Khalidi of the PLO

In reference to Raymond's post of Daniel Pipes' article below, the illustrious Martin Kramer (thanks to LittleGreenFootballs 2, a great new site I found recently) has a terrific summary piece on Rashid Khalidi's ties to the PLO, and his many efforts to obscure his connection with them.

Heh,heh...you guys move fast. You did this in just one day? I wonder what sort of retaliation you can now expect from CJ (maybe charges of copyright violation, or some such?).

Eastview

That is not my business, but I suspect he would only have a case if he has trademarked the name. I don't know if he has or not. You cannot copyright a title. Is a blog name a title? I don't know if that has been hashed out legally or not.

Robert, sorry, I was sloppy. By "you guys" etc. I meant the larger community of unhappy lizardoids, not you personally. Yesterday's kerfuffle obviously stirred someone to action. Good point about the copyright question.

Further on the LGF2 site...it appears it's been around at least since August. It's amazing, though, how similar the comments and complaints about LGF found on the LGR2 site are to the ones appearing on JW yesterday. Thanks for pointing us to this alternate site.

Yes, Eastview, I have nothing to do with the LGF2 site, but it is older than this present conflict, as Charles Johnson has been acting this way for some time.

Meanwhile, I'm told that Charles Johnson, after defaming me and dragging my name through the mud, is now forbidding his robots from discussing the issue. Pangs of guilt? He should have them -- but in any case, here again he manifests his authoritarian streak.

No word yet on whether or when Charles will denounce Pajamas Media and the Wall Street Journal as neofascist, since both link to the Brussels Journal, which was the sum total of my horrible crime, for which he excommunicated me on Halloween.

Charles Johnson represents the new America, defaming and demonizing his opponents and crushing dissent. Let's hope the old America, that upheld and respected free and open discussion and allowed for the possibility that two people could disagree in good faith without one of them being evil, lasts a little while longer.

In case anyone forgets what the PLO was up to circa 1978, while Rashid Khalidi was their "official spokesperson":

Robert,

Thanks very much for the kudos for my site. If you ever go in there and search for savage_nation, you won't find me since Chuckles deleted 7 years of my posts.

Me and a few others that set up the blog want to expose that nitwit for what he is. I have other plans for it too beyond what you see right now.

OT...Well Robert, my prediction of record posts for the LGF situation, prevailed. Since the overwhelming number were supportive, that's a good thing...

Um, this was a good article. Martin Kramer is one of like 3 decent people in Middle Eastern studies, the other two being Daniel Pipes and Cinnamon Stilwell. It discussed how blatantly the MSM has been lying and trying to drag the New York Times through the mud for telling the truth, which strikes me as pretty Orwellian. They were a decent paper back in the late 70s. The article is just some really good journalism. Apparently those who have been defending Khalidi either didn't do much research because they ignored some articles in which he was credited by the name 'Khalidy,' or they willfully ignored them and played ignorant like they've been doing for years. He self-identified as 'PLO spokesman' for years.
