Looking at Old Mo from a business point of view, he was a genious: He was laught at and ridiculed, because he couldn't teach humanity anything new. So he decided to turn against humanity. He made it his UPS (Unique Point of Sale): Islam is not about curbing the dark side of man, but encouraging it. Whoever doubts it, must be killed. Very efficient self evolving system. An elegant system. Any programmer could be proud of it.
In a rational world, it would be hacked though, e.g. defeated intellectually and militarily. But in the PC (politically correct) world, hacking is verboten.

And if you equal the PC (personal computer) world with the real PC (politically correct) world, I come to an eerie conclusion: Our rich, peaceful western societies are so deluded, they can't distiguish a real mortal enemy from a virtual one.

No Mohammadan can sit like that...There are more than one kind of yoga. The four basic types are, Hatha yoga as seen in photo, and practiced everywhere,

Karma yoga, of selfless works,

Bhakti, The yoga of adoration, and love,

Yana yoga, the yoga of wisdom.

Raja yoga the combination of all.

Then there are others like 'The yoga of the renunciation of the fruits of action'.

I think Malaysia is right.

Another proof of Islam straying away from positive humanity. The only road closed down down from civilisation ("there is a dark side of man but it has to be curbed")and rejected to the underground became the main highway of Islam ("There is a ark side of man but it has to be encouraged") - just to be "different" from the kafir.

As noted above, breathing is potentially fatwa-worthy, as are growing a beard, wearing a turban or equivalent, etc. Come to think of it, everything non-Muslim would appear to be susceptible to fatwas.

What is camel's urine the cure for?

Blow up infidels, mass murder non Muslims, destroy infidel churches, temples and synagogues, rape infidel women and kidnap infidel children is right up the alley for the criminal religion of Islam.

Al-Bukhari reported from Abu Qulaba from Anas (Radiya Allahu Anhu) that he said: "The climate of Madina did not suit some people who came from 'Ukul or 'Uraynah. So, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) ordered them to follow his shepherd, i.e. his camels, and drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So, they followed the shepherd, that is the camels and drank their milk and urine till their bodies became healthy. Then they killed the shepherd and took the camels away. When the news reached the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) he sent some people in their pursuit. When they were brought, he cut their hands and feet and their eyes were branded with heated iron bars and they were left in Al Harra till they died in that state. Abu Qulaba said: 'they reverted to disbelief after conversion to Islam, stole and killed. In fact, they fought Allah and His Messenger' .
There is evidence from this Hadith that the milk and urine of camels is a treatment for some diseases. This is mentioned expressly in the Hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas from the apostle of Allah that he said: "The milk and urine of camels is a cure for those who suffer from (stomach) "INDIGESTION" [ Ahmad ]."

Camels urine is threfore the cure for everything. It trumps every human concept of medicine because "Inshallah thought urine shall be blessed!"

However, when a story like this hits OneNewsNow or World Net Daily, the virulence of comments made by readers makes anything posted on JW/DW seem milquetoast.

I don’t get it. Some Catholic Trappists and Maryknollers practice yoga with no danger to their faith. Yoga can also be taught in a totally secular manner. This fatwa reeks of myopia.

Christ changed water into wine for his followers to drink. Mohammed advised his followers to drink water changed into camel's urine. I think this explains a lot.

But they managed to ban muslim school children from practicing indian classical dances (baratha natyam).

So what next? there will be the Halal Yoga coming to you. If they cant ban it, control it, put as much restrictions to it.

Many yoga regulars chant 'Omm' in a very gentle & benign manner, and anyone can look up the meaning of Omm.

I normally try to do an hour of fairly intense yoga daily but had recently been slacking off...thanks Muslims for the incentive to get back on schedule!

Om...Concentrating correctly on a long Om, vibrated in low tone, causes the internal dialogue
to turn off. (Other mantra's and techniques can do the same thing).

It is said, that 'God'(not Allah) is in the space between your thoughts, so if you can turn your thoughts (internal dialogue) off, you can experience God directly.

Christians, like the olde English, are notorious co-opters. We quash competitors where possible by bringing them into the fold, where at least the arguments are between family. Hence, old pagan customs such as the Christmas tree and the Easter eggs, and the various RC Saints that bear some resemblance to old Greek gods (not that the Saints are wholesale importation, but why not set up competition?)

In order to make yoga acceptable to most Christians, the same co-opting process needs to take place. Which may or may not be possible.

A similar point about Mohammad's "revelations" was made in Richard Bucke's 1990 book "Cosmic Consciousness," in which comparison is made against the revelations of other religious figures, both East and West (e.g., Buddha, Jesus, St. Paul), as well as other figures reporting to have undergone similar types of experience (Plotinus, Dante, William Blake, Walt Whitman). He even discusses examples of "lesser" types of revelation occurring in Moses, Isaiah, Socrates, Swedenborg, Spinoza, Emerson, Tennyson, Thoreau and Ramakrishna.

Of course, Muslims only recognize Mohammad's revelations as having any validity whatsoever, and they could very well kill you if you don't agree.
