Security forces shoot six "gunmen" at Delhi airport

More jihad in the offing for India? "BREAKING NEWS: 'Gunmen shot' by security forces at Delhi airport," by David Williams in the Daily Mail, December 4 (thanks to LGF2):

Gunmen are reported to have been shot by Indian security forces at Delhi's main international airport tonight after a massive security operation was imposed following warnings that terrorists were planning 9/11-style hijackings and possible suicide attacks.

Airports in India went on high alert today following fresh warnings of attacks as officials said India suspects two senior leaders of a banned Pakistani militant group orchestrated last week's atrocity in Mumbai which left 188 people including a Briton dead and more than 300 injured.

Details on the shootings are sketchy but witnesses said police fired at least six round at a gunman or gunmen outside the main airport building.

It was not immediately clear whether there had been casualties.

The Indian police have called it a 'minor incident' in which no-one was killed, according to the Associated Press....

Stupid question, but what is a 'gunman'?

Looking for the Liberal MSM definition.

Six?

Well, that's a good start.

" Security forces shoot 6 gunmen..none killed"

" Security forces shoot 6 times at gunman..and miss "

Despite the "sketchy" details..it's the thought that counts...just shoot!

Yea, pismopal. Just shoot.

I think it was LTC Hal Moore in Viet Nam who instituted the "Mad Minute" aspect of perimeter defense. At random times during the day, everyone would just blaze away at whatever out there in the boonies looked suspicious to them, for one minute.

Maybe we need a "Mad Month"... or longer.

Okay, I'm just kiddin'.

Given the rat-like birthrate of Muslims, it's safe to say that since India security forces killed 6 of them, in effect they killed 48 future ones.

The latest reports suggest that this story is unfoounded.

If this incident was a false alarm, that does not mean that the next one will be.

Oriana Fallaci's citation from that great Athenian, Pericles, in her book 'The Force of Reason', deserves to be translated into Hindi and circulated throughout India at this time:

"the secret of happiness is freedom, and the secret of freedom is courage".

A false alarm attack also has value...'false alarm jihad', a branch of jihad terrorism. Designed to keep people afraid...

I would expect a real attack soon...A couple of fake left jabs, follwed by a right hook...

I hope India is ready for more terror, and Pakistan better get ready to duck...

Yes, False alarm/mis-understanding.

New Delhi's international airport was the scene of a major security scare this morning after what appeared to be a false alarm, officials at the airport said.

"We have combed the airport inch by inch and we have found nothing. The same is for the domestic airport. Nothing has happened," said KR Singh, the official in charge of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) airport control room.

You can trust the Daily mail to be accurate with their reporting!

Thousands of miles away as per, pork pie and beer in mouth their slovenly "journalists" stumble along fleet street, drunk and trolling the internet for any news.

"six round"

beer and pork pies.

The Daily Mail "journalist" had a deadline and had to file a report that day or he'd be sacked, so drunk beer bellied "journalist" made up a story from his local pub.

"six round", and a packet of crisps please.

While the shooting story itself was unfounded, it's still true that all airports - particularly Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai - are on high alert, and passengers have been asked to report hours ahead of flights. That advisory is valid from the 4th through the 7th.
