"Judge Tanibu Abubakar sentenced Jamilu Samaila to a six-month prison term for having no job and also for associating with bad friends, which is an offence contrary to... sharia penal code," court clerk Tasiu Musa told AFP in a telephone interview."Tough love.""The convict was brought to court by his father Samaila Tahir who complained of his son's refusal to be engaged in any trade and refused to go to school," he said, adding that he asked the court to put him behind bars "for as long it deems fit."
Cited by the official News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the father told the court: "He is not listening... and he is bringing shame to my family.Now if this son was a daughter, the "shame" accusation could prove fatal.
"I am tired of his nefariuous deeds. Please put this boy in prison so that I can be free," Tanir pleaded with the court.Real tough love.The court also ordered that he be caned 30 times. The strokes were administered shortly after sentence was delivered, according to NAN.
Since the return of Nigeria to civil rule in 1999, a dozen predominantly Muslim states in the north have re-introduced a version of the Islamic Sharia legal system.
Muslims are like 12-year-olds and Sharia is like an evil, unreasonable parent. He's ot supposed to ever do an honest day's work if he's to emulate Muhammad, and if he can't take Jews and Christians as his friends, well he's left with Muslims, who are necessarily 'nefarious,' at least, if they actually abide by Sharia and fund terrorism with 2.5% of their income and pimp their daughters into incestuous Sharia sex slavery. Well, I've heard of one incident where someone asked who would rid him of a poet he didn't like... He didn't want to do the job, himself. I guess he had an image to maintain...
Those guys had better beware-they've set a dangerous precedent. At that rate the majority of the ummah's people will end up being caned. Judging from their Third World lifestyles, their constant protesting against some imagined slight and running off to the mosque all the time work seems to be an alien concept to much of these folk.

There is a story from Ahadith that tells of
Mohammad and his band of merry Mohammadans, riding along somewhere stopping at an oasis for a rest. Two of Mo's men saw a farmer working in a nearby field. They were military Mohammadans who never did an honest days work in their lives so they were curious as to what this laborer was doing. They went to where the farmer was working, 'laid down', and watched him. Soon, they got so tired watching the farmer labor, they fell asleep.
Mohammad noticed this, went over there, rudely woke up his men, kicked them around a little and gave em what for.
