A British shipping tycoon was gunned down by terrorists in a Mumbai hotel today, moments after telling of his panic by mobile phone.Entrepreneur Andreas Liveras told reporters how he and other guests had locked themselves in the basement of the luxury Taj Mahal hotel while gunmen ran amok.
Moments - and possibly minutes - after he took the call, the 73-year-old entrepreneur died from several gunshot wounds.
He is the first Briton known to have been killed in the terror attacks, which left a total of 125 dead and another 325 wounded. Several other Britons were seriously injured.
Mr Liveras' death was confirmed by Mumbai's St George's Hospital. A hospital administrator said: 'We can confirm a British national Andreas Liveras, aged in his 70s, was brought in by ambulance.
'He had been shot multiple times, causing heavy bleeding and fatal injuries to his major organs. Doctor s pronounced him dead on arrival. The matter has been referred to the police and the British High Commission.'...

Good point you know they can come into Pakistan without visas form the UK. Any Muslim born outside who has Pakistani parents can enter Pakistan visa free, and from there sneak into India. We just have to wait and see.
The Taj Hotel, shown above, is right next to the Gateway of India, where the Jihadis landed in a rubber dingy from a ship (MV Alfa) that was later intercepted and seized along the Gujarat coast. This was the ship that had dropped the Jihadis into a dingy, from where they landed at the Gateway of India, and then dispersed, and then stormed the Taj Hotel and surrounding areas.
However, while the Indian government is busy blaming external forces, it's a little obvious that there were local (Mohammedan) support of it as well. These jihadis stormed the Taj Hotel, and let's assume that a few of them got as far as Leopold's Cafe (where it actually started) and Nariman House. However, the other places, like the rail terminus further north, and even the Trident Oberoi Hotel are much further for them to have had time to go there and pull this off. While one of those captured at the Taj was a Pakistani from Faridkot, it's not too far fetched to assume that some of the attacks that happened further north are the work of either local, or pre-stationed Jihadis in the area.

I've been watching coverage on TV and have some thoughts before I put the turken in and hustle off to see if I can find some cranbery stuff:
* I'm tired of hearing whining interviews of people who have friends a/o relatives "involved" in the "situation." The fear dripping from every word they utter is exactly the wrong image to present to the viewing public and, more importantly, to terrorists.
Interviews should be only conducted of police SWAT team spokesmen who look into the camera and say, with steely resolve, this: To the men and women who have attacked our people, our nation and our way of life, know that we are coming to get you. Right now. Either walk unarmed into the street immediately and surrender to the first soldier or police officer you see and lead them to your compatriots, or we will carry out our intention and plan to utterly destroy you. We're not negotiating with you. If we get to you first, you will die.
* Trying to get the lineage of the "previously unknown terrorist group", to understand their link to AQ... stupid. The lineage goes back to Mecca and Medina and the name of that lineage, that nexus, is Islam. Not "radical" Islam.

The ATS (anti terrorist squad) of mumbai screwed up big time. Instead of focusing on the very real terror threath of the islamic groups they were too busy torturing Hindu religious figures and spreading propaganda about 'Hindu terrorists'.
The Indian Moejahedin had some months ago issued a statement that Mumbai was the next target. What has the ATS been doing all that time??? Nothing, they were sleeping on duty and too busy torturing a Hindu female religous figure and claiming that she was a 'Hindu terrorist'.
The ATS is so incompetent that they even came out with a claim that a Hindu group was behind the Samjhauta train express bombing and that RDX was used as explosive. But forensic evidence ruled out the possibilty that RDX was used in the blast, so the ATS was caught with their lying pants on fire.

The moment the first evidence came out that the blasts in Malegaon was done by Hindus, all branches of the Indian government did everything - dissect the army, arrest the sadhvi, interrogate every Hindutva leader they could lay their hands on.

The story of Liveris the first reported murdered Brit is interesting. The guy comes form Kyrenia which was taken over in the Turkish Jihad against Cyprus. He was in Britain but half his family was murdered by Turkish troops. They took all his family's land as well.
New he is murdered by Moslems claiming to seek justice over Kashmir and Israel.
Final irony: Tony Blair's wife fought in the UK courts to keep people like Liveris from having claims to their own land against British holiday home buyers who bought the stolen land!

i know, i have been following that. It's disgusting to see that every day the Indian Main Stream Media came up with frontpage headline after headline about 'hindu terrorism'. Now they are silent about the very real muslim terrorism.
