Back to business for Hamas: Barrage of rockets hit southern Israel

The election's over, so Hamas doesn't have to pretend to be interested in making peace anymore. But make no mistake: the poor lambs were provoked. How? The fiendish Zionists "entered Gaza in order to blow up a tunnel dug by Hamas terrorists for the purpose of kidnapping IDF soldiers." Horror of horrors! It's a good thing the era of "Jewish domination" is drawing to a close, eh?

Jihad against Israel resumes: "Attacks continue as rocket hits w. Negev," from the Jerusalem Post, November 5 (thanks to all who sent this in):

Kassam attacks from Gaza continued on Wednesday afternoon with a rocket landing between Sderot and the Sha'ar Hanegev region. No one was wounded and no damage was reported.

In total, some 40 Kassam rockets and mortar shells were fired since the IDF's counter-terror tunnel operation overnight Tuesday.

In what was the worst outbreak of violence since a shaky cease-fire took effect in June, two of the rockets hit Ashkelon, one landing near a school and sending six people into shock.

Seven IDF soldiers were wounded and six gunmen were reported killed in clashes, which erupted when IDF special forces entered Gaza in order to blow up a tunnel dug by Hamas terrorists for the purpose of kidnapping IDF soldiers....

Taher Nunu, a Hamas spokesman, said the group considered the air strikes a violation of the truce.

"This is a serious breach of the truce understandings reached through Egyptian mediation," he said in an e-mail message to reporters. "We consider this the most serious in a string of breaches."

Since the cease-fire went into effect in June, Hamas has dug an unknown number of tunnels to facilitate future attacks on Israel and to smuggle large quantities of weapons from Sinai. The tunnels are seen as central to Hamas's terrorist infrastructure in the Strip.

But the tunnels don't violate the truce. Only acting against the tunnels violates the truce. Got it?

Yes the usual MO of Islamic Jihadis against Israel, against India, against Thailand, against the Philippines and pretty much against the whole non Islamic world.

The jihad never ends.

Rockets to Sderot just keep coming and coming. One day, these rockets will get bigger and bigger and the world will not bat an eyelash.

How much is too much? I say that one Kassam rocket is too much.

Hey - enough a-holes voted for the big zero - this is not supposed to happen anymore - peace is supposed to break out.

Could it be that this guy is a liar ?

Maybe if the Israeli Occupation and encrochment and advancement of illegal settlements stopped and they defined an actual international border, finished their wall and got behind it, this wouldn't be a problem anymore.

Waht do yuo think?

Make peace, maintain peace.

or

Make war and accept responsibility for what follows.

It's interesting how you preface your statement with 'Maybe', so that in case the scenario of peace that you envision doesn't materialize, you'll still have that veneer of deniability, while the Jews living in vacated areas have to go through the same turmoil as those in Sderot.

You actually think that the Mohammedans in the area would actually recognize any Israel, including one that retreated into its 1948 borders? That's neither what the Fatah nor Hamas charters say. In fact, Hamas has in its charter that hadith about the trees and stones (except the Gharkad) calling out to the Mohammedans and telling them that there's a Jew behind it, come and kill it.

You need to spread your taquiyya elsewhere, like LGF, Islamist-Watch, Esmay, anywhere else - places where people will believe you, and you can be more effective

Abdullah Mikail -

The reason the Israelis are buliding a wall is because of this guy -

I hope he never gets angry with us weak infidels! He might tear our coins in half!

For Israel, in this time of deepening darkness, and for the Jews throughout the world:

Another version of the same passage (Part II of the Chichester Psalms) – at La Scala.

And since it's La Scala, let's remember Magdi Cristiano Allam's 'Viva Israele' and Oriana Fallaci's magnificent 'I stand with Israel, I stand with the Jews'.

"one landing near a school and sending six people into shock."

OMG!! Will the Israeli's PLEASE stop making themselves sound like the stereotypical weakling Jew!?!?
