It isn't often that the day's headlines answer the day's offerings from the Hate Mail Bag, but so it was today. First, the hate mail:

Instead lies are attributed to the motives of the soon to be founding fathers of the United Islamic States, when has Sheikh Osama, freedom fighters in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Kashmir or Chechniya, or even the misguided 7/7 war criminals ever mentioned virgins in Junnat [Paradise] as their motivation for what they do?

The quote in the first paragraph is from my words here, referring to OIC leader Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and his attempts to stamp out free speech regarding Islamic jihad and Islamic supremacism. The writer of this particularly lovely and eloquent note goes on to claim that I have misrepresented jihadists' intentions -- that is, the intentions of the "soon to be founding fathers of the United Islamic States" -- by claiming that they're just in it for the hoors (aka houris), the virgins of Islamic Paradise.
Of course, in the post about the OIC and Ihsanoglu I don't say anything about the virgins of Paradise, and was referring instead to the imperative to make war against and subjugate non-Muslims as inferiors under the rule of Islamic law, as per Qur'an 9:29 -- but no matter. As it happens just today we have a news article in which jihadists have "mentioned virgins in Junnat [Paradise] as their motivation for what they do."
And so yet another in a very, very long line of righteously indignant jihad apologists, bristling with charges of my inaccuracy, turns out to be the one who is actually speaking falsely. What a surprise. But I am not actually publishing this email, as entertaining as it is on so many levels, just to show this poor fellow to be wrong. After all, who is he, and why wouldn't he be? Kasab is now accusing the Pakistan army officers and Lashkar commanders of cheating the teenager terrorists with promise of sex with beautiful virgins in the heaven.(ANI)

However, what our new friend fails to acknowledge is WHY the Christians or other religious minorities being affected by the "Great Satans" fail to act violently like the Muslims? The better question is: Why does the population of these religious groups rapidly shrink in the face of a Muslim majority?!
