Muslims stone Satan

Death to Satan!

Now that's one of Islam's many "death to [fill-in-the-blank]" lots of infidels can get behind. While Muslims (symbolically) stone Satan today -- a (symbolically) good thing, to be sure -- it is well to remember that, in Islam, Satan is often depicted as a corporeal entity, who, for instance, eats and drinks with his "left hand" and "urinates" on unsuspecting people in the night; he also "passes gas" and "runs" (on average 36 miles) whenever he hears the call to prayer. Seems capturing and physically -- not just symbolically -- stoning him is in order.

"Muslim Pilgrims Symbolically Stone Satan During Annual Hajj Ritual," by Edward Yeranian for VEONews, December 8:

Hundreds of thousands of Muslim pilgrims are performing the ritual "stoning of the Devil," Monday, at Muzdalifa, outside of Mecca, in one of the high points of the annual Hajj. Pilgrims will also sacrifice a lamb to mark the day Muslims call Eid al- Adha, or "Feast of the Sacrifice."

Throngs of pilgrims cast pebbles, while some threw much larger stones at symbolic pillars, meant to symbolize Satan, on the Muzdalifa plain outside Mecca.

Hajj: Idiotic "pilgrims in an unholy land".

A pedophile-worshippers' Mecca-palooza.

hajj = pagan tradition

I find people who "throw stones at Satan" and basically worship a meteorite to have rocks in their heads.

Shouldn't that headline just read "Muslims stoned: Satan"?

Too comical. They're so prehistoric.

It's all very confusing. Some stones are thrown. Other stones are thrown at. And still other stones are kissed. Surely some people occasionally get mixed up, and kiss the wrong stone. I suppose that then they get stones thrown at them.

These people are living the Bob Dylan line-"Everybody must get stoned". They must be to believe what they do.

What I think is absolutely coolest about the Muslim Satan is that he lives in everyone's nose at night.

"While Muslims (symbolically) stone Satan today -- a (symbolically) good thing, to be sure"

Are they really stoning Satan? Everything in Islam is backwards, peace is war, good is evil, evil is good. Now all of a sudden Raymond thinks Muslims might be doing a good thing when they stone Satan? Nothing Muslims do is good. When are you bozos gonna get that through your heads.

Time to bust out Abul Kasem's Islmaic Voodoos again. This is Chapter 13, the Satan Voodoos: http://www.islam-watch.org/AbulKasem/IslamicVoodoos/Part12.htm

The weirdest part of the stoning Satan thing is that there are many, many satans in Islam. Everyone has their own Satan, so this practice seems very unproductive to me. I also get the impression that Satan is black, judging from the pictures in the chapter. The funniest one is that Satan sits in your nails if they grow too long. Either that one, or the one that says (and this is the Koran) that if you play with pebbles you play with Satan, which would be what these losers are doing.

I hear the reason for the big cube is that the original 'temple' inside is a rather uninspiring pile of rocks. We're not talking Il Duomo of Milan or anything.

" ...in Islam, Satan is often depicted as a corporeal entity, who, for instance, eats and drinks with his "left hand" and "urinates" on unsuspecting people in the night ..."

Sounds like half the kids on Spring Break.

" ... he also "passes gas" and "runs" (on average 36 miles) whenever he hears the call to prayer."

Well, I want to vomit when I hear people reverencing a homicidal, genocidal 'deity' who has a split personality and approves of child rape ... does that mean I'm the devil, too?

"eats and drinks with his "left hand" and "urinates" on unsuspecting people in the night; he also "passes gas" and "runs" (on average 36 miles) whenever he hears the call to prayer"

Cool! I'm so down with that. Seems like a pretty agreeable guy to me.
Wish muslims would follow him, i.s.o. this creepy allah character.

"passes gas"

Dang; I'd better back off on those beans.

This is a bit off topic, but still about the annual zombie fest in Mecca... I wonder why Michelangelo's sculptures are considered idolatrous in islam when the worshiping of the black stone at the Kaaba by muslims during the Hajj is not.

I guess this is probably one more of those things about which asking questions is considered blasphemy, since too much inquiry and too many questions could generate more apostates than the "true believers" would be able to murder in the name of allah (the imaginary.)

stone age people throwing stones. anything new? Guess they are just practicing throwing stones when they next catch their women engaging in sin. practice makes perfect.
