to someone.
It's really hard to make a joke out of that without sounding like a fool...
Borg,
You asked about 'Undercover Mosque' the return.
You can find a posting and some discussion in the comments if you go to the archives for September the 2nd.
I think discussion soon dried up as there was not much in the program that was new or surprising.
Also because Islam itself was spared any criticism and blame was pinned on the Wahabbis instead, that left little to say that hasn't been said already.
I made a comment that I thought was brilliant at the time but was actually not.
Never mind.
I suggest a comedy sketch interlude:

StephenA55 - I saw the posting here. I was wondering what the talk was on the street where it was broadcast. Talk in the real world.
Borg,
OK my mistake.
In the real world, or at least my bit of it, I seem to be the only one to want to talk about either of these documentaries and what they mean. I have to go easy or I'm aware of getting a reputation as a bit obsessive. But I do want to wake people up.

"Extremism in the defense of Liberty is no vice."
Tanstaafl,-
Who said that?
Apart from you, I mean.
A noble sentiment, which I will use to quell objections in future. Thanks.
StephenA55,
It was Barry Goldwater.
"I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue."
Barry Goldwater (1909 - 1998)
"Musa was once caught with his brother outside a Chinese restaurant in South London, but was later cleared in court of possessing a firearm."
Compare that with the 3 years in prison an English lad got, just for having a gun hidden under his bed. He never actually used it, nor was there any evidence he was going to. His dad reported him to the police to teach him a lesson. Instead of the bollocking he was expecting his son to receive, he was sent down for 3 years.
What can be funny in teaching making bombs? These moors have a very large sense of humour. They had a even bigger sense of humour when the caroons of mo(king of pedophiles and a dirty crook)appeared. Europe its time to act on these crooks, the entire religion is lunatic.
Just keep it in his hands and create a low intensity explosion so he can test for himself!!!!!
The Bible tells us that Jesus wept. Do any of the ahadith, the Qur'an, or the sira allege that Mo' Mad ever laughed? Somehow, I doubt it, but I could be wrong...
Making a movie teaching how to murder infidels is not funny. Getting killed for making the movie, now that's funny!
I have no problem with a Muslim who wants to blow himself to kill other looser Muslims - all power to him.
I do have a problem with many looser Muslims who are jelous of the Westerners whom thank God for giving them better life, better religion, better talent, better inteligense and the list goes on and on.
The loosers deserve to kill themselves for being loosers. After all they are good for nothing, absolutely nothing, nada, zilch, useless wasted life calling themselves Jihadists.
Let them eat bombs!
Abscedere - in my explorations of the jihadwatch/ dhimmiwatch archives here, I came across the following postings by a poster called 'metaxy' who had done a little research into Muslim attitudes on laughter.
First, from the ultimate party-pooper, the Ayatollah Khomeini:
"The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious."
-- Ayatollah Khomeini, quoted by Amir Taheri (Spirit of Allah, 1985) (which Khomeini said apparently during a rant on why music is bad).

Then, More on Islamic Puritanism and Laughter:
"The Muslim faith encourages laughter to the extent that it is a religion that seeks to achieve human well being. There is however a specific concern with "excessive laughter" since it "deadens the heart" spiritually. There is a marked intolerance of satire which may be considered and treated as blasphemy." -- Khaled Nusseibeh in the unintentionally uproariously titled "Is Laughter Banned in the Holy City?" (2000).
Then islam-qa.com has this advice about "excessive laughter":
“Our gatherings with friends and colleagues are filled with too much laughter, and it goes to extremes. This phenomenon is becoming ever more widespread. What is the solution?”
'In response, the solution to this problem has two aspects: theoretical and practical. The theoretical aspect may be further broken down into two points:
'Firstly, we should know how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) conducted himself when it came to laughter, and he is the best example in this as in all other things.
'It is reported in a saheeh hadeeth that his laughter was never more than a smile... According to another hadeeth, he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to remain silent for long periods, and laugh little...
'‘Aa’ishah, may Allaah be pleased with her, said: “I never saw the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) laughing so heartily that his back teeth showed..."
'According to a saheeh hadeeth, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not laugh too much, for excessive laughter kills the heart (i.e., spiritually).”...
'According to another report, he said: “… too much laughter corrupts the heart.” After knowing this, if a Muslim laughs to excess it is as if he is undertaking a journey that he knows will lead to his doom.
...
'...the [practical] problem which we are discussing here – excessive laughter – has a number of bad effects, including the following:
'It makes gatherings explode with guffaws and echo with raucous laughter.
'The believer’s heart is spiritually corrupted by too much laughter, and he opens his mouth too wide, instead of being serious and of sound character.
'It leads to daa’iyahs (Islamic workers) making people laugh as a means of winning them over and having an influence on them, or so they claim. What they do not realize is that people gather around them only for the sake of laughter, and they do not benefit from them at all.
...
'...the problem of excessive laughter, which can be dealt with in the following ways:
'Remembering death, the grave, the Last Day and its reckoning, the bridge over Hell (al-siraat), the Fire, and all the other terrors of the Hereafter.'
[another way to get serious and stop laughing excessively:]
'Thinking about the situation of the Muslims and how they are suffering because they have strayed from their religion... [and are] subject to the plots of international conspiracies. [!!! ha ha ha ha ha!!]

Thanks are due to 'metaxy' for digging up these gems and sharing them at jihadwatch.
