D.C. Watson: Jihadists In America: Their “Inner Struggle” Goes On

D.C. Watson updates his "Misunderstanders of Islam" list:

While the professional protesters masquerading as moderate Islamic lobby groups continue to cry out in anguish as a result of the rabid, (and invented) “Islamophobia” epidemic they claim is sweeping across America and most other Western nations, more misunderstanders of their peaceful and tolerant faith continue to make their way onto this running, yet incomplete slate of Muslims in the United States who have conspired to, or managed to carry out, their “jihad,” and have either been arrested, convicted, are on the run, or are deceased.

It would benefit this nation if American politicians and the American mainstream press considered the well-being of the American people who elect them to office, and who read, watch, and listen to their media product, instead of giving credibility to bullies who have taken over America’s Islamic community and appointed themselves its leaders, and who have made it a common practice to condemn not those who want to see the United States destroyed, but instead to condemn Americans who step up to the plate and confront Islamic jihadists and their supporters.

Thus far, in this arena, politicians and news sources have been a disgrace. The American public deserves better, much better.

It would also benefit this nation if the press and politicians obtained the perspective of Muslims living in the United States who are not associated with organizations such as the Council on American Islamic Relations, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, or the Islamic Society of North America.

Politicians and the media HAVE been a disgrace.

BUT SO HAVE AMERICAN VOTERS!

Voters allowed this to happen. Voters nominated people who won't support America - in both parties. Voters reelected those who call them rednecks or racists. Voters are getting what they asked for.

D.C. Watson, you missed one: James Yee, Muslim chaplain, delegate for Obama.

http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/022373.php

One keeps wondering when America will wake up from its great slumber when it comes to Islam, because the greatest threat facing the United States today is its own ignorance about Islam. Americans are good people; they are sympathetic people; they are giving people; they like to see the goodness in human beings and for that, they unconsciously refuse to believe that in a faith such as Islam that teachings can make wild animals out of its believers.

The undermining threat of Islam is fully on display in EU countries for all to see in America. Threats abound everyday openly in Britain, a country that demonstrates its achilles heel everyday in its outrageous attachments to the perversion of multiculturalism. The Dutch thought to be such great stalwart defenders of land from the sea are failing to recognize the threat of Islam which is worse than the power of the North Sea that they worked so hard to protect and hold their land from. In the democratic and mostly Catholic country of the Philippines they have been fighting against Islamists called the Moro Islamic Liberation Front for decades in Western Mindanao though the country is burdened with numerous thick jungled islands that have made it difficult to deal with these Islamists. There are 100 countries that struggle to deal with the Islamic threat everyday on this planet, the others are already under its suppressive thumb.

Until citizens of the United States understand the threat of Islam to its society and on its own soil -- people will continue to die in sporadic attacks. Until there is a true understanding of this faith and a means to control it, we, along with other people will continue to die as a result of its teachings. The threat of Islam is real. Until the United States understands that all violent Islamic fundamentalist groups, including al-Qaeda and Hezbollah and others are true Muslims and wish to kill or subjugate all non-believers, we will continue to be at their mercy.

You can't reason with people blinded by hate. You can't argue with people blinded by the Islamic faith. Islam hates the power of the individual. Islam hates the achievements of women. Islam hates progress. Islam hates the religious freedom of others. Islam hates the pre-Islamic heritage of other nations. Islam hates the light of truth. Islam is against free-will and hates democracy, liberty and justice for all. Islam simply loves to eat you alive. That is what Islam does and that is what Islam is. To worship such teachings is to defile the sanctity of the human spirit

Call me an Islamophobe if you wish but the myth of Islam as a religion of peace heard on the lips of President Bush,Condeleeza Rice and many others who have a solemn duty to understand this threat from inside and out never cease to amaze me.

We cater to the Saudis who are spending billions of dollars in oil money to build mosques with Wahhabist influences ,undermine Universities with generous grants, and the Muslim Students Assoc. are influenced and supported by the Muslim Brotherhood.

At least one thing we can surely give the Bush administration credit for is its dogged determination to preserve the Patriot Act that once again may be under greater attack as we meet the challenges for protecting America with a liberal president and a much more dominate democratic house and senate.

No, Islam has not been hijacked by the Islamic militants. The cult of Islam has hijacked humanity for almost 14 centuries. Until we digest this and do something to circumvent the trend, our risk and exposure grows greater in between each and every attack on our American Sovereignty.

Yet I don't see any large outcry from America's islamic community pointing out that these jihadist front groups do not represent them.

I don't think the whole "inner struggle" should be kept free from criticism. This supposed jihad is a directive to imprison your own mind, and make certain that it stays subservient.

To quote Bob Marley, "Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds."

KrazyKafir, good point. Some of them have protested the Council on American Islamic Relations. http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2003/07/

And others, like Khalid Duran, have been vilified by the CAIR organization.

Many of them have been intimidated.

We've been calling for them to stand up and evict these groups for years. Hasn't happened yet.

sorry bout that.

I have seen a number of brave souls stand up only to look behind themselves, and see nobody else standing. I can understand that in saudi arabia, but not America.

Like I said, We've been calling for them to stand up and evict these groups for years. It doesn't look like that's going to happen. The bottom line is that more names keep getting added to this list, and the newspapers, radio stations, and television networks have been providing the Islamist organizations a platform they do not deserve.

this list just keeps growing and growing. the council on islamic relations has a few names on it and has bloody vouched for others who have their names on this list. they should be forced out of business.

Hi Big Guy:

You are to be commended for keeping that list growing as you have over the years. It certainly is, and should become a very helpful reference tool; not only to the general public but also to government officials, law enforcement,Etc. when they want to gather some quick references as well as developing leads to other connections these people would have had in the past or future.

DC--- keep up the great work you are doing on your informative site-- http://www.watson37.com/

Though agencies are sharing information since 9-11 on these perpetrators it still helps to refer to various articles regarding their actions, especially if a sharp investigator spots former patterns of activities in new investigations.

Though President Bush has shown quit some naivete when trying to understand Islam, no one expected that he would be subjected to a challenge such as 9-11 -- 7 months into his watch.

The President has doubled the FBI,demanded the full strength of the Patriot Act against an adversarial Democratic party who tried to continuously crush his efforts to protect this country,he has brought all law enforcement agencies to the table with shared information, and much more while fighting a war on two fronts, let alone the threat of Islamic terrorism throughout the World. Unfortunately this preoccupation has weakened his domestic governing especially since the democrats spent most of their time trying to crush his Presidency than work on issues that were most important to Americans.

Thank you DC...

God, that's quite a list--thank you for all the hard work in compiling it. It is of note that 27 of the terrorists sport some version of the name "Mohammed".

A rather significant omission--Oakland's Your Black Muslim Bakery organization, a spinoff of the Nation of Islam.

Yusef Bey ran this organization--much larger than the term "bakery" would imply--as his personal fiefdom for over forty years--it was then taken over by one of his sons, Yusef Bey IV. During that period, the group was responsible for the organized rapes of underage girls (often foster children of Bey's multiple wives), a host of smaller crimes, including fraud, real-estate fraud, and tax fraud, and torture, kidnapping, extortion, threats, and at least eight murders, including "apostates" from the group, other group members in a series of power-struggles, and the Mafia-style assassination of journalist Chauncey Bailey, who was investigating the bakery at the time.

It is this last atrocity which finally shut the bakery down. One of the most shocking aspects of this case is that the bakery operated for years, not only with very little scrutiny, but was actively embraced by city and state officials, community groups, and the press as a great example of African-American self reliance, and a model of community activism.

The bakery had links to the State of California Foster Care System, the City of Oakland, City of Richmond, Oakland International Airport, the Oakland Coliseum (where the Raiders, A's, and Warriors play), Oakland Unified School District, and Marriot Hotels, and many others. A spinoff company--providing *security*, of all things--is still associated with these last two entities.

During most of this time, it was considered politically incorrect to criticize the group in any way, although troubling allegations came up from time to time.

Yusef Bey was on trial for the organized rape of underage girls when he died of cancer in 2003. It was found that he had fathered children from girls as young as thirteen. One of the most disturbing aspects of this case was that most of these children were foster care kids, who had been placed with various Bey wives. Other kids who had been given jobs with the bakery also reported sexual abuse. One of the most hideous aspects of this case was that the girls reported being told to keep quiet, or Bey would *kill their own children*--the very ones he had fathered.

It is quite likely that he raped children younger than thirteen--the case had only gotten as far as DNA testing on the girls' children (it is rare for girls under about thirteen years old to conceive).

The case was dropped after Bey's death, even though it was clear that many other bakery members were involved in the abuse.

After Bey's death, a vicious power struggle broke out over control of the bakery's assets, leading to several murders. Yusef Bey IV seems to have grabbed control of the organization.

He was directly involved in the kidnapping and torture of two women, in an attempt to extort money from them. He was being investigated for this crime when he decided to take down local journalist Chauncy Bailey, editor of the Oakland Post, who was writing an expose on the bakery.

Bailey was gunned down while walking from his home to the Post's offices, just after he had had breakfast. The assassin clearly knew his route.

Yusef Bey's car, fitted by Oakland police with a tracking device as part of the investigation over the kidnap and torture case, was outside Bailey's apartment the night before, then at the crime scene for a full fifteen minutes, arriving moments after the shooting. Unfortunately, the police knew nothing of the plot against Bailey, or they might have been able to save him.

Unfortunately, it seems that even after all this the bakery still has influential ties to the community. The lead detective on the Bailey case did not record Bey's first conversation with the main suspect, Devaughndre Broussard, where they were--unbelievably--left alone together without supervision, *during* police interrogations. The lead detective is known to consider Bey a friend.

During subsequent recorded conversation, Bey is heard laughing about Bailey's death throes, and urging Broussard to "be a good soldier" and confess.

The state attorney general, Jerry Brown (coincidentally Oakland's last mayor) considers the case so compromised that the state may take it over. Bailey was the first journalist to be murdered in the course of an investigative story in the United States in over thirty years.

The only decent thing to come out of this is the Chauncey Bailey project--instead of being cowed by Bailey's cold-blooded murder, local journalists on most area papers--usually rivals--have banded together to investigate his death. More and more ugly facts about the bakery keep coming out all the time.

It is often emphasized that the Nation of Islam is not mainstream Islam--and this group wasn't even mainstream NoI. But what strikes me is how much Bey's story resembles the "Prophet" Mohammed's, writ small. The same violence, targeting of "apostates"--those who either criticize or leave the group--the sexual abuse of under-age children, kidnapping and torturing people to extract money, the vicious power struggle after the founder's death, and, finally, the murder of anyone who dares to criticize.

Robert, I cannot thank you enough for all you do. The media and government put all news through the same filter while our elected officials continue to mouth absurdities like "Islam is peace". What planet are these people on? Do they have a spine, a brain, a heart, eyes to see? Can it get more obvious? I fear it will. All too obvious one of these days.
Imagine my disgust when I pick up a mainstream Jewish newspaper, The Jewish Week, and there I read a hit piece pretending to journalism, full of distortion and inuendo, condemning the film "Obsession" as "smearing Muslims". Like "Fitna", it gives only facts and the words of Muslims themselves. And like "Fitna" it is condemned without any tangible, factual arguments showing anything in the film to be untrue. It's all the worse coming from a Jewish newspaper, since Jews are targeted by the fanatics, and the Jewish Week should be helping to educate the community on the dangers posed by the worldwide Jihad movement.

Here is the link to the abonimable article by Sarah Posner:

The entire piece is presented as an "expose", and its tone is hostile, quoting from a useful idiot rabbi to give credibility to the hatchet job. All the usual inuendo is there, with no facts whatsoever to show that the film is untrue in any way.

Rather than alerting the Jewish community to the dangers of radical Islam THE JEWISH WEEK is covering up for the Islamists.

Please write a letter to the editor at THE JEWISH WEEK, or better, phone them to let them know how you feel about their attacks on people who are trying to alert us to the dangers of Isamofascism. Here is their contact info:

If you haven't yet seen "Obsession" I suggest you do so. It has new footage I've never seen before of Nazi-style propaganda in the Arab media that is absolutely chilling.

Rahman bin Rahman...maybe Robert could send the staff there a complimentary copy of 'Stealth Jihad' and ask them for a public critique, especially by Sarah Posner...Her evaluation would be interesting...It's really hard to duck, bob and weave through layers of facts...

On September 3, 2008, the Mapping Shariah Project (MSP) put out a press release revealing how CAIR
was “threatening Muslims” with $25,000 penalties,
if they were to reveal the “criminal fraud” that
was allegedly being committed by CAIR-MD/VA’s
Civil Rights Manager, Morris Jamil Days.
According to MSP, Days was falsely posing as
a civil rights attorney (which CAIR-MD/VA and
CAIR National promoted) to collect money for
cases brought to CAIR. This, while Days was
never licensed to practice law, and as such,
legal services were never rendered.
