As we all know there is a ready market in this country for the idea that Jews are behind Islamic terror attacks like those in Mumbai.

Part of the reason for this is the website “Citizen’s for Legitimate Government” or legitgov.org.

Only a few days after the end of the Mumbai attack, CLG is already posting assertions that the Mumbai operation was the work of the Jews (Mossad).

In the recent article posted on CLG, the author tells us why the Chabad Lubavitch couple deserved to be murdered.

I had never heard of this man before reading the article that CLG linked to.

CLG’s indifference to the victims of Islamic terror is not new.

In March of this year, an Arab resident of East Jerusalem shot and killed eight students, and wounded eleven more in what became known as the Mercaz HaRav massacre.

Later that same year, on July 2, another Arab resident of East Jerusalem went on a rampage killing three people, and wounding thirty more with a “bulldozer”.

There is no mention of this on CLG pages , nor is there any mention of the two other incidents of attempted vehicular homicide by Arab residents of East Jerusalem that followed shortly after.

Instead, on July 4, 2008 there is this story on CLG‘s website -

Another example of this sort of thing is CLG’s ignoring of Iran’s Holocaust Convention, and instead accuses Israel of using depleted uranium to commit genocide. From CLG’s website the day Iran began their Holocaust convention -

This is not an obscure web site.

It has been mentioned by Keith Olbermann numerous times.

CLG interviewed former ambassador Joseph Wilson.

The site’s founder Michael Rectenwald has been on three or more different MSNBC programs several times.

Cynthia McKinney has endorsed CLG.

CLG has bee mentioned in the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Denver Post, Carnegie Mellon University, Air America, . . . enough.

CLG has the kind of exposure and access that others can only envy.

One of the of the most offensive things about CLG is their “Political Education” page, which seems to be aimed at an undergraduate level.

If you click the link to a copy of Karl Marx’s “On the Jewish Question” found there, you will be taken to “Radio Islam”.

“Radio Islam” has been described in its Wikipedia entry as "the most vicious anti-Jewish campaign in Europe since the Third Reich."

The CLG’s use of cutesy emotiocons, and asides like “gag me with a chainsaw”, and “mega barf alert!” is directed toward children.

If you know anyone who has fallen under the spell of the International Solidarity Movement you know how dangerous CLG is. Lying about the Holocaust to children is not a point of view - it is sick.

I have written to CLG about all this several times over the course of more than a year and nothing has been done.

The bodies may not have even been buried before this much too popular website began providing cover of the jihadist agenda.

We westerners have our conspiracy theorists, our tinfoil hat brigade. Every society has them.

But the Ummah produces them in dizzying abundance; and unlike us, they don't have people who devote themselves to diligently making fun of, and scientifically dismantling, the more egregious conspiracy theories and urban myths.

Thought for the day: an accusation like this performs three functions.

First, it exposes the absolute irrationality of the mindset fostered by Islam.

Second: it is a classic example of scape-goating, necessitated by the resolute refusal of any thoroughly Islamised person or entity, to ever take responsibility, personal or collective, for anything they have ever done, especially anything (for example the cold-blooded - or the sadistically-gleeful - murder of a thirteen year old American girl, or of a defenceless five-months-pregnant Jewish woman) that pretty nearly all of non-Muslim humanity names and condemns as EVIL.

Third: projection. It seems to me that they continually accuse others (India, Israel, the USA, you name it, whoever is the Enemy of the Day, or Scapegoat of Choice) of carrying out 'false flag' ops, etc., precisely because it is what *they* themselves do (as, for example, in the various 'hate crime' hoaxes).

They expect us to be planning to do to them the kinds of things that *they* are planning to do to us.

The host is interviewing a Pakistani "analyst" who's claiming that Hindus masterminded the attacks, and were participating in a wider conspiracy involving the US, Israel, etc, as part of a plot to frame "innocent" Pakistan.

Regarding the "Hindu Zionist bands", the captured terrorist admitted that some of them tied threads on their wrists and even put vermillion dots on their foreheads, in order to look like Hindus and blend in. Taqqiya - duh.

As for payback against Pakistan - we could simply close the sluice gates on the Baglihar Dam in our territory, which feeds the main river system in Pakistan. If the Pakistanis want to burn down Mumbai, then we can turn their land into a desert.

Dumbledoresarmy, Daniel Pipes has written extensively about the conspiracy-theory/projection mentality of Muslims, most of it along the lines of your three points above. He also posits that it's because Musims feel disempowered, which of course goes back to your point about their inability to take responsibility for themeselves and their inability to admit that any amount of Islamization must, as a rule, lead to decadence. It also arises out of a desperation to vilify their perceived enemies, who of course are always quite benign, because without the victim mentality Islam's got nothin', being the house of cards that it is.
