Economy, healthcare, et. al. -- move over for the real decider: the question of "Islamophobia," and which candidate will go out of his way to condemn it. As with every debate, CAIR once again issued its famous "reminder" prior to yesterday's presidential debate.
"Muslim Group Asks Candidates to Reject Islamophobia in Debate," from News Unfiltered, October 15:
"We urge both Senator McCain and Senator Obama to use tonight's debate to speak out against anti-Muslim and anti-Arab stereotyping and bias in our society," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. "No candidate benefits by throwing swing voters like American Muslims and Arab-Americans under the campaign bus."
Ah, yes; thank you CAIR for underscoring that the real problem is the issue of having large numbers of Muslim voters in the US. (Nice trick of throwing the "Arab-Americans" in there, eh? Seeing as how they're all Muslims; NOT.)
Politicians will always pander to voting blocs; else they wouldn't be politicians, no? (They'd be statesmen if they spoke to principles, and we know none of those are on the horizon.)
The point is, there is great danger in the enlarging Muslim demographics in America, given Islamic antipathy toward democracy.
I'm currently reading Brad Thor's "The Last Patriot" and in it, there's an organization called FAIR (Foundation on American Islamic Relations), which sounds suspiciously like CAIR.
In the book, he calls it a "Saudi-funded...Islamist front...knee-jerk reactionaries who trotted out the dreaded Islamophobia slur...any time a Muslim was accused of anything...there was nothing 'American' about FAIR...They were an Islamic supremacist organization pure and simple who wanted to see the American government overthrown and replaced with an Islamic one governed by sharia law.
Thor has real examples in the book too--the flying imams, Muslims pulled over with pipe bombs in their trunk, Muslim surveilling fire stations, and the firing of the Defense Department's only advisor on Islamic Law and extremism.
I know it's a thriller and some people will not realize this actually happening, but I'm encouraged by the fact that this book was a number 1 best-seller. Maybe the word will get out....
Both candidates in last nights debate, came out strong in agreement in their castigation of Islamophobia. McCain shook his fist, and Obama stamped his foot shouting 'Islam is the 'Religion of Peace'. Spencers name was mentioned five times once by McCain the rest by Barack.
Both of them lauded CAIR for their work in combating Islamophobia and the many, many injustices done to Mohammadans by kufr Americans.
The audience gave them a five minute standing ovation.
CAIR's response was, 'We really love Obama, but McCains cool to'.
"No candidate benefits by throwing swing voters like American Muslims and Arab-Americans under the campaign bus."
And your claim to represent them is based on........?
The fact that CAIR stuck its big nose into the debate in itself speaks volumes. Muslims are hardly the largest special interest minority group in America so where were the others; the Jews, Hindus, Hispanics, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc? Did they ask for special mentions by the candidates to later be turned into demands for special treatment? Of course not, it was only the ubiquitous muslims, whining and lamenting their pitiful plight in America. If it's so damn bad here, why do they keep coming? If life is unbearable, why don't they return to their perfect islamic societies where corruption, graft, drug abuse, homosexuality, prostitution, crime and religious persecution do not exist. Why do they subject themselves to bigotry, discrimination, and unfairness in nasty America?
Muslims had it made before 9/11. There was little scrutiny of their activities, mosques, and agenda but 9/11 blew their cover and most Americans will never trust muslims or let their guard down again. Sometimes I am shocked by the depth and passion of my hatred for islam. But nothing so evil has ever touched my life or threatened everything I hold dear and I resent those who cannot or will not acknowledge it, afraid for those who are simply unaware of it, and terrified for the innocents who will needlessly suffer if we don't expose and stop the spread of this hideous plague.

The depth and passion of your hatred is understandable-I suspect that had you lived through WW2 you would have hated Nazism just as much and rightfully so. For me, today's menace that is Koranism is even more frightening than the menace of the 1940's because it is rapidly entrenching itself right here in the US.
I hear you, susanp. Loudly and clearly; probably because I feel exactly the same way.
So Spencer approve of bigotism which he claim falsely that he is against bigotism. many native born america they parent are america are becomeing muslim what does the bigot Spencer think of that.
My compliments to ALL who SEE, HEAR and SMELL the growing threat islam and islamofacism. Some here may be familiar with the tilt of my posts and I make NO apologies to anyone when I am condemning islam and the cancer that it is. Alot of my family escaped Germany as hitler and his nazi's were coming to power. Sadly, I will never know how many relatives I lost in the holocaust that these dogs of islam deny.My point is, as was mentioned earlier, islam IS the nazi threat of our times, right now! My grandfather warned of a threat to come before he passed away back in 1972.
He said it would rise from the cradle of civilization, out of the middle east. I was 19 and really did not believe him. I do now!
Suansp: I understand how you feel! cair is an evil institution that uses our own laws and rules against us to establish their cult of islam and try and cram it down our throats. The milk toast
pc correct, must get along and accomodate at all cost liberals and socialits are ripping the foundations of this country apart trying to create a new europe. Makes me very ill, islam and the islamofacists, who hide behind schools, children women and men and then cry their that
they are innocent of any wrongdoing as their muder their own daughters, in the name of islam and family honor. What do they know about honor? They cannot even live among themselves, let alone us, in the west and around the world.
Should obumma get elected, this country will be the laughing stock of the world, worse than it is now. Our military will be weakened horribly by obumma and his stooges. taxes will skyrocket and
the world will not be friendly to us they think we should suffer as the rest of the world has. Obumma, cair and their kind hate the USA that has been successful and POWERFUL. Their kind always do. I had better stop for now before I say something that I will truly regret. Praise GOD form men like Robert, Hugh and the others who literally put themselves in harms way to let us know the horrible truth that is islam and all that comes with it.

Why do you address "Spencer" and accuse him of bigotism (sic), whatever that is. I believe the word you're grasping for is "bigotry", which does not apply. You would know that if you understood its definition, which obviously you do not.
Mr. Spencer isn't a bigot and is not responsible for what posters say in their comments. Bigots are uninformed people whose prejudices are founded on stereotypes, ignorance, or arbitrary hatred. You won't find any bigots here, least of all Mr. Spencer. Bigots hate for no logical reason; there are hundreds of logical reasons to hate islam.
Spare us the "Americans are converting to islam in droves" fallacy. We know better. Only desperate, confused, or vulnerable people convert to islam and I would wager that 99% of them live to deeply regret it. There may be a few disturbed people who are so mentally distraught that they actually welcome the rigors and prohibitions of islam, people who don't want to think or make decisions and who cannot function without a stringent set of rules and rituals. They don't contribute to society in any meaningful way so you're welcome to them. They'll fit right in with islam's throngs of sociopaths and psychos.
Nihad Awad
Would anybody care the least bit if Nihad Awad, and CAIR, were thrown under the bus? Literally! He, and it, are simply, completely, an evil entity, and, along with the Koran, should be outlawed here in America (indeed, universally outlawd). Get out of my country, Nihad! You have NO right to live among civilized people. And, to Muslims who whin and complain at every opportunity (mostly of their making), and threaten, get on a bus to somewhere where you can enjoy your miseralbe lives together, which would be in the land(s) of allah (i.e., hell), wouldn't it.
Thrown under the bus, I guess that is this year's overworked metaphor. That's right, don't do any stereotyping. We are all equally good and freedom loving.
