A London-based Somali community leader has claimed that much of their funding is coming from the Somali diaspora in Britain, many of whom support the groups' fierce guerrilla war against Somalia's long-time enemy Ethiopia, which invaded in January 2007.
"People are sending money over to back the Shabaab because they want to see the Ethiopians kicked out, even if they don't have much sympathy with the Islamist agenda," said Mohamed Abdullahi, director of the UK Somali Community Initiative.
"But over here in Britain, they are not seeing the violence that they are fuelling, or realising that al-Shabaab has some very hardline policies. Many people here were shocked to hear about the stoning incident, and said that it was not Islamic. In that case, they should think twice about sending money."...

This raises the question of what the Somali diaspora in the United States, so ardent in its agitation for special workplace accommodations for Muslims, is doing in this regard.

Americans should also think twice or even longer about allowing Shariah Finance to get its stinky foot in the door.
As noted in other articles, part of the proceeds from Shariah "Profit Schemes" is earmarked for the discretionary use of Islamic religious authorities such as the Shabaab of Somalia and others. This is rationalised as "good works" or "funding of charitable action" (Jihad against Kuffara).
As an American, I cannot condone this most egregiously barbaric offense to Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow, her family, and the rest of her family, the human race. It is our simple duty as humanity to refuse the entry of Shariah Profit Scheming Finance into the American economic community and in any other places where we have influence.
When you read of such offenses, contemplate your own part in them as tacit participants in this evil, corrupt scheming to use our money to promote the inhuman interests of Islamic World Domination. Do not allow your silence to lose this particular battle.

Fjordman has quite an interesting article at Gates of Vienna about the difficult life of Greenlanders in Gellerup, a suburb of Aarhus. The Greenlanders are afraid to step outside their doors, and gatherings, football matches and the celebration of the Greenlandic national day have either stopped or can only take place under heavy security. The situation has gotten so bad that the "Greenland House" has now come out with an informative campaign, in Arabic.
Gellerup is composed of 88% immigrants. Greenlanders are an easy target in Denmark and Muslims do not have the monopoly on looking down at them. As Fjordman's article points out, they have difficulties finding housing in better neighborhoods of Aarhus. Just a year ago a woman from Greenland was sexually assaulted in Copenhagen by somebody (who is apparently very Danish), while his friends stood by and insulted Greenlanders.
As one interviewed Greenlander says:
"The Arabs practice pure racism against us. They can't understand why we can live in Denmark. Even when one tries to explain that we are Danes and were born with citizenship, then they don't understand it."
"Maybe they are envious, since often it ends in dumb discussions about who is at fault for the problems in Denmark."
I dug around for some more information and found this article. Despite everything she's suffered, the interviewed Greenlander is quite understanding.
45 year old Naasunnguaq says she is glad and thankful to live in Denmark, but she would rather flee Gellerup. "Why should I go and be afraid, just because I was born in Greenland?"
"Most Greenlanders here have been exposed to unpleasantness. One of my Greenlander guests was attacked just outside my door. He was seriously beat up and robbed."
Another, she adds, was injured in the face and yet a third doesn't dare go home alone, because she was harassed in her home by young Arabs, that attacked her and among other things threw stones at her windows. And calls on the street "Fuck home to Greenland this is our Gellerup" are completely common. It is not uncommon that Arab kids shoot at them with fireworks.
She says that they are in the greatest danger of all to be attacked.
"I don't understand the immigrants who behave like this. Maybe they think that we all drink. But then, Greenlanders are not all alcoholics. Most learn and work. We enjoy nature and love parties, yes. but we take care of our things and are peaceful. Maybe the difference is that their land has been at war for many years, and Greenland has never been. We come from expansive nature and peaceful society. But they should certainly be grateful to be allowed to be here, especially when now their own land is in chaos," says Naasunnguaq.
"The Arabs have no respect for anybody then themselves. It is humiliating to live under."
She explains that she has a great desire to understand the hostility, that she thinks is tied to ignorance.
"Greenlanders hate to hate. I would like to understand the Arab's culture and religion. It might be a good idea to arrange a meal together so we learn to know each other. Hospitality is basic for us, and I can well imagine a project of understanding," says Naasunnguaq.
"For instead of prejudice there should be care and understanding."

skevin - that article about the Arab Muslims attacking Greenlanders was very distressing.
Greenlanders are also known as Inuktituk; they are culturally, ethnically and linguistically related to the Inuit of the Canadian Arctic; most are Christian, thanks to the 18th century Norwegian missionary Hans Egede whose son translated the Gospels into their language, and they have a rich tradition of art, storytelling, music and carving of small sculptures and, of course, like all Arctic peoples, they have a special place in their hearts for dogs.
Two things stood out from the article; the Greenlanders have hit the nail on the head, without knowing it.
1. Arab supremacism.
"The Arabs practice pure racism against us"; again, "The Arabs have no respect for anybody then [sic: 'other than'] themselves. It is humiliating to live under."
Humiliating...That second sentence is a perfect summary of the state of affairs throughout the Islamosphere, and the attitudes that prevail, first from Muslims toward non-Muslims, but also, within Islam, from Arabs toward non-Arabs.
2. Hatred as a governing passion, among Muslims.
This comes through by implication in the following paragraph:
'She [the Greenland woman] explains that she has a great desire to understand the [Arab Muslims'] hostility, that she thinks is tied to ignorance.
"Greenlanders hate to hate'". (This statement implies that she senses the hatred that fills the Muslims, and is puzzled by it; she is trying to work out where it comes from; she can't understand why anyone would *want* to hate).
Perhaps the Danes opposing Islamification of Denmark should hurry up and get together with the bewildered and frightened Greenlanders within Denmark and explain
1. that Islam is the vehicle of Arab imperialism and supremacism and
2. Islam deliberately, explicitly inculcates hatred and contempt for, and aggressive hostility toward, all non-Muslims unless and until they either join the Muslim gang (like a bullied child joining the bullies and becoming a bully, too), or grovel and pay 'protection' money.
Here is Martha Gellhorn speaking about hatred, in the Arab Muslim world, as she observed and felt it, in 1960:
"When we left [after visiting an Arab Muslim village inside Israel - dda], the pretty, healthy children ran beside the car, shouting. I waved. Nissim [a well-meaning Jew, Martha's guide - dda] looked queer, something was wrong; that chronic optimist seemed sad.

"You mean just now, shouting?"
"Yes. They say: 'Where you going, bastard? I spit on you.'"
'What for', I thought, 'what for, and will it never stop?'
"Do you hate the Arabs, Nissim?"
"No. Of course no."

"What is the good of hate?"
'What indeed?
'Arabs gorge on hate, they roll in it, they breathe it.
' Jews top the hate list, but any foreigners are hateful enough.
' Arabs also hate each other, separately and en masse.
'Their politicians change the direction of their hate as they would change their shirts.
'Their press is vulgarly base with hate-filled cartoons; their reporting describes whatever hate is now uppermost and convenient.
'Their radio is a long scream of hate, a call to hate.
'They teach their children hate in school. They must love the taste of hate; it is their daily bread. And what good has it done them?"

A MAJOR police alert was sparked after up to 40 Hungarian and Pakistani yobs brandishing machetes and knives clashed in Ravensthorpe.

Somalia and most of Africa are barely out of the Stone Age. It is no surprise that they accept and embrace Islam so willingly. Islam itself is a primitive bestial religion with no place in this millennium. I sincerely hope that by the end of it that Islam has been purged from this world.

I've written about Somalis several times.
Somalis are regarded as the worst of the worst, even by east African standards. Kenyans, Ugandans, Ethiopinas, all of them despise Somalis. They are regarded as pure trouble, with no redeeming features.
The biggest mistake was allowing Muslims into the West. An even bigger one was to allow Somalis.
