Brooklyn: Litigious Muslim found with Al-Qaeda and chemical weapons material

He was well versed in the courtroom jihad, but apparently had plans to indulge in the more violent variety as well.

Meanwhile, how big a story do you think this will be? Will the news networks report that a Muslim in Brooklyn, New York was found with Al-Qaeda news clippings and material on chemical weapons? Will even the large news blogs that once seemed to care but have largely lost interest in jihad activity bestir themselves to take note of the fact that jihad is not all about Afghanistan and Iraq?

Somehow I doubt it.

"B'klyn 'Qaeda,': 'ID Thief' Eyed For Terror Clips," by Carolyn Salazar and Alex Ginsberg for the New York Post, October 5 (thanks to all who sent this in):

Authorities busting a suspected ID thief in Brooklyn stumbled upon a possible terrorist nest full of al Qaeda news clippings, chemical manuals and weapons literature, sources told The Post yesterday.

Cops made the disturbing find Thursday evening after a landlord found the photocopied IDs inside the apartment of a former tenant on Classon Avenue in Prospect Heights and dialed 311.

The tenant, Hisham Khaleel, 35, had been evicted.

Responding officers found 13 copied licenses, all of which appeared to belong to customers from the Vanderbilt YMCA on East 47th Street in Manhattan, where Khaleel worked briefly as an unarmed security guard.

They also found news clippings about al Qaeda, literature on chemical purchasing and processing, an owner's manual for a Beretta handgun, a reference guide for modern airplanes, a video on rifle-shooting fundamentals and a sniper's manual.

Cops also uncovered lab glassware catalogs and a book, "Hostile Planet: The Essential Guide to Surviving Natural Disasters, Pandemics and Terrorist Attacks."...

A 2005 lawsuit against the staffing company Metro One Loss Prevention Services alleged that he had been discriminated against on the basis of his Egyptian background when he was let go.

The suit was dismissed, as was a nearly identical claim against the US Postal Service, where Khaleel worked from 2001 to 2004.

To the growing list of occupations that it would make sense to prevent Muslims, for Infidel well-being, from filling -- such things as airline pilot, train engineer, school or regular bus driver, nuclear or chemical engineer, taxi-driver (especially near large parades or other gatherings) one must now add "unarmed security guard."

people should be fired for hiring him. doesn't anybody have common sense anymore?

i agree, hugh. some jobs are not meant for muslims, i would add doctor to the list. remember the british doctors?

Initally, I was going to add dentist, physician, nurse, medical assistant, meat processor etc. to Hugh's list. On second thought, it's difficult to identify a profession in which a muhammedan can be trusted.

Imagine that. A demopathic Muslim crying 'discrimination' when he's 100% guilty of everything he's been accused of and much more. What the hell is a Muslim doing working at the Young Men's Christian Association anyway? Like he could have possibly been there for any non-illicit purpose. If you wouldn't hire him at the JCC why on Earth would you hire him at the YMCA and put him in charge of protecting the lives and property of Christians? No Muslim should have any job that puts him in charge of the well-being of any individuals or property.

No Egyptian has ever been discriminated against in America. On the contrary, they are given undue and insane preference in job recruiting, in the criminal justice system, and in academic admissions, particularly given the fact that nobody educated in Egypt is a suitable hire for any job in America since they lack the equivalent of a Guatemalan 1st-grade education, even with an Egyptian PhD.

Well, Khaleel certainly has a lot of gall--suing a company that actually has "Loss Prevention" in its name, when one of his major objectives is to steal from their clients.

Makes you wonder what his career with the USPS was like. And--is it "halal" for a Muslim to work for the Young Men's *Christian* Association? I suppose it is, as long as you are stealing from the Infidels.

Also--when one thinks of stealing IDs in the US, one typically thinks either of credit fraud or creating fake IDs for illegal immigrants, mostly from Mexico and Latin America. Well, illegal and disturbing as these are, they might look almost innocent next to Khaleel's plans. Was he going to use these IDs to bring Jihadists into the country? This certainly seems most likely.

I'm glad that his landlord evicted him--I'm glad we're not so far gone that a tenant like this could resist eviction.

I recently read (not sure where, now) that in some Muslim countries, Muslim landlords prohibit Christian tenants from playing musical intruments in their properties. Maybe Western landlords should make it clear that they will not allow chemical weapons materiel or snipers manuals in their apartments. Might weed out a few Jihad renters.

As someone intimately familiar with the short-comings of the private security industry, I can tell you they don't care about who they hire, as long as they can put a warm body at a post.

They are shameless.

They will contract with customers for armed guards and then indeed put an armed guard on duty... with verbal orders to never draw their weapon, lest they be fired on the spot.

They will try to convince a 70 year old man who's recently had a heart attack that they really need him to man a remote post that has no means of communication... or lose his job altogether

In my view, private security management is more responsible for 9/11 than any group but the 19.
They publish flashy magazines in which one can read self-promoting silliness that does nothing to solve the problems they themselves create with their avarice.

They will not train their guards to do anything more than "observe and report"... which can be done by a dog with a note in his mouth.

They are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Here is a bit of insight...

Hold everything and wait for CAIR who will step in and say "this is nothing, the guy was learning as much as possible about Al Qaeda in a hope to secure YMCA against any Al Qaeda attack." Or "this is just a hobby of his, that does not make him a dangerous citizen."

Then CAIR will scold him privately "You idiot couldn't hide your stuff better? You are a pathetic operator, you let an average landlord discover your stuff and call the police on you? We are going to help you this time but make sure your mission is complete the next time before you are caught. Didn't you learn anything from our 19 heroes (19 hijackers of 911)? They were all caught after the mission was accomplished not before you idiot."
