Today is the 45th anniversary of the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald. As the nation remembered this weekend the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, a common theme of many stories was that questions still remain about the identity of the real killers. Here via MEMRITV (thanks to Anne) is a fresh steaming pile of conspiracy theory, returning to that tried-and-true theme of political analysis in the Islamic world: the Jews did it!
Ah yes, the JFK assassination conspiracy. By the time it reached its peak, there were more people in the conspiracy than outside it: the CIA, the FBI, the mob, LBJ and his Texas machine, Castro and the Cubans, the Minutemen and assorted right-wing militias, Vietnamese avenging Diem, etc.
Does anyone have the slightest doubt that such a person as Lee Harvey Oswald, a psychically marginal Seeker of Certainties (who found his Truth in Soviet Communism, in unlikely Minsk), would today not become a Communist, but would, rather, find most appealing the Total Belief-System of Islam, and no doubt be a convert. For while Communism purports to offer an understanding of the distribution of wealth and power, and what needs to be done by the "workers" to recognize their own situation, and all that passing parade which consists merely of epiphenomena on the underlying reality of economic exploitation, Islam does it one better. Naive converts are often led to believe that Islam offers "social justice" (those people haven't spent time in a Muslim country, or understood how Muslim societies are even more disposed to the worship of power and submission to authority, than the most indoctrinated wage-slave enduring, say, the delights of Dickensian capitalism) -- it doesn't, but rather encourages a mhurderous hostility to non-Muslims and a Muslim supremacism that, in turn, disguises the real truth about Islam: it is, and always has been, a vehicle for Arab supremacism.
And even better than Communism is the all-encompassing system of Islam, that purports to tell Believers what they should eat, how they should dress, what hairstyles they may use, how they should face when defecating and how they should wipe themselves, and everything, everything. And theirs not to reason why. Theirs to accept what Allah has laid down, forever, because Allah Knows Best. The tedious and absurd discussions of the likely authenticity of this or that Hadith, based on endless study of the particular isnad-chain, shows a kind of lunatic inattention to the fact that what a man, Muhammad (who may or may not have existed) is reported to have said or done, should not be the immutable source for deciding what is Prohibited and what is Commanded, without any possibility of moral judgment by Believers themselves. It's a faith, a Total Belief-System, for those who wish to be relieved from the pain of thought. Does anyone doubt that Lee Harvey Oswald, the wretch, was such a man?
As for the mild-mannered Syrian economist above, just look at his outward aspect. Why, if you didn't listen to his lunacy, you'd think he was an advanced, almost Western man, wouldn't you? You are almost fooled by his outward aspect. And it's important not to be susceptible to such self-deception. He may look like us, but his mind is nearly lunatic. His being besuited means nothing; what counts is that he is mentally besotted with Islam, a faith that stunts the mental growth, and that everywhere encourages conspiracy theories and sheer craziness (to a much greater degree than in most non-Muslim societies). He's suited and tied, all right, suited and fit-to-be-tied.

ABC did a "Made for TV" movie entitled "Nuremberg". In the movie, the lead prosecutor asks a psychologist about the eternal question of good and evil. "Evil occurs" replied the psychologist, "when there is a strict hierarchy and a lack of empathy".
Sociopathy is a mental condition in which the individual has no regard for others. While sociopaths operates outside of a society, they pay close attention to the that society's hierarchy and use it to further their own goals.
Islam is "religion" that was founded by sociopaths, for sociopaths and (worse of all) requires sociopathic behavior out of it's followers.
I have at least a slight doubt.
I can't see an Oswald of today becoming a Muslim. Communism is atheistic. Many liberals today don't believe in God or in an afterlife. Muhammad Ali aside, Islam never quite took over the African-American community, as some people probably hoped it would.
Why would people who just want to be free (and maybe have a little fun) join a religion that has suicide as the ultimate goal? How do the type of people who demonstrated against war - in Vietnam and everywhere else ever since - join a faith that has war against non-believers as its dogma?
People who seek freedom join a faith that dictates how they eat, sleep, pray, marry, live, die? So much for 'do your own thing'.
Without doubt there are conspiracies, but the Kennedy assassination is not one of them. Oswald shot Kennnedy.

I put this to rest over 25 years ago. the evidence was so overwhelming against Lee Harvey Oswald that all those kooky conspiracy theories got to be laughable after a while.
Conspiracy books became a cottage industry nearly 15 years after President Kennedy was assassinated, conventions and all. The conspiracies advocates even became protective of there conventions and would not allow anyone who believed in the evidence of Oswald as the lone shooter to speak,a kind of Fairness Doctrine created by the conspiracy business I guess.
It demonstrates to us how important it is to have an understanding of Islam so we cannot be easily mislead like the consummate dhimmi of which many of us where until we made a decision to enlighten ourselves about the threats the Islamic ideology poses. One likes to think that people would want to know what drove the 19 airline hijackers to attack America on 9-11, or the USS Cole,7/7 and on and on.

Rather than just comment on the idiot comments that were made in the cover article, I read his comments from the link. Huh? Does that make any sense at all? Maybe there's a translation problem, but if gold was 1,000 kg per $1,000,000 then if it goes to 100 kg per $1,000,000, then 900 kg of gold is not "lost" (um, look under the sofa cushions?)
Assuming $35 = one oz of gold, that figure doesn't match up with either his 1,000 kg per million, or 100 kg per million. Where did those figures come from?
