Muslim zealots jail convert, burn home of another; in Somalia, a mother and daughter raped.DADAAB, Kenya, December 10 (Compass Direct News) – A Somali Christian put in a refugee camp police cell here for defending his family against Islamic zealots has been released after Christians helped raise the 20,000 Kenya shilling fine (US$266) that a camp “court” demanded for his conversion dishonoring Islam and its prophet, Muhammad.
But for Salat Sekondo Mberwa of Mogadishu, the war-torn capital of Somalia, this was not the highest price he has had to pay for leaving Islam. On Oct. 13, five Muslim youths knocked on Mberwa’s sheet-iron gate in the refugee camp, one of three that is home to 572,000 refugees from Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan in this northeastern Kenya town.
“They were shouting and calling me names, saying I was the enemy of the Islamic religion, and that I would pay the ultimate price for propagating a different religion,” Mberwa said. “They threatened to kill me if I did not open the door for them.” He and his son managed to fight them off, for which he was jailed. After his release, as he was resting at home on Nov. 26, Islamists in the camp returned, shot him in the shoulder and left him for dead.

Let us all take note: the Muslims are not doing this in Somalia.
Muslims are doing this *within the borders* and *on the soil* of Kenya: Kenya which according to the CIA factbook, 2008, is ONLY 10 % Muslim.
The Kenyan authorities, if they had any sense of self-preservation at all, would be coming down on all such Muslim aggression like a ton of bricks.
Religious blend in Kenya, according to CIA factbook:

So: Kenya is around 78 % Christian, 12 % indigenous beliefs and 'other', and ...10 % Muslim. But *on Kenyan soil,* Muslims now appear to feel free to attack and kill those who leave Islam. How soon until they begin wholesale jihad against the animist and Christian majority? How soon till they attempt a military coup...so they can smash, burn and rob Kenya and turn it into an awful hellhole just like that which Somalia has already become?
The Kenyan churches need access to Mr Spencer's books, and Mr Mark Durie's book comparing and contrasting Christianity and Islam, ASAP. In Swahili as well as English.
One other thing to remark upon: we have been hearing quite a few stories, lately, about Somali apostates from Islam to Christianity, some converting even within Somalia itself, some converting (like this man) while living in Kenya, some converting while living in the UK (the fellow who converted and then - bravely, or foolishly - came back to Somalia to work as a schoolteacher and try to share his new faith - he was promptly killed). They keep on getting killed; but new apostates spring up to take their places...
Any Christian radio stations in Minnesota and elsewhere in the US with large Somali colonies, cottoned on to the idea of regularly broadcasting the Gospels - and other parts of the Bible - in Somali translation? If they're not doing it, they should be.
