Pamela Geller has taken up a collection to provide honor killing victim Aqsa Parvez with a headstone -- at present Aqsa lies in grave #774 in Meadowvale Cemetery in Brampton, Ontario.
Pamela and I have been in touch with the cemetery, and they have just sent us this draft of a headstone. We have signed off on it. My heartfelt thanks to all who donated for your kindness and generosity: you have made it possible to honor this poor girl in this small way.
And if you'd like to make a contribution now, you'll find a link to do so here.
paypal, bank transfer ... how to contribute ?
Proud of being takfir:
Sorry about that. You'll find the link here

And I have added it to the main post.
Many thanks.

It's a beautiful design.
The poor girl, I could just cry.
There should be a comma after "remembered".

The nuns who 'razed' me taught us never to use a comma before 'and', Peter Reaper.
"Beloved, remembered, free" probably would've been best. It's a beautiful headstone though so let's stop nitpicking the grammar.
I would have added a line at the bottom, "A victim of barbarism masgurading as religion"
Although I have donated, is it true that the family can have the headstone removed? Just somthing I read on Atlas previously...
Well, there's one kind favor I'll ask of you
Won't you see that my grave is kept clean.

Peter Reaper:
"Comma usage is in some respects a question of personal writing style: some writers use commas liberally, while others prefer to use them sparingly. Most modern North American style guides now recommend using fewer commas rather than more, so when faced with the option of using a comma or not, you may find it wise to refrain.
For instance, the use of a comma before the "and" in a series is usually optional, and many writers choose to eliminate it, provided there is no danger of misreading."
Just google "comma before 'and'" and you'll get a lot of choices.
Ahhhh semantics, semantics!

Some reports have said that they can. We are working to try to make sure that doesn't happen, but if it does, we will set up the stone as a monument to Aqsa at some other appropriate place.

I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the sweet uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft starts that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still in each new dawn.
It's beautiful. I love it.
Sorry, Aqsa.
Sorry for the madness of your family and the blindess of our times.
And all there is to remember you is a couple stone-carved lines.
Enough, Already! What will it take to slake their blood lust?!?!?!? Enough, I say!!
Enough!
It's a beautiful, simple design. I hope it can be installed.

Ah--the controversial "series comma". I worked as a proofreader for a publisher for some years. We tried to impose a "house style", but most authors were so adamant about the use--or not--of the series comma that we let each writer decide the style for the book, as long as it was consistent throughout.
