Land-For-Peace will take care of this problem, eh?
"Ahmadinejad: Iran will support Hamas until collapse of Israel," from DPA, September 12 (thanks to Sr. Soph):
Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed Friday to keep supporting the Palestinian militant group Hamas until the collapse of Israel. The news network Khabar quoted Ahmadinejad as saying in a phone conversation with Hamas leader and deposed Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniya that Iran considered supporting the Palestinians its religious and national duty and would stay beside the Palestinian nation "until the big victory feast which is collapse of the Zionist regime."The Iranian president said that the continued Hamas resistance against Israel and the group's achievements would always be "a source of pride for all Muslims."
Iran does not acknowledge the sovereignty of Israel and vowed to support Hamas until what Ahmadinejad calls "deliverance from Zionists (Israel)."
I have no clue, what Mr. NutJob would do with a nuclear missile.
\sarc off
Given the support of Hamas among other Muslim leaders, why pick this nutjob to criticize?
Imam GWB told us that Islam is a 'RoP'.
The Muhammedan da'awa doctors and spinmeisters love it. This idiocy has now become a tradition:
"Terrorists hijacked the Muslim faith"
The rhetoric used against terrorism must be directed toward real terrorists and not toward the Islamic faith that their actions contradict. Associating the word "Islamic" with "terrorism" lumps in all Muslims. Our country's leadership should be wiser.
This 'misunderstanding' can be cured with a large dose of the usual remedy prescribed by the soldiers of Allah, because there is a 'great need for interfaith dialogue'-
read it and weep!

Sorry I forgot to post the link:
Here's the latest da'awa action from our Muhammedan friends who don't want us to look at what they're doing:
Record anti-terror petition will be brought to London
British Muslims will be asked to sign a record-breaking petition to denounce terrorism.
Volunteers for the Yeh Hum Naheen (This Is Not Us) campaign have collected more than 60 million signatures in Pakistan - often branded the home of Islamist terrorism - in less than two months.
It will be named in the Guinness Book of Records as the most signed petition ever.
Now organisers have set their sights on Britain's Muslims and are planning a Live Aidstyle concert.
The campaign is funded by Muslim philanthropists worried about the re-emergence of the Taliban. It is the brainchild of British entrepreneur Waseem Mahmood, who was awarded an OBE for setting up radio networks in war zones including Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq.
Mr Mahmood, 46, a former BBC journalist, is to approach Boris Johnson about bringing the campaign to London. He said: "Hopefully we will soon have volunteers with petitions on Brick Lane and other areas with lots of British Muslims. This is all vital in preventing another terror attack. If you start removing [terrorists'] support, you start to cut the supply line.
"I'm advocating a world anti-terrorism day in two to three years where we could hold concerts simultaneously - London could be a focal point. We are looking to approach City Hall. I think Boris would love the idea."

Sheik, come on, how cynical of you!
Why can't we defeat Islamic terrorism with, er, ah, ... petitions?
Two to three years?
Did the original LiveAid take that long to organize?
Now now.. this can't possibly be true..
I've been told over and over again, that Sunni and Shia groups do not get along, and don't support each other..
I like the idea of Israel pulling a 'Mission Impossible', and snatching that bugger Beasty Boy Ahmadinijad. Snatch that Ayatollah as well.
Put them in a cell with Manuel Noriega and let them play checkers, and eat stale cheeseburgers, without the burgers...Don't you just love a plan that comes together?
Mossad, take note. And all New York resisters of Jihad and Sharia.
According to FrontPage, Ahmadinejad will be coming to New York again (!!!) to the UN.
"Once again, in late September, the Islamic Regime’s president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is expected to attend the United Nations’ General Assembly in New York".
Seems to me that copies of Andrew Bostom's article "Genocidal Shiite Jew-Hatred" should be posted forthwith to the UN representatives of all non-Muslim countries, with a challenge: will you, or will you not, take a stand against that second Shoah which the Muslim world is openly preparing?
A team of readers could set up some folding chairs in Times Square, or outside the UN, and read aloud, in relays, slowly, deliberately and with expression, the entire Part One of Mr Bostom's 'Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism', all 200-odd pages of it. Have a Qur'an handy, bookmarked to every single Surah that contains clearly antisemitic Judeophobic verses; and a copy of A Guillaume's translation of the Sira, ditto; and pamphlets with copies of the most Judeophobic Hadith.
Read aloud Maimonides' Letter to the Jews of Yemen.
Read aloud Oriana Fallaci's brilliant piece written in 2002, just after the whole Jenin blood-libel. She called it 'On Jew-Hatred in Europe' - (Originally published in Italian in the Panorama magazine , April 17, 2002). It cries out to be declaimed, with its ringing repetition of the phrase "I find it shameful...".
You will find the text of the whole thing right here in the archives at Jihadwatch in the comments section under the article 'The Fallaci Code' -

just scroll down slowly, it was posted by m goldberg.
Copy it, print it off, give it to people. The references to Arafat are of course, now, historical - but none the worse for that, to remind us that Ahmadinejad is far from atypical.
It would be nice to have Ineedajob here, hosting a hate America party with all his friends at the UN. While Bush J-DAMS his House.
and they can serve the meal on the new Israeli glass made in iran....
Pulling a 'Mission Impossible,' duh_swami? It's called 'pulling an Israel.' Like, since they always get attacked by 5 or six different countries all at once, and they always end up humiliating them all, like in the 6 Day War, when they annihilated the Egyptian Air Force. Arabs can't handle that because they don't consider the Israelis to be worthy opponents. Just sons of apes and pigs.
I came across this on Reut Cohen's blog the other day and I thought it would be appropriate:
"The Egyptian, the Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greek and the Roman followed; and made a vast noise, and they are gone; other people have sprung up and held their torch high for a time, but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now, or have vanished. The Jew saw them all, beat them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmities of age, no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert and aggressive mind. All things are mortal but the Jew; all other forces pass, but he remains. What is the secret of his immortality?"
-Mark Twain
Israel will collapse when muslims become pigs!

jdamn - Am Yisrael chai!
You know, this theme turns up even today in 'popular culture'.
First example: my older daughter was recently in a production of the musical 'Rent' (a sort of loose modern remake of the story of La Boheme, but set in studio apartments in New York, with the starving young artists dying of AIDS instead of TB). As I watched it I began to see something strange. One of the main characters, the setting being New York, is Jewish - of course. 'Mark Cohen' (and note that Cohen indicates Aaronic descent). The action swirls around him - couples meeting, mating, dying, just like in ancient pagan Canaan! - but although he tries to be part of the fun (just as the Hebrews kept on being seduced by Canaanite fertility cults) he can't, he remains essentially alone - observing, recording, and outliving them all. His task is to pronounce both judgement and blessing.
Second - Peter Weir's eerie film of Joan Lindsay's 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'. Four people vanish on the mysterious rock; one person only , a girl named Irma, returns, miraculously alive, when she ought to be dead. It's very clear in the original novel that she is a 'Jewish princess'; and unlike the ethereal beauty Miranda, who is described as a 'Botticelli angel', and who floats off into the unknown, Irma's beauty is earthy and 'grounded'. Even more interestingly: the young man who goes to search for the girls when everyone has given up hope, and finds Miranda, is named...Michael - the name of the archangelic protector of Israel. Watch the film and watch the scene where Irma after her return is nearly lynched by her classmates - they are enraged at her for being alive, while the others are dead. If you see the film as a study of ways of imagining or trying to overcome or otherwise 'deal with' death, then one sees that the resurrection/ survival of Israel is like a rock flung through a window; it doesn't fit any of the standard paradigms, of Resignation or Sublimation.
Israel - the House of Israel - is hated and feared by The World, because it lives, it's alive! It's supposed to be Dead, and it lives!
I was struck by the multiple levels of irony involved in the fact that the young actor Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter 'the Boy Who Lived', in the films of Rowlings' series, is ...Jewish. His Jewishness - the reality of who the actor is - adds an almost unendurable depth of meaning to scenes such as the Chess Game and the conversation with Quirrell/ Voldemort (in the first film); the battle with the Basilisk, in the second film; the flight on the Hippogriff, in the third (the Flight of Desire); and the struggle with the possessing spirit of Voldemort, in the closing sequence of the fifth film.
In real life, the Jews are 'the People Who Live'.
And to back up Twain's observation, and my own remarks about the lynching scene in Joan Lindsay's novel and as filmed by Weir, I will share yet another passage from Carlson's "From Cairo to Damascus".
Carlson is conversing with a British journalist, in Israel, in 1948, just after the war.
'I spoke with a remarkably frank British journalist in Tel Aviv, who struck at the core of the alarm that Israel had induced among some persons. He was Walter Lucas, an English journalist.
'"The trouble with these Jews is that they are too earnest, too energetic", Lucas said. "I'm frightened of the thought that this world is a prophecy of the future".
'"Why are you frightened?" I asked.
'"Because I was born lazy. I inherited my laziness. I shudder at the thought of having to do things vigorously. I like discussing ideas. I'm old-fashioned, I admit. I'm an old man and a grandfather. More than that, I'm decadent - one of the few men who admit it. I like it. Decadence is comfortable. I'm horrified whenever I see these bustling females in shorts working in the kibbutzim,' he continued. "Women should be a decoration, they should add something to the beauty of life. Look at those husky women! Take them home, and you won't need a horse. They'll do the ploughing."
'"I've always admired you English for your gift with words," I said.
'Lucas didn't hear. "This is a new world, so much in contrast to the old it's horrifying [that seemed to be his favourite word.] "Thirty years ago this was a desert. Now look at it. It's the work of a handful of men driven by the urge to be creative. They have the enthusiasm of Boy Scouts. I don't like Boy Scouts. These people are too energetic. Thank God I won't live to see this new order in the world. I shall be dead then."
'"I think you're dead now," I said, laughing.
'Lucas gave me a blank stare, too lazy, I think, to laugh or kick me.
'I felt that Israel had gained the enmity of the Arab world not because it was Jewish (the Arabs had also violently opposed the Crusades) {note: here even Carlson for all his brilliance falls short, failing to realize the sacralised sources and historic root of Arab Muslim hatred for the Jews who were breaking free of the dhimmi mould - it would take Bat Yeor and Bostom years later to see *that* - dda} but because it was a segment of the West now gaining a permanent foothold in the East.
' Israel represented revolution. It represented an upheaval of a long-entrenched feudal order. It made the Moslem deeply and painfully feel his inadequacies, his backwardness, his sloth. Israel brought awakening. It brought creation. It brought the idea of democracy and of political and social ferment.
'The thought of change made the Arabs, *as well as those espousing the Arab cause* {my emphasis - nota bene - dda} quite frantic."
In fact, if one has read Joshua Berman's article 'God's Alliance With Man', or Tom Cahill's 'The Gifts of the Jews', one knows that Israel from the very beginning has represented Revolution. That it has been, from the beginning, the Burning Bush, which burns, but is not consumed.
Rosenzweig makes the same point in 'The Star of Redemption'.
It is people like that British journalist, Walter Lucas, who - spiritually dead - have always tried to destroy the House of Israel, this people who are too much alive for exquisitely refined aristocratic and imperial tastes to cope with.
Oops. Typo in the above. Read, in my 2:53 am posting, instead of "the young man who goes to search for the girls when everyone has given up hope, and finds Miranda, is named...Michael - the name of the archangelic protector of Israel", this:
"the young man who goes to search for the girls when everyone has given up hope, and finds Irma the Jewish girl alive and thus helps bring her back, is named...Michael - the name of the archangelic protector of Israel."
