Well, Bukhari didn't evade the question. He confirmed that the Facebook discussion was authentic, and said: "I stand by that [his comments], and I think any Muslim in the world stands by that ... if you think I'm going to tap dance for you and say 'These Muslims are really bad and should sort their own house out', then I'm not going to."
Indeed, he added, if that was my view then I could "p--- off".
Something about the name Bukhari, apparently, has to do with actually telling the Truth.

Well: classical Islam teaches that those who engage in jihad fi sabil allah - who 'strive in the path of allah' - are rewarded by paradise.
Since non-Muslims experience jihadists as terrorists, then yes, the Quran says terrorists are rewarded in paradise. (Muslims, of course, view only non-Muslims who resist Jihad, and who insist on continuing with non-Muslim laws, beliefs and customs, as 'terrorists'. But then Muslims regard jihad as 'justice' and 'mercy'...).

To judge means to be unsure of a person's actions. If you know that person's actions to not be wrong then there is no need to judge. One man's relationship with his god is between him and god and no one else. However one man's relationship with God who tries to force his God on others is not between just him and his God but between, him and others. This is therefore why we would then judge him.
To say 'judge not lest you be judged yourself' is not a demand not to judge but to realise that upon your judging you may very well be judged on your wrongdoings.
My beliefs in life are quite simple. I do not seek Islam's destruction, I seek its removal from the West. I do not condone practices from other countries' cultures that conflict against mine. I believe they have every right to live how they choose to, just not here in a society totally opposite to theirs, hence why they try to enforce their beliefs upon us.

I concede that you may just have a point in this instance. In any situation information received is never 100% accurate and needs to be processed which does not appear to have been done in this case. However the man is still dangerous and the more we know about him and his doings the better.
On a personal level, I have posted about these in detail before but your opinion would be of interest
1. My late wife was punched in the stomach by a muslim child about 6 years old.
2. Within 4 miles of my home indigenous people are being harassed out of their homes by muslims who want to turn "their" streets to 100% islamic.
3. In our "white" suburb 2 middle aged neighbours had every window in their home smashed one night by muslim students. It was hushed up.
4. Our local paper was threatened with a boycott that would have closed it in a week. This would have been organised behind the scenes by a government agency. Why? They printed two PERFECTLY FACTUAL stories about unacceptable behavior by local muslims.
5. An Englishman overheard using the word "Paki" as a simple noun was fired for "racism", Meanwhile muslims march unhindered through our towns with placards threatening us with death.
This is only a short list of local experiences that I could considerably extend.

I do enjoy your posts but I agree that we have to disagree on this one. There is no Universal right or wrong or good and bad as we are all different cultures. What I have said is that we in the West have our society which dictates our morals. Put it this way, we disagree in cannibalism(in the Western World), it is wrong and totally against what we believe in, yet there are cultures in South America, native Indians who believe nothing wrong in it. Who are we to judge them for their culture and beliefs? Who is to say that we are inherently correct and that they are undoubtedly wrong?
We have our culture and our beliefs and I live and abide by those beliefs. I believe that other cultures with their beliefs should also be allowed to exist, although I disagree that we can co-exist. If people want to live in our society by our way of life then we should welcome them, but we should not welcome those who do not and we should by no means export our way of life to others. It is for other societies to decide whether they want to live as we do and it is up to them to bring upon revolution with which to bring in that change.
It really boils down to respect of other cultures and other peoples. I respect Islam as another culture and belief system but vehemently despise what it is all about and realise that it is complete madness to allow Islam to co-exist in the West or anywhere other than Islamic Lands.
I know you will disagree with what I believe in but then that's what makes us all unique are our differences in beliefs. We are no automatons like Muslims.

I've followed your debate with "darcy" about ultimate right and wrong and I must say I side with her even though I am a skeptic to the core. I think it can be said of absolute values what Voltaire said about God--------that if He doesn't exist, we'll have to invent Him. Well, if absolute values don't exist I would argue that we have to pretend they do. Otherwise the slide into relativism will become inexorable. Besides, I am by no means certain that it must be a pretend game. Absolute values might very well exist------even in the absence of a deity.
May I suggest to you a challenging work that I read a few years ago. It's titled "Value and Virtue In A Godless Universe" by Erik J. Wielenberg, published by Cambridge University Press. The author proceeds on the assumption there is no God but then maintains that human life is not meaningless and that to assume there is no right or wrong is a grave mistake. It's brilliantly argued throughout and I would highly recommend it to the theist as well as to the atheist. Wielenberg takes no cheap shots at religion and with respect, coolness and engaging logical analysis puts forth numerous ideas with brilliance. It's well worth the read. Again, hope you don't mind my butting in here but this topic has resonance for all who oppose Islamic supremacism, as both you and I do. Hope all is well with you.

As I have already stated, cultures should be allowed to survive regardless. When people within that culture have had enough and believe it wrong(as one day a bright soul will be born to change that) then they will revolt and make change. Let them live how they so choose in their lands, under their laws, traditions and practices, but let them also know that to drink from the cup of our 21st Century civilisation means abandoning theirs, should they choose to live with us.
The problem with cultural relativism is when you start mixing them altogether and by nature there will always be those that seek to dominate.
That's it really. Many will disagree with what I write, but then that's the way it is. I'm different as are you and that is what makes us all unique - the joie de vivre.

While I don't agree with the author's conclusions in every respect, I have never come across a more cogent argument for the establishment of absolute values by a non-theist. It provides a challenging intellectual journey into the realm of ethics.

The first thing I learned about when I was at school back in the mid 80's was that the 2nd World War was caused by the 1st World war. In fact I thought this was commonly known.
However, what I find even more despicable regarding history was the way the French behaved after the 2nd World War to the UK. One thing I didn't learn in school was how the British Empire came to an end because of its support for Europe, who then went on the offensive(after of course allying with Germany) to destroy Britain and its Commonwealth. Some gratitude eh? No more so involved in our economic destruction were the French, under De Gaulle. The Epicurean has his philosophy accompanied by intelligence and virtue. The Hedonist does not. And so it is with capitalism versus crony capitalism.

I just find history fascinating at how everything fits into place, connections, war and the such.
You are very correct, the French did harbour much hatred to the British and of course this is all down to history and the relationship between the French and the British, more so after the French Revolution of 1789.
What is also Ironic as well is that it was thanks to the French that the Americans won the War of Independence against the British, but I believe the French were more interested in defeating the British than helping the Americans.
I completely agree with you that I would far rather see Britain forging traditional relationships with former commonwealth countries as they were before the trade agreements of the 60's and Britain's entry into the EU.
I am still quite amazed that Britain does not realise, as an Island it has the best defensible position than any other Nation in the EU. It should break away from Europe, reforge the trade deals with Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the West Indies as well, of course, as America. i've been putting a lot of thought into this,
the relation between capitalism and socialism (which made me conclude that socialism is the useful idiot of this (bastardized) capitalism);

Why do the so called palestinians want this tiny piece of land? Just take a look at a map of the Middle East. Is there really not enough land there for them to inhabit without terrorising Israel for their land, although they have always been quite willing to live alongside the palestinians peacefully. They do not discriminate even treating palestinians in their hospitals etc. They had to build the wall as they would not refrain from suicide bombings and other atrocities.
