SANA'A, Sep. 14 (Saba) - Chief of General Staff Ahmed Ali al-Ashwal has discussed with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Vickers the military cooperation between the two countries.During a meeting held in Sana'a, al-Ashwal and Vickers confirmed the importance of strengthening military relations between the two countries' armies, particularly in the field of combating terrorism and piracy and training Yemen's coastguard forces.
The U.S official Vickers praised the Yemeni government's efforts to track down al-Qaeda terrorists.
