I have no doubt that this attack happened, but
the article calls the victim 'deceased' three times, and then says he died two hours later.

This can only happen in Islam...A miracle of sorts...Allah willing, and he apparently was...

You have a point. Toxteth, despite its local reputation, was never that bad if you knew your way about its streets. I remember a few of the Somali lads from back in the eighties and they were ok. These days, the place is hosting a newer generation of refugees from as far back as the nineties.

The lads from the Caribbean families, or even from the older, established Somali families, can't stand the new arrivals. And of course, most people from outside Toxteh can't stand any of them; including the Caribbean and Somali families who got the hell out of there 'cos they couldn't stand the crap coming from their own communities. They didn't wait around to cry about lack of community funding or ethnic disadvantage; they got out and bettered themselves.

Which is not to say that there aren't still good people down that neck of the South end. I feel sorry for them having to live among a bunch of barely civilised and barely educated refugees, though.

How shocking that the Guardian headline linked Islam with violence! Inayat Bunglawala and BMC have more work to do.

In Nashville, Tennessee, the city immigrant coordinator is called a warlord by many of the local somalis and they are frightened of him. From an on-line city journal:

There was nothing in the article to suggest an argument, or any sort of two-sided disagreement.

An accurate headline would have been something like "Muslim teenager murdered by by other muslims for drinking alchohol". Attacked and murdered. Period.

This is a favorite ploy of the media and other mohammedan apologists -- to present every exchange of hostilities with mohammedans as two-sided mututal affairs, when in point of fact there is a clear aggressor and defender. (And guess-who is the aggressor).

I seem to recall reading somewhere that Muslims are encouraged to take a hands-on approach to perceived infractions, and that if they are able to suppress or punish an Un-Islamic behaviour by personal, direct use of force, this is the preferred path; that 'peaceful' means, such as persuasion, are the fallback.

These young Muslim men in the streets of the UK, in their approach to the young man whom they accused of having drunk alcohol, seem to be acting exactly in accord with the Ayatollah Khomeini's reading of Islam, as per his Mohammed's Birthday 'sermon', 1981:

"The lives of people must be secured through punishment...You must put aside these childish sentimentalism. We believe that the accused essentially does not have to be tried. He or she must just be killed. Only their identity is to be established and then they should be killed.”

They appointed themselves as judge, jury and executioners.

And one may note that, from the report, it is unclear whether the young man that they *accused* of having drunk alcohol, had in fact done so, or not.

The prevalence of the use of false accusation of, for example, blasphemy, in places like Pakistan, in order to have a pretext to eliminate either a dhimmi or a fellow Muslim, makes one wonder.

It is bad enough for a young man to be killed as 'punishment' for drinking alcohol.

But what if the charge of drinking alcohol was, itself, false? The whole thing merely a pretext to kill someone that for some other reason they wanted to dispose of?

Imagine living in a society full of the most draconian anti-human rules - and even if you zealously, scrupulously keep every single one of them, you may still at any moment be falsely accused of an infraction by some psychopath with a grudge; and you will be lynched, and murdered, and ten to one no-one will even think to wonder whether the charge was true or false.

It's worse for the women than for the men; but this young man's story shows that the men, too, must live in fear.

Are we afraid to mention prayer? Don't we Christians remember how to pray? The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing! The Lord's Prayer has been memorized by all Christians and is as close as thought! Our country needs our prayers! The whole world needs our prayers!

"Commanding Right and Forbidding Wrong in Islam" by Cook is a good text on it. It's also a cornerstone of all cults in that disruption of the social norms, whether they be intolerable and disgusting, as in Islam, or not so bad but not quite right, as in AA, because 'wrongness' jacks with the milieu control, which is essential to all cults. If people don't abide by sharia to the letter then they have brought 'outside' norms into the cult, which is always unacceptable.

Answering Hugh Fitzgerald Part II

This is Part II—the malevolent part. In some ways my answer is similar to describing how we got into the financial mess we are in as a country. Then there is the third leg. I can’t even begin to tell you how it might work in the financial markets, but I believe there is a deliberate destabilization of our economy going on. And, a deliberate destabilization of our entire system of government. By whom? And, how does the importation of hundreds of thousands of immigrants from places like Somalia fit into the picture? Well here goes! If you were in college in the late 1960’s and early ’70’s you were a fortunate (and very wise) student to not have been manipulated into protesting the Vietnam War by propoganda from the likes of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and their supposed splinter group The Weather Underground (I say supposed because every movement to destablize requires a terrorist wing to help the movement look moderate). Ayers has worked within the educational system to continue to subvert the minds of students for decades and to train students to have grievances against our democratic form of government. It is an interview with a woman who worked within the educational establishment to train teachers to break the bonds between students and their own parents’ values. [Get your kids out of public schools!] You are probably now asking, O.K., so what about the Somalis? I came across this a week or so ago. It is a job description for a job with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The person needs to be bilingual in Somali or Amharic (Ethiopian language). It looks all the world to me like this person will be involved in union politics and the gathering of grievances. The Representatives will handle questions about membership/dues, employment benefits, collective bargaining agreements, problems at work, and union political & social activities. Sounds like a community organizer job. Yesterday, there was a small article in the Washington Times entitled, “Joe scared for America after meeting Obama.” Clear-headed (unclouded by a college education) Joe gets it, but my reason for mentioning this is that I want you to go to a link a commenter recommended. It is an interview with a former Soviet KGB defector and he tells how he was trained to destabilize a country. It is chilling. The gist of what he said is that Communists use the do-gooders to advance the destabilization and the do-gooders would be dispensed with later. The defector had worked in India to destablize that country and the reason the liberal do-gooders must be wiped out was that once they figured out they had been duped they would be very dangerous to Communism. I know this is getting long. Enter the Islamists. I’ve speculated previously why adherants to political (fundamental) Islam would align with Marxists. It didn’t make any sense to me to see International ANSWER, a Communist organization, being sponsored by groups like the Muslim America Society. Aren’t those Muslims angered by the atheists that make up most Communist groups? When Al-Queda fought the Soviets in Afghanistan, wasn’t that hatred for atheism the real driving force? To Obama and his circle of friends, beware. The Islamists are smarter than you. The real goal of Obama’s Muslim friends is the establishment of Shariah law in America, they are just using you to destablize our form of government. They will throw you, Communists and Socialists (and do-gooders!), away once you have served your purpose. They have had village Christmas shows, non-political clubs with less than 20 people and local giveaway papers "raided" before now. Last week a man, admittedly a BNP member, who ran a small mail order business from home put stickers on his packages saying “No more mosques”. I think it was in Urdu but an “Asian” postal worker saw them and complained they were offensive to him. He was lucky to be only fined £150 (about $300) and banned from using the post. However the police handled it he and his family are said to be in shock. The judge said his defence that he was a Methodist and would not be offended if someone put “No more Methodist Chapels” on his mail was “interesting”.

For those who have forgotten this

Faisal Wangita was part of a 40-strong gang that attacked Somalian Mahir Osman, 18, in Camden in January last year.

Osman died within a minute of the brutal attack, in which he was stabbed 20 times, attacked with baseball bats, bottles and hammers, punched and kicked.

Wangita had joined in the attack, kicking the victim on the ground. Blood was found on his trousers.

After a trial at the Old Bailey this year, Wangita, 25, was jailed for five years for conspiracy to wound with intent and violent disorder, but was cleared of murdering Osman.

The jury was not told he was Idi Amin's son because it was felt it would prejudice his case.

His parentage can be disclosed today following another trial and the trial of a 17-year-old youth for Mr Osman's murder.

It is estimated that up to 500,000 people disappeared during Idi Amin's brutal eight-year regime in Uganda, which featured in the film The Last King Of Scotland.

Amin's secret police force was notorious for torturing and killing Ugandans it believed to be political opponents.

The first police knew about Amin being his father was when it was announced in court by his counsel.

Eight defendants have been convicted of various offences in relation to the attack and three youths were given life sentences in May for murder.

The attack was captured on closed circuit TV cameras and played to the jury during Wangita’s trial at the Old Bailey.

Wangita claimed he was born in November 1981 in Saudi Arabia. But documents showed he was born in February 1983 in Uganda.

He arrived in England some time ago and lived with his mother in a number of London addresses.

The Amin family fled Uganda when Idi Amin was ousted by Tanzanian-backed Ugandan rebels in 1979.

They lived in exile in Saudi Arabia, where many of the family remain. The family was given a huge monthly allowance and in return Idi Amin was asked to remain silent and out of politics. It was a bargain he kept up to his death in 2003, aged 78.

He had 40 officially-recorded children from seven official wives, and nothing is known about Wangita's mother.

Wangita had previous criminal convictions for possessing an offensive weapon and fraud in November 2000, and in May 2002 for threatening behaviour - for which he was given a community rehabilitation order.

He also has convictions for theft and having an offensive weapon in 2006. A pre-sentencing hearing said he posed a "serious risk to the public".

But Wangita's lawyer David Spens QC said his previous convictions "don't establish any pattern of committing any offences of violence".

Judge Stephen Kramer said: "You were seen on the video to take part. You were seen to raise your left leg or foot and bring it down in the area of Mahir Osman on the ground in the road."

The lifting of an order banning the identification of Wangita as Amin's son came after a jury failed to reach a verdict on a 17-year-old youth charged with Mr Osman's murder.

At the teenager's trial, which ended last month, he was found guilty of conspiracy to wound with intent, conspiracy to possess weapons and violent disorder, but jurors could not agree on the allegation of murder.
