Our societal prablems have many reasons but most if not all stem from NuLabour and the Conservatives of Thatcher. NuLabour have removed any discipline from schools and removed parents ability to bring up their young properly. So what we have here are the youth who grew up in Blair's Britain, out on the streets, with no respect for anyone but themselves doing whatever they want regardless of the consequences. Yes, women get drunk and that's down to rampant feminism in the UK as well as NuLabour's drive towards to equality between men and women. The simple fact is man and women are not equal in many things and yet NuLabour's drive for total equality has driven for this. I can see why many men in our society look to Islam because it is a disgusting sight watching women behaving like animals, in our streets after dark. Women are drinkng far too much, they do dress like tramps and vomit up all over the place, but then so do the men.
What people also forget that they behave the way they do because it's also a sign of their lives that they live. They have boring lives, deadend jobs, no hope in the future and so what little time to enjoy themselves(yes getting drunk a common solution throughout time in British history) they do. You really can't blame them. They've been brought up under Blair to do whatever they want to do with no consequences under equality and women cannot handle alcohol like a man and we see what happens when they try to.
Our social problems are down to a complete breakdown in family, respect, honour, morality and that's down to the state moving in and trying to be Mummy and Daddy. It's wrong, it's so wrong.

This man is an idiot but he has a point in that town centres in the UK at the weekends are despicable places to be. I never venture in as I really hate watching people vomit, urinate and fight all over the place, not forgetting watching women walk around like ladettes, dressed in their underwear filled to the brim with alcopops.

Our society is what's wrong and those problems have never been addressed. Only now are we seeing the real damage of Thatcher and Blair. It's all rather pathetic really but then you get what you vote for, so they say and you'll just have to live with it.

Alcopops are like alcoholic lemonade, coca cola and really all kinds of fruit flavours. They were brought about 10+ years ago and they are selling like hot cakes. They don't taste bitter or alcoholic but instead sweet. They have high alcohol content and very popular amongst the younger generations especially women.

Britain has been there before. I assume, but maybe someone can correct me on this, that Nick Reilly would be charged along with his handlers of treason, which at least until recently was still a capital offense in the UK.

They would also actively work to stop the spread of islamism at a street level by stopping the construction of mosques, outlawing Islamic practices such as halal slaughter and enforce laws regarding polygamy, stopping social security payments to multiple wives. They would also stop immigration from Muhammadan countries there by limiting the influence on those that have to live cheek by jowl with the invaders .

To me that sounds like a pretty good solution.

Thank you for your words. It is warming to know that my cousins across the pond do realise jut how frustrated we feel here in the UK. Our hands are tied. It is good to know that you would welcome us to the USA and I would gladly come but you have a battle to fight there too and I, although desperately wanting to move, would never be able to live with myself if I never tried to do something to stop the Islamisation of the UK. There is too much pride in me for my ancestors, who laid down their lives so I could be free and I am really in a pickle as the best action. I have spoken with dumbledoresarmy and she has given me wonderful advice on who to write to(which I have been incidentally) and there have been others on here too, such as PMK, Indfidel and a host of others too that have offered their help. You are very correct, we can't all come to Australia. Like I said above to Boneshack, you too have your problems with Islam but then again, if we are fleeing the UK because of it then it will only strengthen your numbers to fight against it. First off - Privatisation.
This was Thatcher's idea. She decided to let private companies take control of our national Institutions vital for our country's running and what has happened? Take the Energy Companies for example. The largest company in the South East is EDF energy, a French company. They have hiked up energy prices in the UK while putting a cap on theirs back home in France and so effectively the UK are subsidising French Energy bills. The bills continue to go up and up.
Take the Transport System. National rail was cut up and sold to private companies, who have decreased the services greatly while continually, year in year out continued to increase fares well above inflation. Because there is no alternative the people are screwed.
Take the Water companies. There is only one in the South East and that is Thames Water that is shafting its customers with continued price rises above inflation every year.

Secondly - Destroying the Unions. Now you're either for or against them, but however way you look at it, they were the only voice for the people then, who were it not for them could have been abused and were by their owners, when it came to pay, hours of work and conditions. Sure, people will say that the unions ruined companies, by strikes but then had the companies not broken the rules and made conditions safe then there would have been no strikes. Let's take the mining Unions for example. Thatcher single handedly destroyed the UK Coal Industry and in process destroyed many Mining towns in Wales and the North of England. She felt it was cheaper and better to put her workforce on welfare, in turn destroying the communities and every smaller industry that relied on the miner's wage to live, because she wanted to import cheaper coal from Eastern Europe.

Thirdly - Selling off our Industry to European Companies. We only have to look at British Institutions that now don't belong to us - Rover, Jaguar, Mini, British Steel and others, all sold off thanks to Thatcher. I found this all very odd considering her stance on the Nation state and absorbing into the EU which she was against. It's a case of "We're not going to be controlled by the EU, but you can buy our companies"????
Thatcher also ended the ship building industry of the UK among many others too.

Fourthly - Banning corporal punishment in schools Yup, Thatcher's Conservative Government banned corporal punishment in state schools(1986), that led to the breakdown in respect and discipline and look where we are now?

Fifthly - The Poll Tax. Although the brainchild of Michael Howard, Thatcher's government imposed it on Scotland first to try it out. It's a greatly unfair tax, that benefits the wealthy and completely attacks the poor. For example, the Poll tax in poor parts of London is far higher than in areas where the wealthy live and own property. It was the Poll tax Riots of London in 1990 that brought down Thatcher.

Wellington, I could go on with more reasons but these above are a few of why I dislike Thatcher. People may say she was a great person and I would not deny that she was a strong leader. However, it was Thatcher's Britain that laid the foundation and that also got the ball rolling into the mess we have now. Thatcher was interested only in the Middle Classes and above. She did not care for the working man and this was her bane. It was Thatcher that created the hatred amongst the Working Classes which then bled into the Middle ones. Thatcher, certainly did pick up the pieces of Callaghan's disastrous years in the 70's, there's no doubt about that, but then I'm no Conservative, well, that is I believe that the true Conservatives ended with Churchill. I am no Labourite as many will know from my posts, but I am a National and a Libertarian but yet would never vote for the Liberal Democrats as they're worse than NuLabour and Conservative. You may like Thatcher, but from someone who grew up in an upper middle class family, was educated in the University of Life and saw the destruction wrought upon them by Thatcher and her Conservatives, I can never ever say she was a great woman. She destroyed the UK and I am not the only person who will tell you that. That's for sure.

Richard the Lionheart: Thank you for your detailed comments. Much appreciated. Seems that both Left and Right have screwed up in modern times. I certainly favor privatization over public sector ownership, which nine times out of ten proves to be more productive, but selling to the highest bidder if that bidder is a foreigner may be taking capitalism one step too far. Perhaps free market principles should be mixed with the right dose of patriotism (i.e., allowing sale of certain national industries and enterprises only to other nationals) to produce the optimum result. I do believe unions served a purpose in earlier years when the rights of workers were disregarded in significant ways, but after WWII the unions began to become arrogant, corrupt and schlerotic, both in Britain and in America. On your side of the pond it was worse, where certain major unions were almsot functioning as a government within the government. Thatcher ended that, she also projected a new found confidence in Britain as a major player on the world stage and she is the last European leader to win a war (Falklands conflict), but you pointed out valid criticisms of her tenure and I thank you for that.

Know full well that there are millions of Americans like myself who wish traditional Britain the best and still look upon the Special Relationship, which has taken some real knocks as of late, as an invaluable one in world affairs. For your sake, for your country's sake, for America's sake and for Western Civilization's sake, I hope Britain rouses from its slumber and marginalizes Islam in the Sceptered Isle or even eliminates it. He's another BLair clone. I do also read as well of Muslims in Australia you are having problems with. DA, I'll be straight with you. Without sounding like a nutter, I have had the ability of predicting things that have come to pass. I did it with musicians and and other things when they were unknowns playing the pub circuits and when I have a hunch about something I tend to be pretty on the ball. I see things in black and white. There are no grey areas with me and the simple situation with Islam is that it will take over the UK by stealth jihad. The governments, unless a Nationalist one, will not impose draconian measures on the restriction of Islam's growth in the UK and they will simply grow and take positions of power with which to change our society and culture to their Islamic one. A Muslim would not be a Muslim if he did not believe in the Koran and Muhammad and the teachings of Muhammad talk about one religion, that being Islam in one big Caliphate. The situation is this, Islam will take over because they have no opposition. They also have the support of the left, oddly enough the feminists, the lesbians and homosexuals whom will be the first to be persecuted under their regime. In other words DA, if the UK does not drastically remove itself from Left Wing Control then there is no hope to stop Islamisation other than civil war and that would mean bloodshed and a lot of it. It would mean the same thing happening in the UK as what happened in Former Yugoslavia.

So inevitably I want answers as really I can not see a way out of this. Our tolerance in the West is our undoing. Our allowing of intolerant faiths to prosper in our societies which promote the oppression and freedoms of all will be the death of us and yet no one at the top seems to see any of this.

I do agree with you however in some of your points. Privatisation, if run properly can be very good for society, however here in the UK, privatisation means that the Government's buddies get hold of British Institutions, decrease productivity, standards and efficiency, while continually rising prices to bolster their fat cat salaries, as well as no doubt, back handers to the politicians who helped them. As I explained, I don't know any Private companies in the UK that actually do good(apart from maybe some Medical ones).
I totally agree with keeping British companies British, I mean, I wonder how Americans would feel if their energy companies were owned by Mexico, that continued to increase energy bills, while putting a cap on Mexican people's ones? You would be livid I would imagine. Nulabour are selling off the UK to the Highest bidder. Our football(soccer) teams are being bought by Russian Oligarchs and Saudi Sheiks. British Steel was sold to the Hinduja Brothers. Our sporting bodies are hiring foreign coaches to coach our teams, even our National Sides. There are more and more foreign players than home grown ones. The list goes on.
I also do agree about what you've written about the Unions, as in the start they were far better than they turned into. They have got too much power now and they are abusing it. I also do believe though that once deals, i.e. contracts have been signed by persons starting jobs, company owners should not be moving the goalposts. However one thing I will say with the Unions in the UK compared to the USA is that I don't think our ones were infiltrated by the Mafia!

It is good to know that there are Americans like yourself who do know that there are people like me in the UK, still proud, traditional Brits who are powerless as we watch our country being destroyed and Islamised and understand our plight. You are also very correct Wellington in that if the UK falls and Europe, then it's only a matter of time before America does too. This is a battle that must be won, but look Wellington, I, a Brit, have to post on an American Website about the situation in the UK, because our papers are doing a blackout on anything anti Islamic! Only today we have seen complaints from British Politicians(labour and Conservative) at the CIA bombing in Pakistan and killing of Rashid Rauf. They are demanding answers and an investigation of the death of a 'British' subject at American hands. One has only to look at the Times newspaper today to see the feeling of the British public, the anger at what the politicians have said and the applause to the Americans for doing this. Some are even talking of America doing the same in the UK too, killing people we can't throw out!!
Our situation is grave. Our freedom of Speech is being destroyed and yet the British people are doing nothing. I have to thank JW and Robert Spencer for his site and valuable information on Islam. There really are no journalists in the UK of the same calibre of Robert. Sure we may have Peter Hitchens and Melanie Phillips, but Hitchens doesn't believe in Al Qaeda and thinks Islam is a Religion of Peace, that's been hijacked by Extremists and Melanie Phillips knows of the problems of Islamisation, but won't come out and say that Islam is the real problem. I feel Melanie Phillips won't because she knows it would be journalism suicide to do so and Hitchens, as much as I've agreed with almost 100% of what he's written, I'm totally against him on this. In one article he wrote, he talks of having lived with Muslims in Islamic countries and forgets that living with Muslims in Islamic lands is far different to living with Muslims in non Islamic lands, as those Non Islamic lands are targets for their Islamisation.
Wellington, as in my post above to Dumbledoresarmy, I fear the situation in the UK is very grave indeed. I really cannot see Islamisation of the UK halted. There is also the situation that the police are now cracking down on anyone who posts or writes anything Anti Islamic. The wolves are closing in Wellington and they are almost at the door of Free speech, liberty and democracy.

Though not possessed of a drop of British blood myself (Polish and German ancestry) I have, since I've been practically a boy, thought of Britain as the Mother Country. Surely something as abysmal as Islam can't prevail over something as magnificent as British civilization.
