President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran will give a message of seasonal goodwill on Christmas Day as an alternative to the Queen's traditional broadcast, it has been announced....President Ahmadinejad has previously called for Israel to be wiped off the map and described the Holocaust a "myth", and Channel 4's decision has been condemned by MPs.
A spokesman for the broadcaster said the message is a spiritual one and includes the president's wishes for seasonal goodwill.
In it he congratulates followers of Jesus Christ and the people of Britain on the anniversary of Jesus's birth. He speaks about society's problems and crises being rooted in its rejection of the message of God's prophets including Jesus.
He also criticises the "indifference of some governments and powers towards the teachings of the divine prophets, especially those of Jesus Christ".
In other words, he will be calling the British people to convert to Islam. In Islamic theology Jesus was a Muslim prophet whose message was corrupted by his followers to create Christianity. The idea that society's problems are rooted in rejection of the message of the prophets is a call for society to adopt Sharia, Islamic law, which is a comprehensive program for every aspect of society.
Philip Davies MP, a Tory member of the culture select committee, said Channel 4's decision to broadcast a message from President Ahmadinejad was "completely unacceptable on every level"."His previous comments don't strike me as being in tune with with what most people feel at Christmas time. He is an offensive man and the last person you would want to use for a Christmas message....

Although Muslims are not supposed to recognize the religious holidays of non-Muslims, and thereby somehow to dignify them, an exception is made if the Muslim in question can justify his seasons-greetings farce as a way of promoting the cause of Islam.
Two examples.
In 1951, Azzam Pasha, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, the man who three years before had said that when the Arab armies invaded Israel, "This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacre and the Crusades" very calmly and sweetly wished the world's Christians a "Merry Christmas." He did so because in 1951, with the Arabs still reeling from the defeat of 1948-49, he needed to curry favor with what the Arabs saw as powerful Western Christians. It is with this piquant and telling detail that Alfred Guillaume ends his little guide, "Islam" though Guillaume, at that point (in the 1950s) wished to treat such an event "hopefully."
Azzam Pasha, by the way, was from a prominent Egyptain family. And his grand-nephew is Ayman Al-Zawahiri.
The second example is Ayatollah Khomeini himself, who just before he consolidated power in Iran offered Christmas greetings to the world's Christians. What he actually thought of Christians can be gleaned from any of his writings, opened at random. For more, google "Khomeini" and the phrase "I spit on those."
So it's not surprising Ahmadinajad might offer his own version of Christmas greetings, without feeling he had violated the injunction not to offer such greetings. What the injunction really means is: don't offer any greetings or recognition to any non-Muslim unless you don't mean it, unless you are doing it to trick those non-Muslims. Then it's fine. Then it's swell. Then it's halal and A-0K.

I can't really say, however I do know that our society has been under attack for a while from the left and no more so than from the media, comprising of the comedians, musicians and actors. We have discussed this before.
There is a programme on TV at the moment something like Britain's greatest Comedy moments or what not, but really, anything that is remotely British, stiff upper lip etc etc, is automatically ridiculed and ripped apart by our new breed of comedians and the old socialist brigade. You know the Alexei Sayles, the Adrian Edmonson's, the Rick Mayall's, the Ben Eltons's and the such. All the programmes that people love are of course the ones of the working classes etc etc, the low lives, the benefit scroungers and of course the revolutionaries against the British Establishment.
This destruction has been going on nigh over 40 years and continues.
Our youth really are completely oblivious to their history. I would say this is prominent amongst the city youth, where the (communist) state education has utterly destroyed our society and continues to. The private schools(public) are still giving our youth a great education but under constant attack from the government to admit the unruly inner city youth, from one parent families, expelled because of various reasons(most notably violence) and to give them a chance like the 'rich' students get.
Trust me. There will be complaints but nowhere near the level you would imagine for something as destructive as this. The youth will be sitting with their Muslim buddies toasting Ahmadinejad at getting one over against their countrymen kidnapped not so long ago(Navy personnel and Royal Marines). They will be sitting there saying "Go on Iran, you tell them", "Yeah f*ck the Jews and free Palestine from the Zionists blah blah blah".
This is where the UK has got to.
I just find it exceptionally sad that these idiots are uniting with their enemy, only to realise that once they've completely destroyed everything about their culture it will be time to submit to Allah. I don't know why anyone is surprised. Does anyone think any British newstation would have allowed such a counterpoint to be delivered by a member of the Provisional IRA? I think this station claiming it was merely giving an alternative point of view is completely disingenuous. I know the British media does it all it can to protect the Muslim public from being portrayed badly in the news by using terms like youths instead of Muslims or Asians instead of Pakistani so it speaks volumes to me that they would allow a Holocaust-denying, terrorist supporter airtime to offer Christmas greetings to the general public.
I suggest to UK readers that they write to Channel 4 proposing that, by way of providing 'balance' for this obscenity, Channel 4 should arrange with Fr Zakaria Botros of 'Life TV' for the production of a suitable 'Ramadan Message' to be broadcast at the beginning of Ramadan 2009.

My advice, for what it’s worth, is to use any pretext to strike up a conversation with your fellow Brits about Islam – particularly those “in the Queen’s Service. This program on Ch4 would do nicely. When you ask the question “do you know much about Islam?” and get the usual reply “not really.” Then say something like "I have been studying a bit and this is what I have discovered.” As you hand them the leaflets to take with them.
I promise you, you will feel a little better about the situation when you do this.

The video report is just a montage of rocket launches and the only picture report of damage done shows a house on the Gaza side of the border hit by their own rockets.

Thanks for your words of support, but really I'm in shock. I am in such a state of bewilderment that really although it's Christmas, it could well as be May 8th, after the way CH4 have decided to celebrate the birth of Christ.
I really am just simply amazed, that the British people cannot see what this is all about.

Already they are using this as a time to blame the West for the mess that is the middle east. How ironic that it is those very actors, those very people who are influencing our society as NuLabour voters, that benefited very possibly from a Great British Education system, most undoubtedly a 'public school' one who are supporting the very people who are destroying their ladders to success.
However, JK Rowling epitomises our decadent society. She is the champagne socialist, the multi millionairess, who struggled in a single bedroom flat in Edinburgh, writing her book. She has shown that you can be a socialist and care and then benefit from a Capitalist society, that she very possibly denounces. She has shown that you too can benefit from a wonderful British education system and then once you've had the pleasure of one, you too can burn the bridges so no one else can.
This is why I'm sickened with JK Rowling dumbledoresarmy. As much as she has a fantastical imagination, she has made her millions, creating a world, that children dream of, while she does her best to completely destroy that hope as she donates millions to NuLabour, the destructors of the UK, British Heritage and Culture.
It's all so ironic and exceptionally hypocritical quite frankly and I'm frankly sick of it. There isn't a shred of integrity amongst Nulabour, JK Rowling or any of the luvvie duvvy Champagne Socialist, Actor brigade who play the parts of people(whose personas) they inherently despise in JK Rowlings Harry Potter books. This is the world of the Champagne Socialists and JK Rowling and her 'actors' epitomise this to the hilt!
This is one of the most depressing news items this year. Seriously depressing. I hate to sound defeatist, but if this is what we're up against "from within", what hope is there of resisting it?
Richard- I share your rage. This kind of capitulation is to be expected in continental Europe, but to see Britain so willfully participating in its own demise is astounding. You're right: between the two, the competition now seems pretty stiff.
I hope the rest of the Anglosphere (using the broadest definition- specifically including India) can learn from the mistakes of GB. Dishearteningly, there are signs that the process is gathering pace in Australia now too (albeit still at an earlier stage).

America is also headed for third world status - fueled by massive out of control immigration. I've always thought the objective of the cult of diversity and multiculturalism is not to raise up the third world masses to our level, but to lower us all to their level. The example you cite is illustrative of that. I fear we are headed to a new age of barbarism, spearheaded by the minions of the Prophet, but involving other groups as well. Unlike, the brief one following the fall of Rome, this new dark age will likely last thousands of years.

We have never ever in our history faced a time where people are so apologetic about their past. The past happened and? Get over it, you weren't there.
However, the fall of the West is attributed to immigration. Don't get me wrong immigration has always been happening but as of the last 40 years, our society has never been so liberal as it is now. Instead of people coming in to integrate they do the exact opposite. Then these very people apply for positions of power and responsibility, traditionally given to British people, but because they are born in the UK, then that MAKES THEM AUTOMATICALLY BRITISH, regardless of their cultural and historical viewpoints. This has a serious knock on effect. From the first person who is against the way something has always happened in British society and tries to change it, that traditional method is eroded as the 'infiltrator' as such changes the very status quo. Then the next generation come along to further 'dilute' and remove the original ways of doing things. We then bring in laws to protect these people and their machinations to the downfall of our society. It is known as the Gramsci hegemony effect and is working wonders on the West.
Every great society has always crumbled from within, never from without.
Our society is no longer what it is. British society is not British as we know it. It is NuBritain. The place that welcomes all comers. I have to agree with what you state. We are going to go back to a dark age for a long time. I also fear as well that when Islamisation does come, it will completely obliterate every other religion in this world to make way for itself. It will be then that it will fully be the Cult that it is.
I have said this before but when Islamisation comes, future generations won't even know of things we take for granted now as they will conflict with Islam. We are looking at historical genocide.

I don't 'support' Rowlings by using a nickname derived from the books - a nickname that to any teenager who has read the books, and knows absolutely nothing about the author, will merely convey, very effectively, the sense of a group of people banding together in secret to practise ways of defending hemselves against a monstrous enemy!
I knew and know very little about her private life and could not have deduced any of it from her books, nor could I have deduced what British political party she might support.
If she is - in her personal politics - as you say, then we seem to have a situation analogous to that depicted (unhistorically, of course) in the film 'Amadeus'.
Or the paradox summed up by Luther in his formula: 'Simul justus et peccator'.
Irrespective of what Rowlings is or does, the books will outlive her and since the vision in the books is, as you acknowledge, so utterly different from, even directly contradicts, what you say she herself is, then...I don't see why I should repudiate the vision just because the person through whom it happened to be communicated, is less than admirable. Balaam the prophet was not an admirable person; nevertheless he was given a true prophecy, in spite of himself.
If you are right, this appears to be one of those cases where there is a disjunction between the person and their work; and in which the work is greater than the artist. This particular work appears to have a life of its own, so to speak; I will judge it by that, not by the author.
One could view the whole thing - the situation in which a person's imagination, their subconscious, perhaps what one might call inspiration, has produced a magnificent and memorable statement of all kinds of things that that same person might, in their conscious agenda, actually deny or oppose - as a classic example of God's sense of humour.
Even if Rowlings is an abject dhimmi herself, willy nilly, by inventing terms like 'Death Eater' she has provided us with a very vivid 'code' we can use to help people understand what the Muslim jihadists are like. And to be frank, I think we should use whatever works - Lewis, Tolkien, Rowlings, Michael Ende, anything, if it enables people to recognise the kind of fight we're in, and screw up their courage.
Rowlings' subconscious perhaps knows what her conscious mind denies. In an interview she was asked which mythical creature she most wished were real, and which spell she wished were effective.
The response was interesting.
The Phoenix. That is, the creature that she would *know*, from having studied medieval literature, represents the principle of immortal self-offering love, eternal life, Resurrection, and can even become a symbol of the Resurrected Christ.
And the Exspecto Patronum - that is, the invocation of spiritual/ angelic/ divine aid, the realization of immortal and invincible joy, the only thing capable of driving off the Dementors.

I merely pointed out that with all the quoting that dumbledoresarmy does of JK Rowling, she is unaware that JK Rowling is a hypocrite, writing of a magical world that parallels a world NuLabour is destroying faster than she can out pen to paper. She is one of NuLabour's ardent supporters who donates millions to keep them in power. I won't have anything to do with JK Rowling.

You know your Harry Potter, there is no doubt about that. You certainly know as well that the actors of the world are certainly not the worthy characters in real life as those that they portray.
Again I was not attacking you, even though one member on here believes otherwise. I also did not call you a hypocrite as you do not realise that the world JK Rowling creates is the world NuLabour are destroying. She in fact is a hypocrite for her support, therefore, of NuLabour.
Her support then filters through society.

dumbledoresarmy, NuLabour are doing their utmost best to completely destroy the public school system in the UK. They have also let our wonderful Universities crumble, who in order to continue to survive have taken investment after investment each year from Saudi Arabia, because the government gives them far too little funding. This of course has led to Saudi Arabia creating Islamist studies, which attracts Muslims, who then start radicalising them. The first job of any government should be to fully fund Universities. A society's education system is its most important concern.
Therefore, as an author who has just made a killing promoting a world of public schools and all the trimmings that goes with that education, selling that to her readers, would you not think that she would be supporting a party that also believes so? Do you not find it odd that she should support a party that has the exact opposite beliefs to her when it comes to education?
These were the points I was making. I made these points because it seems that you do not realise them. You quote Rowling many times in your posts and although your prerogative, I felt that a little history into Rowling was needed.
Last but not least, I won't deny Rowling's skill in creating an alternative world for children to escape to, but our children are unaware that there are far, far superior children writers out there of fantasy and in fact many many more excellent British authors of fantasy who have been shut out of existence thanks to the marketing machine behind Rowling. I won't touch any of Rowling's work as I am disgusted with her unfettered support of a party that is destroying everything in the real world that mirrors her best selling book's content.

Anyway I watched it and I did want to throw something at the screen. Here was a man, who stones little girls to death and threatens genocide against whole race and unleashes thugs onto the streets of his country to beat up women for showing flecks of hair - lecturing us with straight face about human rights and brotherhood for all mankind. Gut wrenching it was.
But I applaud C4 for being courageous enough to show this. I think more people despise him today than two days ago.

The problem with our society is that we had far more freedom of speech when I was younger than we do now. Society was far better and justice was also far different to now. We had more freedoms when I was younger and that's only going back 20 years. There were no obnoxious people on the TV as the BBC then and other channels had a duty to educate the public.
If you allow total freedom of speech then expect problems. Governments of the past saw this and therefore put measures in place to protect their Nations from insidious hate mongers who wanted to cause unrest.
This speech has done far more damage than it has done good. It will spur the Islamists on even more to know that they have broken down our terrestrial TV stations.
I think you have got it completely wrong. Morals in a society along with ethics keep it bound tightly together. We are losing them and this is a sure sign, especially when we have another country's leader address us on how to live. Frankly it's none of his business and if people want to listen to foreign statesmen then they can bugger off to that country and listen.

I happen to believe that both the KKK and BNP have an absolute right to their views and these views should be aired - as long as they dont break our current laws. In fact I was outraged by the way the BNP leader was treated by C4's petulant little newscaster Krishna Gurumurthy who rudely, unprofessionally, did not even bother to say thank you to Mr Griffin at the end of the interview.
And FYI, I am a Black Brit who as you could imagine, despises everything the BNP stands for. I think freedom of thought and speech as sacrosanct and form the fundaments of our civilisation.
