Nominations are now closed for the Jihad Watch Awards for 2008, and voting will begin momentarily!
As ever, there are four categories: American Dhimmi of the Year, Dhimmi of the Year Internationale, and American Anti-Dhimmi of the Year and Anti-Dhimmi of the Year Internationale. For each category, I have listed on the ballot the six names that were most often nominated -- and yes, those of you who continue to be victimized by Typepad can be sure that your emails to me were counted as well.
So in each category the six candidates already represent The People's Cherce, and each deserves congratulations (or a raspberry, depending on the category!). Note that the candidates listed do not represent choices that I have made to include or not include anyone, so please do not jump to conclusions on that basis.
Voting will continue through the coming week -- I'll post reminders and links to the ballot threads periodically -- and wrap up next Thursday night at midnight Central time.
Robert, is this election Chicago/Obama/Acorn style? I.e. can we "vote early and vote often"?
There were 45 of us registered from my address -- a 4-room bungalow -- and we all voted for Obama in November. Can we all vote for him now?
Another question - are these votes going through TypePad? I can't bear to even think of it.
Anyway, off to vote!

Get to it already. I expect your commentary on your selections as well IP.
Oh, it's pollmonkey? I'm reassured. :-)
Can they replace TypePad? (Although today, so far, I've been getting through on first tries)
It's really hard to choose from among the names posted. Especially so for the Anti-Dhimmis, as each person named so richly deserves to be praised to the heavens.
Geez...just when one thought the election, and researching candidates was over...
