Bush by telephone on Saturday that major countries must take action to halt Israel's attacks on Gaza, the Saudi state news agency SPA reported....But SPA reported that King Abdullah had discussed "the Israeli aggression against Gaza" and the "implications of continuing Israel's policies of blockade, occupation and torture against the Palestinian people all over the Occupied Territories."
The king also called for "the major countries to shoulder their responsibilities to stop this Israeli attack and save the lives of the innocent and remaining infrastructure in the Palestinian territories."
Abdullah made the call after a meeting in Riyadh with Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas.

I just heard a newswoman at ABC give a story about the Israelis' response to how many days of rockets? I listened for at least 2 or 3 minutes, and not one word of why Israel would hit Gaza.

In August 2001, then Saudi Crown Prince Abduallah warned Bush if he did not engage in the conflict in behalf of the Palestinians, there would be a reassessment of the U.S. Saudi relationship.
Bush blinked. He wrote Abdullah a two page letter promising the crown prince he'd work to establish a Palestinian state in Israel.

But, if the Israelis respond back and kill 10 people in one day everybody screams at Israel "they are massacring the low life terrorists - make them stop, make them stop oh Allah make them stop". They never ask their own terrorists to stop. Israel should be allowed to respond properly or the rockets will continue to rain on Israel day in and day out.
Let Israel deal with the terrorists promptly and let the Muslims ask Allah to make Israel stop until they are ready to admit that Allah does not exist and only Bush can make Israel stop and not a non existent Allah.

No matter how angered we are, Peace should always be the first option. The canage in Gaza, or the continous firing of missels into isreal cannot be the solution to this long standing problem of settlement. Everyone must take a dip breath, and realize that this school of one violent beget another only drives both side further apart, and makes peace illusive. The most painful thing to watch is the innocent people being sacrifice on both side. Enough is enough. We need to start changing our thought process that peace is not possible.
As a christian, I know that notting is beyound God. I plead with everyone-Isrealies, and Palestinians, Jews and muslims, and every human being of good will- that we should apply the same force, cost, effort, and energy that we expend in making war to make peace. I am of the hope that if and when all commit to peace, that is what we shall get. This current way of life of killing and destruction cannot be a choice over peace-peace for the children of both camp if not for the adult who have been biterd and battled. Yes, peace for the children yet to come.
Please, to the Isrealies and the Palestinians I pray and root for both sides to choice peace over these senseles blood bath. For the rest of the world lets avil ourselves as vehicles for peace, not an instrument for war. Peace onto earth.

It is simply useless to pray for peace for the Palestinians. Because THEY DO NOT want peace. They have been clear about it. Since you know absolutely nothing about Islam and the hate that it propogates I suggest you start learning a little more and mabye then you will realize that Israel is actually entirely justified in whatever action they are taking. This is because of the hate/violence that Islam spews against Jews, Hindus, Christians, e.t.c. For example, in India, the Hindu majority is peaceful towards its muslim neighbours. The Hindus have even guaranteed muslims rights within their own country. The Indian government has imposed on the people of India a 'Haj subsidy' in which the majority Hindu population is expected to pay a tax to send muslims on pilgrimage. And contrast this with the 'Amarnath' Land issue in which the Hindu's were not allowed to build temporary shelters to house its own pilgrims in India. Well, the muslims started their usual rioting and complaining of discrimination and our minority friendly government accpeted their demands. Has India attacked Pakistan? NO, then why are there so many terrorist attacks in India? Simply because they hate us, everything we stand for and they believe they are doing 'gods-work' by eliminating Hindus or Jews or Christians or Buddhists, e.t.c. So simply praying for peace is not the solution. Maximum force, maximum casualties for their terrorizing force is the way to go. Israel should punish the Arabs for their support of Hamas and other terrorist groups attacking Israel. The government of Israel has a moral respnsibility to protect its citizens and it does a great job in protecting them. Just because the primitive Hamas rockets killed only 2 people does not give anybody the right to say that Israels response was disproportionate. Hamas intended for the rockets to cause more casualties, that I am certain about. The intention was clearly there. So, hiding behind causalty figures is not the answer. The Palestinians must leave Israeli land and go back to saudi arabia or some other desert stinkhole in the m.east and resume their beard pulling and koran loving exercises. Leave the civilized people alone you barbaric muz. Why doesn't someone tell the muz of the middle east to use their influence to persuade Hamas to stop rocket attacks and Pakistan to stop supporting terrorism against innocent Indians.
