Welcome to the wonderful new multicultural London. This is all part of the "Palestinians'" grievance theater -- if they mount a protest this big, they must have some serious grievances, no? And if they turn violent, well, we better give them what we want, no? And Gordon Brown is trying to do just that. In all the excitement, no one will remember the rocket attacks from Gaza that terrorized Israeli civilians. No, that was just fine.
"Palestinians to vent their fury in London all week," by Rashid Razaq and Felix Allen in the Evening Standard, December 30 (thanks to James):
PALESTINIANS and their supporters are planning a week-long series of protests in London ending in a Trafalgar Square rally of up to 5,000 demonstrators, the Standard can reveal.Riot police have been placed on standby after about 1,000 protesters besieged the Israeli Embassy in Kensington for the second day of angry and heated demonstrations.
Seven people were arrested for public order offences, including assault on a police officer, after violence flared when a group of men attempted to scale the embassy gates on Palace Green.
Fireworks, sticks and smoke bombs were hurled at officers guarding the building and one policeman's helmet was set alight to loud cheers from the crowd.
The largely peaceful demonstration flared when protesters kicked down safety barriers after the police tried to hold them back from storming the embassy.
Holding placards, waving Palestinian flags and chanting "Free, free Palestine", the rally attracted Palestinian, Arab, Muslim and anti-war groups as well as nine rabbis from the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network....
Ishmail Patel, chairman of Palestinian group Friends of Al-Aqsa, said the campaign's intention is to force the British government to intervene. He said: "Britain is a pivotal player with the ability to put pressure on the Israeli government to stop the killing of innocent civilians. Hopefully these protests should make an impact on the British government that not enough is being done to stop the bloodshed."...

Yup, the Religion of Peace.
-Ayo Gorkhali
Oh Boy, all those non Muslims killed by the blood thirsty savages throughout the world no protests at all from the Muslims. When non Muslims retaliate then the victim hood of Muslims and protests by the murdering cult of Islam shows its ugly face.
Man! Muslims are everywhere and they are causing great distress for the rest of humanity.
That ANYONE would believe the Palestinian party line is ludicrous! Poke a stick at the dog long enough and you will get bitten, no shame to the dog.
Memo to the Met: Pretend these terrorist supporters are the Yorkshire Miners of 1984.

I'll bet these protestors would not protest so loudly if they were going to be deported back to Palestine if they don't like it.
Palestine: a fictional country.
Yasser Arafat: their "Great Hero" who was actually born in Egypt, and was a KGB agent. Yasser Arafat's handler: Ion Mihai Pacepa, head of Romanian Intelligence under Ceaucescu.
Yasser Arafat's "birth certificate" in Jerusalem: planted by the KGB.
Yasser Arafat's wife, the former Suha Tawil (note that Ms. Tawil was Christian.... why didn't Arafat marry a Muslim woman?) was a cover for Arafat's homosexuality. A Muslim woman would have blown the whistle on him. Arafat didn't even give his "beloved wife" the numbers to the Swiss bank accounts that he embezzled $40 billion in foreign aid to.
So-called Palestine is run by thugs... Mahmoud Abbas is a thug. They sit on their hands and blame everything on the West, especially Israel and the United States.
Give the Palestinians more and more, and they will demand more and more, and do nothing with it, just like petulant, spoiled children.
It's all rather ironic isn't it:
This is the 'left wing' branch of Judaism, the equivalent of our Socialist Worker's party/Marxist Communists.
Here we have Jewish people, living in the safety of the UK, where Muslims are not firing rockets at them. Sure there are many Muslims that hate Jews in the UK and of course anti semetic attacks are common, but no where near the problems in Israel. We also have police that arrest and prosecute attackers of Jews(well we're supposed to).
For Jewish people in the UK to protest alongside Palestinians and other Muslims makes me want to vomit.
There are times I've been in the pub having a beer and in walk Jewish people(all dressed in the Black hat, long coat etc etc, who then come up to people and start shaking their hands. They do this in order to show that they're not like the 'savages' and 'murdering' Jews in Israel.
How pathetic they are to do this. We all want peace, but the peace Jewish people in the UK have are from the Non Jewish people who put their lives on the line protecting them. Violence is ok as long as Jewish people are not doing it according to these people.
What makes me really sad about these pathetic pricks, is that if they all were like Jesus and turned the other cheeks, there's be no Jews or Christians as it would be open hunting season on Christians and Jews with no fear(in the attackers) of being attacked back or arrested by the police.
All Jewish people in the UK should be united behind the Israeli struggle for peace. I am and I'm not bloody jewish for goodness sake!
I can't tell you how sad I find it, RtL. I find it disgraceful. Of course these people have a home in the UK. Why don't they shave their heads and starve themselves while they're at it? They were no doubt greeted by Nazi salutes. What's the price for that?
Fireworks, sticks and smoke bombs were hurled at officers guarding the building and one policeman's helmet was set alight to loud cheers from the crowd.
I wonder how long it will be until it's real bomb's being thrown at the police?
Honestly, I foresee a day in the near future when Israel will be kicked out of the UN, and the other members of that organization ask Israel to vacate her embassies in their countires. And this will happen more quickly if Israel ignores the condemnations of the rest of the idiotic world, and continues to clean out the rats' nest that is Gaza and the West Bank. And with Mr. 'Buff' Obama coming into the office of the Presidency, the isolation of Israel is a serious concern to this Yank. Isolating Israel is the only logical conclusion to the ongoing denigration of Israel by the rest of the numbnuts at the UN.
At that point, I know the world will have gone truly bonkers, not just bi-polar.
FNC calls this "extreme demonstrations". New name for riots.
re:
Ain't it the truth!? Coincidentally, there is an interesting thread discussing a controversial contributing writer, Chris Hatem (an "Alawite Muslim") whose initial contribution proposes methodology on how to defeat militant Islam at the Conservative blog site, "America's Right" . In the comments section Hatem responds to some of the criticism for lack of similar masses of 'moderate muslims' speaking out against the violence perpetrated in the name of Islam:
So there you have one perspective explaining the reason for the lack of 'responsibility' taken by the Islamic collective.
Jdamn,
It reminds me of the despicable situation before Armistice Day when they white poppies were made in order to respect the pacifists who never fought in WWI & WWII as well as saying that red poppies signified violence.
I just wish these liberal twits would realise that violence is necessary and has been used throughout time to protect the defenceless against those who want to control and oppress them.
Then again we could all just turn the other cheek and like Christ be punished for the sins of man. Defend what is yours and fight if needs be, but the day you let down your guard and embrace your enemy will be the day you submit yourself unto them and their control. Then all your liberal beliefs of peace and love will be forever banished to the annals of history like their common sense.
Had todays media been operating in Hitler's time, and if he knew how to manipulate the media like the Muslims do, he would have won the war and we would all be speaking German.
Spot on, Spot on! - lol
Real Londoners, as opposed to these unwanted Mohammedan rioters, will know, either through their own experience or from listening to their parents and grandparents, what it was like when Hitler was sending over the doodlebugs. And knowing that, they will feel sympathy for the citizens of southern Israel, who have endured a similar barrage of terror weapons during the last few years.
I'm surprised they took so long to retaliate!
What a load of hypocritical BS! They're waving a sign saying "STOP starving the Palestinians"; when in the days preceding the Israeli counter-attack, the Israelis were sending food supplies to Gaza at the rate of one pound per capita per day.
The demonstrations should have been outside the Egyptian embassy, since Egypt keeps its border with Gaza much more tightly sealed than the Israelis do theirs.
"The rally attracted Palestinian, Arab, Muslim and anti-war groups..."
Anti-war groups; they still exist? I cannot think of anything more ridiculous than being in an "anti-war group". Even Muslims stand for SOMETHING. What do anti-war groups stand for? Nothing more than capitulation and self-annihilation, and they dare to join in with the "Palestinians" rather than take their agenda to Hamas. If they want to bleat about peace, at least do it on neutral ground, not at an anti-Israel demonstration. Cowards.
In Trafalgar Square - it's simply unbelievable.
The Islamic Republic of (once-great) Britainstan.
As a Christian I know we are not to be so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good, but the words last days and the fulfillment of biblical prophesy are taking on greater meaning with each passing day.
And too, as I watch events unfold I wish I were a true lion of a man, a great warrior with the metal to take up my sword and pledge service to the Israelis.
So much fanciful nonsense, but in my heart I yearn to be a Joshua, a Samson, a David...with the means to show up in Israel and present myself saying, "Here to help kick ass, Sir!"
i wonder how long it will be before Egypt shows the UK how to deal with these situations?

Fortunately Sojourner, that will not be necessary, nor is it what is required to defeat Islam.
This is above all a clash of ideologies. What is desperately needed is to educate our fellow Infidels as to the truth about Islam and Muhammad.
We CANNOT win unless we understand our enemy and see him with clear eyes.
So study a bit, then go out and spread the truth about the monster who is Muhammad. Tell your fellow kuffar about the murders and mass murders, the rapes, the tortures committed by Muhammad, all documented in Islamic Holy Books – and tell them that to Muslims Mohammad is “uswa hasana’ The Model of Conduct and
“al-insan al- kamil” The Perfect Man.
Tell them these things Sojourner and it will suffice more than a thousand “great warriors”

There's a non-Muslim sort of anarchist in France, Jose Bove, who was famous for bulldozing a McDonald's as a protest against "globalization", and he also participates in pro-Palestinian rallies. I don't doubt the rioters in Seattle who smashed Starbucks windows would also show their "solidarity" for Palestinians.
These protesters do not speak for the people of the UK. It is probably the same bunch that turn out for any anti-American or anti-Capitalism demonstration. It was their ilk that protested outside the South African and Rhodesian embassies in London which ultimately bought down the last two white governments in Africa. The fact that both efficient governments were replaced by black, racist, corrupt, despotic regimes doesn't seem to bother them. These protesters have no morals or opinions of their own and are fueled by propaganda from the British press and the BBC. Unfortunately they are given too much media coverage which makes them think they have a just cause. Meanwhile the real British people are silent.
Our pro-Palestinian government has send further aid money of £10-million to support the Hamas regime. It is only a token amount but it says a lot about where this lefty government's sentiments lie.

They may not speak for the people of the UK but the rest of the World watches and sees that Britain does nothing to stop it. Tolerant societies that allow intolerant ideologies to prosper end up no more.
Capital cities are supposed to epitomise that country and yet look at London, does it or doesn't it? That really is the question.
Thinking about the situation overall, our society certainly does contain those who are British and proud but they are a dying breed. Our younger generations, our politicians of tomorrow are pro everything yet anti West/UK. What does this say about a future? We have allowed the left wing their voice and they have used it to destroy and indoctrinate the up and coming generations.
I think I have to go back to my original point and change it. I believe that these people do speak for the UK as you will find that most of these people are British Citizens, comprised solely of the younger generations who are doing their best to create an anarchy that they will be the first victims of.
I know for certain that the Israeli embassy, have a machine gun emplacement covering the front entrance. Lets hope they break through the police barricades and enter the embassy, then we might see a correct proportional response to this buffoonery.
Holger Dansker
I know the Embassy and that area well too because I have a friend who works in the Embassy and they tell me that the police have been very good to the staff and more importantly is that the amount of calls and emails they've been getting in support has been overwhelming and that my friend thought a real sea change of opinion has been happening.
It's such a nice part of London and the embassy boulevard is usually a lovely walk past some really impressive georgian/victorian buildings all used for various diplomatic purposes. From there Kensington High St. and of course Hyde park where once the Dandies of Beau Brummell would strutt their stuff with politeness and decorum...how things can change.

With respect most of the demonstrators were immigrants and proberbly illegals but as you know nothing is being done to round these people up because London has been literally flooded with islamists...conspiracy or ignorance.Only time will tell.
Just send messages of support to the embassy and there staff..they do get read and much appreciated.

It's heartening to hear that the Israeli embassy in London is being inundated by messages of support.
The same thing should be happening all over the Western world.
Thanks for the reminder: my own message to the Israeli Ambassador in Australia will be sent forthwith.
