Right--Islam is for human rights--as long as one's consideration of what constitutes "human rights violations" is being insufficiently reverent to the "Prophet" Mohammed.

Likewise, women have equal rights under Shari'ah law, and Islam condemns terrorism and the killing of innocents, and there is no compulsion in religion, and Islam is a religion of peace.

That is, as long as one accepts that a woman being considered worth half a man in courts of law, suffering forced marriage as young as nine, and being subject to beatings and honor killings is no bar to gender equality; and that George Bush is a bigger terrorist than Osama bin Laden; that no Infidel--especially a Jew--can be considered in any way innocent; that dhimmitude and the death penalty for apostacy do not represent bars to religious freedom; and that all that violence and murder and death in no way tarnish the sheen of the peace of Islam.

In other words, that War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength. Youtube has anti-Christian stuff, but I would not consider it against my human rights. I can ignore it or comment against it. The truth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not need to be protected like some baby.

If Muslims don't like people offending their religion then do things that are noble and make people like your religion.

Let me try to edumacate-ify him: "Human Rights" are rights held by ALL human beings, not just the hyper-sensitive Muslims of the world. In America, these rights include freedom of worship, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly... For each of us. For all of us. For any of us.

In the US, women are --surprise!!-- equal to men (oh, gasp, the horror!) Another real shockeroo -- we can criticize each other. We can mock each other's sincerest beliefs. Poor taste, yep, sorry to say. Offensive? Probably so. Liberals can call conservatives "spawn of the devil", and they do. Conservatives can say liberals "are plotting the downfall of civilization", and they do. And all of us together can say "Islam is incompatible with the West."
