Of course, what Musa Abu Zaid doesn't tell you is that "instability" will continue even after the "Palestinians" get a state, as is made clear by his own organization's insistence on the total destruction of Israel.
"Middle East: PNA, Without Own State Instability Will Remain," from ANSAmed, October 24 (thanks to Insubria):
(ANSAmed) - RENDE (COSENZA), OCTOBER 24 - The Palestinian people are "asking for a fair and total peace", which can only be reached "through the proclamation of a sovereign State, with Jerusalem as its capital and within the territory occupied in 1967. This is the basis for "peaceful coexistence with the Israeli people". Otherwise, "the region will encounter yet further problems and will remain a cause of instability in the world". These are the words of the Palestinian National Authority's Vice-Minister for Youth and Sport, Musa Abu Zaid, who was speaking today in Rende at the Euro-Mediterranean conference on the charity sector, which is linked to the 2008 Rexpò forum on social responsibility. "The Palestinian people", added the PNA's government representative, "have played an active and guiding role in the resistance of the occupation of Israel, acting in the love of liberty and independence. Consequently, they have paid a high price in terms of martyrs, wounded people, and those who have been arrested and expelled, just as they have suffered the destruction of economic, social and educational infrastructures, which has had a serious impact on the younger generations, in particular".
The younger generation, of course, has suffered most from the inculcation of the violent jihad ideology.
Well that is what they did to India and look at the results a failed state called Pakistan. Pakistan is a great threat to the world and whose citizens that enter the west bring the Islamic baggage of hate and violence. They come to the US but still support Pakistan and its Islamic Jihad.
No surprise here. It has been one of the main strategies of the islamists to get what they want - i.e. by issuing threats of violence, and by committing them.
There already is a "Palestinian" state. It's called Jordan.
Jerusalem as its capital
hmm the problem is that i has been the Jewish capital for 3 millennium
The Arab Muslim position has never varied and thus the deception du jour, in this case the old canard about a separate Palestinian state alongside Israel, should fool no one(though it does). This Arab Muslim position is that the Arabs get everything and the Jews get nothing. This stupid, selfish, unrealistic and childish demand is at the heart of all the senseless, useless tragedy from even before the Israeli state was created in 1948.
Israel makes up a tiny fraction of 1% of the Middle East. A hundred Israels could be put in Saudi Arabia alone and yet even a Jewish state the size of Vatican City would still be offensive and unacceptable to the bulk of the Arab and Muslim world. What a waste. Shame on Muslims (again).
They come to the US but still support Pakistan and its Islamic Jihad.

To add to your point, savsiv, Pakistanis in UK are already showing their true colors. Omar Sheikh was a Pakistani raised in UK, went on to wage jihad in Kashmir, fund 9/11 and behead Daniel Pearl.
Ofcourse, too late for Brits to do anything but suffer.

Agreed. As for Jerusalem being its capitol, forget it. Once Al Aqsa has been bulldozed, Islam will have no more claim to Al Quds. So Israel should just get on with their urban renewal project to transform Jerusalem into the jewel of the Middle East, as it would surely become were it not for the Muslims.
Islam is so good at appropriation -- both backwards and forwards-- it's appropriated Abraham and Moses and all the Jewish prophets, for G-d's sake! Not to mention Jesus, the divine figure of Christianity, -- then it spreads forward by Allah telling the Muslims that the whole world and all its fittings belongs to them anyway -- all they have to do it take it.... it's the The Blob, only bigger
Yasser Arafat was offered a state but turned it down.
What is this "unless we get a state" business?
Palestinians: if you want to set up your own state on land you already occupy then JUST DO IT!
Palestian pol: Unless we get a functioning brain, "instability" will continue.
