Funnily enough, this is not the impression of the demo given by the BBC news footage: the viewer was left to assume it was a demonstration by people of good-will, concerned with human rights, international law and humanitarianism. The demonstrators, however, did look either as though they were Muslims or (recognisable to the cognoscenti by the house-style of their banners) the usual Socialist Workers Party suspects.
Actually this soldier of Satan probably knows full well what he's doing. It gets its message across without inciting anyone to kill Jews.

I wonder - isn't there anything illegal about openly calling for the deaths of members of any group (the "Zionists" can be seen written on the placard) during a street demonstration? If so, why hasn't this barbarian been arrested and charged appropriately? Although the demonstration is over, the police can doubtless still find this barbarian if an effort is made to do so. In all probability, the demonstrator (along with most of the others) is an alien, and quite possibly here illegally. Deport him. Deport them all.

Abdullah Mikail, as for the idea that the Quran is untranslatable, it's largely hogwash. A poor excuse for not letting non-Muslims read what a mess that supposedly 'holy' book is. Lack of structure, endlessly repetitive, lots of sentences without sense, as well as viciously violent and anti-Semitic.
But that's not the worst of it. Read the Sirat to understand the Quran, and you'll find a plundering pirate breaking all codes of conduct of the pagan Arabs, entering into a fray of plundering and killing that they had never seen before.
If the Quran really was untranslatable, the Islamic institutions would not publish translations. I own a copy of "The Noble Quraan", and am having a hard time understanding how such a violent and openly anti-Semitic book can be 'noble'. Most likely explanation is that 'noble' in this context means something radically different than the standard English perception of the word.
Oh. Quran 33:21 explicitly tells Muslims to do as Muhammad did. If they really follow _that_ advice, all other religions strongly suggest they'll end up in a very, very hot place...

Yusuf Ali translates “morning star”, it is wrong as it is the “Star of piercing brightness” both he and Marmaduke Pikthal translated the verse and made the same error in translation of meaning…both understood it to be Venus, the brightest “star” they saw in the night sky…”the morning star” that is not what it says.

1. And the heaven and the "Knocker" (Tarek in Arabic)
2 How could you (Mohammad) know about the "Knocker"?
3 The piercing star (Thakeb in Arabic).
The Arabic word "Thukb" means a hole; "Thakeb" means the one who makes the hole.
The Quran is describing a knocking star that makes a hole, it is not describing a “star of piercing brightness.”

I am totally amazed at the way the world leaders and so called opinion makers turn a blind eye to all the violence and murder that the followers of "the religion of peace" unleash on innocent non-muslims, with full justification and licence from their so called holy texts and of course the biography of the "profit mo" himself. The respect and admiration the perpetrators of these heinous crimes against humanity get from the "overwhelming peaceful majority of muslims" is rarely a cause of concern to our PC leaders. The person in the picture holding a poster seems to be only exercising his democratic right (unheard of in the deserts of Arabia) in the eyes of the dhimmi politicians.
I'm at my wits end reading AM's posts. I can't believe these guys are brainwashed to this extent. That AM looks like fissile material in the making. Nothing can convince them until there's a miracle in their lives. All we can do now is pray for these spiritually impoverished, lost souls fooled by Satan and his profit mo.

No, we can do much more than "pray". We can do what the greatest liberal President of the 20th century did when there was a threat probably less menacing than we have now: he interned Japanese-American citizens for the duration of the war. FGM is practised by Arabs, Africans and even some from Asia minor.
He is correct to say it pre-dates Islam. But so does Hajj, ramadan, five prayers and every other ritual they practise today in Islamland. Why dont they condemn those rituals as `un-islamic'?
What is really interesting from sociological point of view about the link between Islam and FGM and other medieval acts of barbarism like honour killing is that they either completely or almost died out in non-Muslim communities right next door to Muslim ones. In Black Africa today, you walk into any country with mixed populations like say Kenya or Uganda or Nigeria and it'll be the Muslim tribes that practise it not the Christian or Animist ones.
Honour killing was once as widespread amongst the Druzes, Yezidis and Christian semitic groups like the Sumerians, Assyrians and babylonians in today's Iraq. None of the latter practise it anymore while it is still common amongst their Muslim neighbours. (BTW Little known corollory to the honour killing is the family rape of the girl first. Uncles, brothes and fathers arrange their own girl to be gang-raped first before murdering her)
