I have posted this before and it seems appropriate now. The usurpation of Jerusalem by the arabs goes back even to Nehemiah's day. Nehemiah led the reconstruction of the walls around Jerusalem after Artaxerxes allowed him to return to Israel from Persia to oversee the reconstruction of the walls.

Russian Navy ship sent to combat pirates

After the Somali jihadist pirates grabbed a Ukrainian ship with Russians among her crew, the Russians have sent a naval vessel to the area - presumably with a view to sending the jihadists to meet Davey Jones.

On August 6th, 2008, it was announced that a 440 foot Canadian frigate, the Ville de Quebec, would be dispatched to assist in escorting World Food Programme ships to ensure their safe arrival.

The ship, with a crew of about 250 left her home port of Halifax on July 17 to conduct operations in the Mediterranean, Black, and Adriatic Seas. So I guess she's off the Horn of Africa by now.
