In a normal times we would be judged by those who we associated ourselves with, this would therefore take out BO, but then it seems we are in another universe at the moment.If the tables would be turned around and McCain had similiar associations he would of never been allowed to run for office. I am retired now but I held a position as an engineering department manager with a major aerospace company. My position required access to highly classified programs. As such I held a top secret clearance with special background investigation. The president would require an even higher clearance.

Security clearances are NOT a right in any sense and are never automatically granted....even to the president. They are subject strictly to administrative decision which focuses on the individuals background activities and other items. Obama would never have received the level of clearance I had....he would have been denied a clearance considering his associations.

I wonder how he will be able to function as president without a security clearance? Oh...maybe it's possible he will be held to a more relaxed standard?

A DOD clearance is pretty easy to get. SSBI is much more involved. I work in aerospace and possess an SSBI. I agree, if Obama were, for instance, an engineer and was being submitted for a security clearance it would be a non-starter. Since he's already a U.S. senator I imagine he has some kind of clearance already simply by virtue of his office. I disagree though that a security clearance will not be automatically granted to the incoming president. I expect that when and if BHO wins they will automatically give him the key to the secret knock. We possess technologies and intelligence that can only be imagined.

When one accepts a clearance it comes with a great resposibility: a secret is forever. People go to jail for screwing up. Ref William Holden Bell. It's all in title 18 of the U.S. Code. If Obama shares classified info with his Islamofascist buddies he may find himself on charges of treason. I don't know if being POTUS would or could protect him from prosecution. And I don't just mean impeachment, I mean imprisonment.

Most poverty around the globe is not caused by lack of natural resources or the "oppression" of capitalism. It's caused by denying the logic and rewards of knowledge, free enterprise, and work. It's facilitated by lack of realistic education and endlessly studying meaningless books; whether it's Marx, Mao, or Mohammed. You'll notice the Little Red Book hasn't been a feature of China's economic expansion. There's no nuance to it, no special insight required, just some education, motivation, and common sense.

Most politicians are mainly hot air, so in that regard it's disheartening to watch such a talented politician stubbornly refuse to acknowledge reality, particularly when his life is such a clear argument against so many of his own points of view.

My fellow JW readers, some of these comments really sadden me. I, too, am disgusted by how most of the media unthinkingly worships Obama, and I absolutely agree that his links to Islamists are very worrying--and I consider myself a liberal!

However, the comments here that he does not celebrate Christmas, nor his nor his daughters' birthdays, that he doesn't have a dog for religious reasons, etc. are untrue--such allegations have been disproved again and again.

If I don't cast my vote for Obama next month, it will be for the many *legitimate* reasons we should look more critically at him, not because of these silly rumors about birthdays, dogs, etc. Please, let's keep the discourse level to the high standard set by Mr. Spencer, Hugh, et al.

I have come to the conclusion that the Aristocracy in Washington DC view the voting public as cattle for slaughter or sheep to be fleeced. These Godless men who for the most part claim to be members of some church are essentially Agnostics or Universalists (ie all religions are essentially the same and all religions spawn terrorists). They don’t care about God or Theology and this is the reason that since Obama went to that “Hate Whitey”, black racist Church where he heard for what was it, twenty years, the Message of “G*ddamn America!!”. What’s even more disturbing is that the voting public is totally ignoring that Obama listened to this sort of “hate speech” for all these years!! I'm sure feeling chills down my spine, especially at the terrifying thought of an Obama presidency and a super majority Democrat Senate. Can your mind fathom the irrevocable damage Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dobbs, Rangel, et al, those proud members of the Democratic Socialists of America, will do to our beloved country? How hard is it to get an official state copy of your birth certificate? People do it all the time, I have done it myself.

What is Obama covering up? There's increasing evidence that Barack was not 'Born in the USA', but Kenya. He had thirty days to respond to a lawsuit, he did not. According to the law, not responding is an admission of guilt.

Barack could clear this up immediately by producing a state certified birth certificate. Why has he not done this? Maybe he can't because none exists. The question was asked a long time ago, he has had plenty of time to confirm.

He is SO different. I'll admit that some of the characterizations of BHO go too far. And that's a shame, because there is more than enough to question about his past without calling him a Muslim (although there is much to examine even in this allegation). Can we please see a valid birth certificate?

There have been comments relating to Obama being granted top level security clearances. How can that happen when he won't share his personal information? I filled out a 48 page form to get an SSBI. It's been 20 years and my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I recall providing a notarized copy of my birth certificate as part of the process. I've been polygraphed too. It sickens me that Obama could bypass the process that I went through. His background would certainly prevent him from being granted access and yet without being briefed daily with top secret information he wouldn't be able to function as president. BTW, J2 briefings are blast to read.

Things are really bad now, it's going to get worse. We don't need a modern day Robin Hood, robbing the 'rich' to give to the poor.

There you have it. He currently is a Christian he was born Muslim. He has close ties to Islam and half of his family members (his father's side) are still Muslims.

Since Muslims in the US and around the world (1.5 billion Muslims) believe that a born Muslim is always a Muslim. They will be emboldened to think or to know that one of their own Muslim will be in the White House. 99.9% of Muslims in the US will vote for Obama. Even the blacks in the US will vote less than 95% or even less than 90% for Obama. Does the concept of 99.9% of Muslims voting for Obama tell you anything? There is no other group that would vote anywhere near 99% any individual. Not convinced yet? Where do you think Obama is getting more than ½ billion dollars ($0.5 billion) as contributions to his campaign when the country is broke? Think about that for a moment.

Obama knew all this and he did it by the book. Only one problem hunted Obama, his middle name, Hussein. Only Muslims use Hussein or Muhammad as a first name, middle name and/or last name. By the time Obama knew all this, it was too late to change it. Changing his name would raise more suspicions than keeping it as it is.

There you have it. He currently is a Christian he was born Muslim. He has close ties to Islam and half of his family members (his father's side) are still Muslims.

Since Muslims in the US and around the world (1.5 billion Muslims) believe that a born Muslim is always a Muslim. They will be emboldened to think or to know that one of their own Muslim will be in the White House. 99.9% of Muslims in the US will vote for Obama. Even the blacks in the US will vote less than 95% or even less than 90% for Obama. Does the concept of 99.9% of Muslims voting for Obama tell you anything? There is no other group that would vote anywhere near 99% for any individual. Not convinced yet? Where do you think Obama is getting more than $2 Billion Dollars ($2 Billion) in contributions to his campaign when the country is broke? Think about that for a moment.

So, does this mean after Obama is elected President, that the GOP or some Patriot American is going to file suits against the President...which will probably go up to and including the US Supreme Court?

Will the GOP now get revenge, on the slander, lies, smears, and ongoing Left Wing Jihad against President Bush for the past 8 years?

Gee, what can I do to help? If Obama is elected, I will be willing to stand on street corners and in malls and have people sign petitions to impeach Obama. Where do I sign up in advance?

And, finally, I keep getting emails and pictures of Obama's allegedly "fake" Hawaiian birth certificate (with no registration number and no birth records certificate stamp), along with information stating that there is "no record" of Obama's mother giving birth in any hospital in Hawaii during the years Obama was said to be born?

Is this a hoax or not? Where is the investigation in these allegations?

Ok, I said it before, and I'll say it again...and I'm sure this time people will not laugh at me for saying it:

Communists seek to achieve universal power. The rewards of position will allow them to live fabulous lives. They lever a select group of media outfits, and steer the mental universe of the collective. They will measure and control every aspect of life. Deviation from their ideals will be discouraged.
