Virtual World for Muslims Launches in Cyberspace

It has no women, but prayer rugs are a plenty. Still, the founder of the site insists that "We are not a religious site"; rather, the site is "for anyone who is remotely interested in the Muslim culture and the Muslim lifestyle." Perhaps. But perhaps it will also be the next "culturally" Muslim site to be utilized -- that is, "hijacked" -- by jihadists? See here for more information and images.

"Virtual World for Muslims Launches in Cyberspace," from Fox News, December 10 (thanks to Quoter):

There's no sex, no drugs, no wine, no women — well, there may be women, but they're probably wearing headscarves.

The first virtual world catering to practicing Muslims has made a trial launch in cyberspace, thanks to Muxlim, a English-language, Finland-based Web site devoted to Muslims living in the West.

"We are not a religious site — we are a site that is focused on the lifestyle," site founder Mohamed El-Fatatry tells the BBC. "This is for anyone who is remotely interested in the Muslim culture and the Muslim lifestyle."

The virtual world, called Muxlim Pal, isn't as high-tech as "Second Life." Its three-quarter viewing angle and blocky cartoonish figures make it look like an older version of the "Sims" series.

There also aren't any recognizably female figures in the four screenshots posted on the Web site, though there are several prayer rugs.

"How it differs from The Sims is that it is social," El-Fatatry told the BBC. "So you can actually be with other people at the same time, interact, and see what their characters are doing."

Users' avatars, or virtual selves, can go to the beach, go shopping or personalize their "living spaces" — but the tight clothing, sexually charged atmosphere and constant partying of "Second Life" is a long way away.

Such depictions of the human form are haram and the zindiqs who cause such fitna and commit shirk against the ummah and Allah should be punished!

The article mentions music venues and bars! Allah save us! I have a feeling this will be more condemn as "unmulsim" by the mainstream mullahs in the east.

Moreover, this is unlawful knowledge of the materialist scientists which could lead to romance and uselessness. Women and men mixing together?!

This is kufr! Brothers, say the shahada and step away from the keyboard.

There's no sex, no drugs, no wine, no women...

No you have to go on a vitural jihad, and wack and get wacked by some infidels, and enter "Muxlim Pal Paradise", where you can have a virtural orgy with those vitural virgins , drink vitural wine from rivers, and in general just go wild, while your vitural Muslima wife celebrates your vitural rewards from hell.

I'd like to register, log in, disguise myself as a suicide bomber and blow the site to hell. Then I could meet some virtual virgins and drink Ripple all day.

A part of me wants to sign up, just to muck around. I notice you don't take off your shoes, so might as well walk around in mosques, push people off their prayer rugs, or dance at the qibla. Bow in my direction - of the dancing god!

By the way, very funny greatcomet 1577!

A virtual, saniitized world where "western muslims" can play the sims! How touching. For people who remotely are interested in the muslim culture and lifestyle, wow that's just great. Let me see, as mentioned no WOMEN,no bombs, no mosques, no booby trapped houses or buildings, no ied's, no qassam missles, no body parts or beheaded people for not being muslim or for converting to another religion, no sign of genitally mutilated women, oops forgot there are not any women here, no one doing anything that islam is noted for throughout it's history. Raping, killing, intimidation, the good things of islam. There are not any slaves either, no women who are just slaves under islam. Intereact with other people, homicide bombers, people from pakistan, somalia(isn't that just first class hobnobbing with others just like me and you)um.. no!

This is just like the pretty picture muslims try to portray to us infidel's and kaffir's so we can all relax and feel great about islam and muslims overall. Are there any footbath's in
this virtual sandbox, better add some before the muslims file a virtual suit. No women, that is how it truly works with islam, not seen, not heard. But they will stone, club, stab, shoot their women if they want to. Maybe that is why there are no women shown in this virtual islamic world. Sharia law for all who eneter here. Can't wait to what happens with this.

So, what POV is used to determine if they are facing east? VR or RL? Is the financial system, if any, sharia compliant? What about feet washing basins? If there are any food vendors, is it halal? So many questions.

jewdog, and npabga

Not a bad idea! Perhaps all Jihadwatchers should sign up, and give each other secret signs, quote Osama bin Laden, quote the Quran, talk smack about the infidel dogs, and in general make an ass of ourselves.....

Maybe later tonight, just for reconnaissance. I'll go by a different handle of course.

"where all the muslimas at?

More taqiyya. It never really stops, does it? Ugh.

How long will it take for a prospective user to note that the "x" in the "Muxlim" brand name looks like a cross-- say, St. Andrew's cross? There's precedent for it in Saudi Arabia.

And let the takfir begin.

Sheesh, what's next, a virtual Chop Chop Square? And how bout a virtual crane with a little avatar of Ahmedinijad holding a little button that raises and lowers the boom?

What, no Wet Burka Contests? Bummer.

Islam itself is already a virtual world.

Insular, backward, brutal and dogmatically paralyzed.

Opposed to the real one of beauty, intelligence, grace, decency, generosity, tolerance, creativity, art, music, joy and kindess.

okay I'm in on the lurking. Our code word so that we recognize each other shall be "brother".

Oh wait, er no can't use that. lol

Code words shall be "ice cream".

I shall be wearing a red rose on my lapel, since I have to be a man there ;o)

Can Jews play in virtual Muslimland too? Or are they only allowed to be bound and blindfolded, awaiting decapitation?

"There are no women.." says it all. The invisible beings of the Islamic ideology.

Looks rather like a Muslim version of Southpark, but without the humor.

Hackers to arms!!!

What a tribe of craptastic narcissists. As though they bring anything good to humanity.

...And many of their profits will be sent to jihadists to support their murder and mayhem worldwide... They found a new way to disguise 'muslim charity'.

Eastview, there is no humor in islam - mohammed made sure of that.

aNYONE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD CAN SIGN THIS PETITION

Sign the UK One Law For All Petition
and support the Global Petition against Sharia law: http://www.shariapetition.com/

Sharia law controls every single aspect of your private and public life. Girls from the age of puberty can be married. Shoplifting is punishable by amputation. Anyone who criticises the Qur'an or Mohammed can be legally More..murdered. You are not allowed to sing, or dance, or even laugh in public. Art, music and literature as we know them are simply not permitted. The legal witness of a man is worth more than a woman.

Sharia law is not fundamentally different from other religious laws, but because it is part and parcel of a political movement with state power, its medieval rules become the laws of the land for millions. Sharia and all religious based laws are incompatible with the 21st Century; it is incompatible with any society that wants to maintain freedom and equality for all.

During the enlightenment, our predecessors fought to remove the legal system from the biased grip of religion and pushed Christianity out of the public sphere; we must do the same again.

We reject Sharia law because it is discriminatory, cruel and barbaric and demand an end to Sharia law across the world. We unequivocally support the struggle of people everywhere whether in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia or in Britain and the West, to oppose Sharia and live in secular societies, where at a minimum religion is a private matter and separate from the state, legal and educational systems and universal human rights and citizenship rights are guaranteed.

That is why there is now a Global Statement Against Sharia Law to be found on shariapetition.com. This site will link you to all the national petitions and campaigns that again can be signed and supported by anyone in the world.

The movement is starting with a global effort to support the UK national petition called One Law for All. The UK is in a similar position to that in which Canada found itself before 2005. In the UK, though, Sharia has already crept in and is being integrated into normal everyday legal systems under the initial guise of a viable arbitration mechanism. However, it must be stopped dead in its tracks right now. And be reassured, it is possible. It is not too late. Because of a similar petition and campaign supported globally by people all around the world, in 2005 Canada was able to remove this biased and unjust system of law and uphold equal and citizenship rights for all. A massive campaign is being organised in the UK to support this petition and drive this loathsome form of legalised inequality and prejudice from Britain too.

Anyone in the world can sign the UK One Law for All petition and it is being supported by leading lights in the international fight for equality and freedom. All you have to do is go to shariapetition.com, acknowledge that you support the Global Statement Against Sharia Law and then sign the UK petition.

Other national petitions are on their way, and will be accessed through the single global doorway of shariapetition.com. This will help further coordinate and support the crucial work being done against Sharia law in many different places.

I want to encourage you to get every single person you know to go to that website - shariapetition.com - and sign the UK petition One Law for All.

This is the time to act. The world's press and politicians will be monitoring the number of people who support the global statement against Sharia on shariapetition.com and this first and most urgent national petition, One Law for All, which aims to remove Sharia from the United Kingdom just like the previous petition and campaign successfully removed Sharia from Canada.

We can and will make a difference. People everywhere deserve better. There can be no place for Sharia in the 21st century. Full Stop.

Has there ever been a better time to make your voice count?

Will we Westerners be allowed to build churches there in Muxlem, the way Moslems are allowed to build Mosques in Second Life?

I doubt it......

Islam is a virtual world indeed, profitsbeard, and a really ghetto one at that. Obviously, unlike in 2nd Life, you can't just write code for it because it's totalitarian. How long was LAMBDAMOO around before the first virtual rape occurred? 15 years? I give this virtual world 2 weeks. It looks like prison, only with slight variation in the uniforms and with prayer rugs instead of beds. I didn't see any outdoor area, either. That makes sense because in Islamoland it's always desert, after it Islamizes anyway. So it looks like one can sit, stand, or prostrate oneself. No books, but there's music. No instruments or turntables, though, since music is an artistic creation, so they'll have to import that from kafirstan.

Here's how I think it will be in there, just like it would if they actually got their Caliphate: They would all commit every act of violence upon one another while discussing nothing but how much they hate kafirs. I know they will do this because that's Saudi Arabia, and the only kafirs there are hidden or working most of the time, but even though there's not a Jew in the whole country they're still obsessed with us.

I so want to go in there, not because it looks like fun but because I'm a Jewish woman and I will get a kick out of infiltrating their "Pakistan."

This is a tremendous opportunity for the clever, the swift, and the thoughtful.

Sorry, still figuring this comment section out?

Hm, I joined, sent in a request to play, I wonder if I'll get to strap little bombs to my figures. ;)

jdamn, you really ought to do that. Sounds like fun. haha

Jewdog and others who want to visit that site

All that the Mohammedans need to do to stop you dead in your tracks is make TypePad their login gateway.

Poof!

Ok, I signed up, but to enter the "virtual world" itself, I need to wait some. but in the mean time, I can read such tidbits in the forums:

SOME IF NOT MOST OF OUR HEALTH PROBLEMS ARE INFICTED BY THE JINNS????? Without realising, many of the health problems affecting us are inflictions done by the jinns that have accessed paths into our physical bodies. Studies have uncovered that serious medical problems such as cancers, organ malfunctions and such arise from the menisfestations of large groups of jinns that disturb cell, tissue and organ functions by blocking nerves, arteries and veins etcetera. Wallahua'lam bissawab. by linn6409 11 Dec 2008, 4:42 am Back to Top Quote This is the first time I have heard anything such as this. What evidence do you have, hadiths, etc? Remember, it is the will of Allah that certain things happen to his creation, I don't think Jinns have anything to do with it. Although I have read an article previously about the Shaytan inducing humans in not taking care of their health.
.

Jdamn, their number 1 entry for community guidelines is this:

A wide variety of non-religious and religious content including discussions, polls, videos, images, files, audios, debates, praise or constructive criticism are welcome and encouraged. However, please refrain from vulgar language, violence, racism, hate, glorification of war and killing, or adult material and references. Please share your thoughts on all subjects like Technology, Sports, Food, Entertainment, Religion, Politics, Love, Tragedy, Business, Fashion, Music, Diversity and more

.

So I wouldn't worry them kicking you out of their Pakistan, as long as you toe the line (I know, I expect you'd get tons of grief)

That there are no women pictured - is typical of the Islamic world - on a blog once I heard a Saudi men inadvertently refer to Saudi men as citizens and that somehow the Saudi women were separate from this.

First of all - Saudi women are all covered in black - from head to toe - with a little space for the eyes - and there is even some dispute over showing their eyes - so Muslim women become almost an out of sight out of mind - part of the society.

I am sure they will happily play this game as men only! It is doubtful that they need women anyway - except to give birth - at least that is according to the gossip!

"We are not a religious site — we are a site that is focused on the lifestyle," site founder Mohamed El-Fatatry tells the BBC.

But, but, but ..................... Islam is more than just a religion, it is a complete way of life. So how do you separate the religion from the lifestyle.

I smell taquiyya.

What, no Wet Burka Contests? Bummer.

LOL

Founder Mohamed El-Fatatry tells the BBC. "This is for anyone who is remotely interested in the Muslim culture and the Muslim lifestyle...

Well, I'm remotely interested in the Mohammadan lifestyle, veeerrryyy remotely.

It's a interesting place to visit (for a very short time), but I wouldn't want to live there.

Looks like they are stanging around waiting for someone to suggest jihad.
