Hindu and Sikh leaders have accused the BBC of pandering to Britain's Muslim community by making a disproportionate number of programmes on Islam at the expense of covering other Asian religions.A breakdown of programming from the BBC's Religion and Ethics department, seen by The Independent, reveals that since 2001, the BBC made 41 faith programmes on Islam, compared with just five on Hinduism and one on Sikhism.
Critics say the disproportionate amount of programming is part of an apparent bias within the BBC towards Islam since the attacks of 11 September 2001, which has placed an often uncomfortable media spotlight on Britain's Muslims.
Ashish Joshi, the chairman of the Network of Sikh Organisation's (NSO) media monitoring group, which obtained the numbers, said many Hindu and Sikh licence-fee payers felt cheated. "People in our communities are shocked," he said. "We are licence-fee payers and we want to know why this has happened. The bias towards Islam at the expense of Hindus and particularly Sikhs is overwhelming and appears to be a part of BBC policy."...
This is what we British Aboriginals have been saying for many many years and complaining about having to pay ridiculously high license fees. The sad thing is that they will be listened too which will only go to show that the white Abo is a second hand citizen in his own country. I have reached the point and I think I can speak for quite a few on my fellow abos where I have a cold bitter contempt for the mind dead P.C. Morons who run the BBC. And don't even ask me to comment on the pond life that flaunts its fantasies in Westminster.
Who can blame Hindus and Sikhs, not only for their anger at the bias of the Beeb, but for demanding the media refer to them by their confession, thereby hoping to disassociate themselves from the moniker of "Asians"...and the violence and intolerance of Islam.

The muslim population in Britain is following it's path to power. Dhimmi's are leading the way.
Dhimmi's in high places are Islams best friends. But they are still dhimmi's, and retain their status as filthy kufrs who will be dealt with later.
It is only a matter of time till the BBC dhimmi's will be out of their jobs, replaced by muslims.
'Replaced by Muslims', even the time honored and traditional careers loved by kufirs, cab driving, and janitorial, are already being taken over by muslims.

They have to attract attention somehow. If Sikhs and Hindus blow a few busses I am sure they will get more time on BBC explaining how their faith is great.

Isn't it the vast majority of native UK citizens whose hard earned tax dollars are being constantly spent to promote and propagandize the multicultural lie who should be outraged? As if the world needs more of the UK government promoting "Asian religions". The job they've done so far has been an utter catastrophe, and now these other groups clamor for more...
These shows aren't produced so much to cater to those newly arrived constituencies, nor are they produced to inculcate in those non-Western newcomers the Western traditions and values which permitted them to arrive and live comfortably within the West... These shows are largely produced to propagandize on behalf of those non-Westerners who left their myriad dysfunctional nations and cultures in order to live in the West, only to adhere to those same cultures once arriving. The producers, so convinced ot the rightness of their multicultural boondoggle wish to foist on their patrons a vast re-education program, to cram as much and as many non-Western values and mores down the unwashed Western throat until we choke. Have we not yet had enough of this rich tapestry crammed down our collective maw to the point of choking?
If all these "Asian religions" are so grand -- then why aren't tens upon tens of millions of native Westerners flocking to these "Asian" sewage dumps permanently? Oh -- that would be called "colonialism". Those Westerners, if they were to do so, would be accused spreading their religions and values (nevermind how well functioning or effective) and vilified. What is it called when millions upon millions of non-Westerners invade the West and insist on continuing to adhere and spread their various broken corrupt antique systems, ? Multiculturalism.

The Hindu and Sikh leaders need to start sueing hell out of the state for discrimination too. If the leaders can't lead, at least tie up their hands so they can't screw it up worse...faster.
There is a very simple thing we can do to prevent a future muslim takeover. We must make more kids than them and put a moratorium on muslim immigration to reset this unbalance. There is no other way!

Well I'm one of those poor voiceless abo's who refuses to pay the BBC licence fee and hasn't paid it EVER and never will.
I don't believe in state sponsored broadcasting in any way,shape or form.
If anyone requires advice on what to do to avoid payment let me know and i'll post it.
Although I wouldn't want to get the JW team in trouble with the BBC stasi.The recent scare tactics and appalling adverts(search youtube for BBC licence fee adverts) that have ran on the BBC threatening non-payers with all manner of merry hell is a scandal.
There were so many complaints that the BBC is having a "review" on it's policy of intimidation and coercion.
We'll take it from me there are ways around that despicable tax.

The "Asian" dept of the world service has long been taken over by muslims much to the chagrin of the hindu's,bhuddists and sikhs.
The BBC staff demographic is also grossly over represented with muslims.But we all know why.It's known in warfare as a pincer movement.
We do need to ally ourselves with other non-muslims and especially the sikhs who know how to deal with Islam and the Jihad...they've got form..as they say.
