I assume THR is trying to make some point about the West supporting dictators in Muslim countries, rather than their "more Islamic" brethren. Personally, I find the whole range of tyrants in the Muslim world--from Stalinist Baathists to corrupt monarchs to fundamentalist Mullahs to be entirely repugnant. And, while they may differ in particulars, all of them are brutal and entirely undemocratic.

I think when muslims murder muslims, one could describe this in many ways, including ironic but to describe this as "genocide"..uh..I don't think so.
It has been frustrating to watch the news commentators move through the various stories over the Israeli/Gaza conflict. The American media remains steadfastly clueless as they interview the usual propagandists for the Islamic Hamas proxy warriors who play the victim card to the tilt. No one ever speaks of the "why" that contiuously perpetuates this jihad. Surprisingly a CNN Commentator actually glossed over the Hamas Charter,but that was all,no definition, no mention of what it says, so if you blinked you missed it. One commentator on C-Span received a "call in" when he had a guest who represented the American Arab Community this morning. The caller stated that he thought Waahabists where responsible for all of the attacks by Muslims, the C-Span commentator asked the Arab American: what is Waahabist? The Arab American went into a full fledged taquiya response, insisting that these terrorists do not represent any of the teachings of Islam and there was no rebuttal from the C-Span host on his claims. I saw the same thing twice on Fox this morning with a Palestinian representative allowed to to put out loads of propaganda to the host news commentator and absolutley no challenging questions came forth regarding the non stop barrage of rockets, the constant call for jihad against Israel,the followers of the Hamas Charter who will never stop their attacks on this tiny little postage stamp of a country no matter what. What would a guy like Edward R. Murrow have written or said today?

Wow. Notice said commenter was not cheering the death of Afghan children, but was instead commenting on the pervasiveness of sect-on-sect infighting.
THR, Please know that what he means is that if they're busy killing one another, that's one fewer Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Jew or Zoroastrian who is going to end up as a "butterfly" xray after a suicide bombing.
