Misunderstanders of Islam at it again. No doubt the MSA's that are so upset about my college talks this week will soon set them straight about jihad and Islam.
"StL feds charge 14 in Palestinian fraud case," by Robert Patrick for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, October 14 (thanks to all who sent this in):
ST. LOUIS -- Federal prosecutors announced today the indictment of 14 people in a wide-ranging racketeering and fraud case in which money from criminal activities in the United States was being funnelled to the Palestinian territories.Since 2000, the organization has profited from bank fraud, the selling of stolen property and contraband cigarettes and conducting an unlicensed money transmitting business, federal prosecutors said.
U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway said the Hamed organization, led by Bassam Hamed, 33, may be responsible for $1.5 million in criminal activity. At least $250,000 has been tracked to have ended up in Palestinian "entities."
Although the FBI's joint terrorism task force was involved in the investigation, officials would not comment about whether terrorism was involved.
Defrauding non-Muslims in the USA, in order to finance violent jihad against Jews in the Middle East.
Robbery of every imaginable sort, undertaken in order to sustain a campaign of violence motivated by a genocidal hatred (see 'Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism' for the evidence of that hatred and its sources in the canonical texts of Islam).
This thing isn't a religion. It's a criminal organisation, through and through.
Just reading about this stuff makes me feel grubby.
It's amazing how easy it is to come up with money if you are an enterprising criminal.
At one time I was a security officer in a large well known dept store, where my prime duty was to observe, and apprehend shop lifters (you are being watched). Many drug addicts are adept at shoplifting, and make hundreds of dollars a day.
I know of an incident where two guys stole a rowboat from inside a store, while the store was open, and were busted when they came back to steal the oars.
The point is, I keep reading where various Mohammadans are sending large chunks of cash to terrorists, while I know honest people who can't raise their rent.
It's bad enough that America has its own long standing criminal population, but now we are 'importing criminals', from the south and east mostly...
This is a very strange and deadly way to
to run this country.
House cleaning is in order.
Stop all immigration, Mohammadan and otherwise from two to four years. Use that time to sweep out the criminals and other illegals. Then re-open immigration with very tight controls.
Don't hold your breath. Just protect yourself.
Support Tancredo's anti-Sharia legislation even if it's doomed to go down.
Since 2000, the organization has profited from bank fraud,...
since 2000? why?
Swami... right on. Sagacious words.
I grew up in the Feguson Florissant area in the 1960s before I left in 1972.
Incredible how things can deteriorate.
"Time I am, the destroyer of worlds, and I have come to engage all men." - Bhagavad-gita
But I'm with Swami, too. At this difficult time in our country we cannot be complacent or defeatist. Make note of what you perceive as needing attention and be prepared to push for it.
Let's make sure liberty doesn't perish on our watch - that's all that is required of us.
Stealing in the name of Allah. Nothing new. Deport them back to the Islamic Paradise of their choice.
Muslims come to America and use its own laws to sabotage the country. They engage in criminal activity overtly or covertly to finance terrorists organizations and preach hatred of America and other infidels. The cycle goes on while governments of various stripes are busy being PC. Are we infidels not digging our own graves? Time is here and now to say loudly that Muslims are scum. Call a spade a spade, nothing else. And, for heavens sake, stop all Muslim immigration to America. Rally to stop loudspeaker jibberish from mosques. In short, demoralize the Muslims completely. May be this will convey the message to the dimwits.
I put this into comments for this story on the Post-Dispatch website ( www.stltoday.com )

What we’re facing on the whole is a committed, organized, trans-national effort to fund the jihad through sources in the United States. You see, Islam the religio-political ideology, puts an obligation on all believers. The agenda states that believers must help the spread of Islamic dominance over the world by all means available. That includes combat, supplying money and material, through preaching & conversion and through demographic conquest. These are all dimensions of the same goal: for Islam to dominate world wide. A believer may justify any activity so long as it furthers the spread of the Islamic agenda. Ethics and the Golden Rule do not apply.
One local effort has been stopped as we see in the article.
From the story, legal representation has begun to put the latest local examples into a sympathetic light:
Some points to consider:
Hardworking guys are honest.
Hard working criminals are not honest.
Hard working believers do not have to be honest if the further the agenda.
They’ve surely made names for themselves now, but I doubt that they wanted the notoriety here, in the United States. Maybe among the members of the Palestinian ‘enitities’ that they funneled money to, but not here. Criminals involved in racketeering, fraud and illegal money transfers usually want to keep that on the down-low. But these fellows are not simply ordinary criminals. They are soldiers in the worldwide jihad -- not in combat, but in financial support of combat.
Other points to consider: as far as I know, Mexicans working in the United States send money to family members, not ‘entities’ as it’s so delicately put... They were “[…] enriching themselves and unspecified associates in the U.S. and transferring money to "entities" in the Palestinian territories[…]”
There is a big difference here.

Just wanted to let everybody know that the St Louis area, while it does seem to have a number of individuals in bed with radical Islam, also hosts a few of us who are actively seeking to raise awareness about the threat of Islamism and jihad. To that extent, my organization (the Conservative Leadership Association) is hosting Dr. Daniel Pipes on October 21st, 9PM CST.
He will be speaking in Lab Sciences 300, on the campus of Washington University. We've got seating for about 200 available, and free copies of Obsession for anybody there that wants one.
The title of his speech is "Vanquishing the Islamist Enemy and Helping the Moderate Muslim Ally." There will of course be a long Q&A period thereafter.
Please note, as with all of our events, it is FREE and open to ALL.
Caleb -
as well as handing out free copies of 'Obsession', why not go the whole hog?
Why not also hand out free copies of 'Fitna', 'Submission', 'Islam: What the West Needs to Know', leaflets entitled "John Quincy Adams and Winston Churchill on Jihad and Islam" (featuring the juiciest and most incisive quotes from both men), and printouts of the English translation of French schoolteacher Robert Redeker's coolly analytical and factual essay on Islam, all 1000 words of it, that attracted murderous death threats from Muslims and caused him to lose his job and flee into hiding, after it was published in 'Le Figaro'?
What with practically everyone now having computers, printers and CD burners, this sort of stuff can be churned out in the family home for nothing more than the price of paper, ink and blank disks. Move over the Gutenberg Revolution.
Dumbledoresarmy, there are a few reasons for just handing out Obsession:
1) Too much information turns people off. With the limited attention span of people, asking them to watch an hour long DVD is already alot.
2) We want to respect copyright laws. All of our events and handouts are licensed and paid for. To do what you suggested would require we cease doing that. And respect for intellectual property rights is critical to a free market, which is a central issue of conservative though (and we are the CLA after all).
3) We want to change our handouts over time. We do have several printed pamphlets we may choose to pass out. But we want to group like material for periods of time, and then change. This way, we can continue enlightening people without frontloading.
Point taken, Caleb.
