Al-Qaeda #2 blames Hamas for Gaza situation -- no, wait...

Who can I scapegoat next?

Actually, he's blaming everyone else -- including such disparate characters as Hosni Mubarak and Barak Obama (who he once called a "house negro"). In his desperation, he also likens Israel's offensive to a "crusade."

"Al Qaeda No. 2 Blames Obama, Egypt's President for Gaza," from the Associated Press, January 6:

CAIRO, Egypt — An intelligence monitoring center reports that Al Qaeda's No. 2 leader is blaming Barack Obama and Egypt's president for the Israeli offensive in Gaza.

The SITE Monitoring Service says the audio statement by Ayman al-Zawahiri was posted on militant Web sites Tuesday.

This is al-Zawahiri's first comment on the crisis since the war began eleven days ago.

In a transcript of the statement released by SITE, he calls the Israeli offensive a "Crusade against Islam and Muslims" and "Obama's gift to Israel" before he takes office.

Al-Zawahiri also calls Egypt's president, Hosni Mubarak, a "traitor" for keeping his borders closed to Palestinians.

What an ugly mugga fugga.

His eyes are nearly as recessed as the hole in the middle of his forehead.

You know your cause is righteous when Al Qaeda leadership has your back.....
I wonder if the protesters in Florida truly understand what side they are taking.

It would be the first time the Jews have embarked on a Crusade if that's the case.

Next thing you know the Sikhs and Hindus will be accused of somehow doing the same.

Every time a Muslim brings up the Crusades I have to laugh. Do they know their history beyond what is orally passed on at bedtime? UGH!

You know, the only truth I can see coming from a Crusades alarm is that it was the Muslims on the trade routes who agitated the situation in the first place. I guess there are some similarities.
As a Christian I do not condone all of the Crusades or how they were waged, but my goodness...the Muslims have their Saladin. Talk about disproportionate forces and trickery.

"he calls the Israeli offensive a "Crusade against Islam and Muslims"

He talks like a Crusade is a bad thing.

As RS says in his PIG book about the Crusades -

"The Crusades were not acts of unprovoked aggression by Europe against the Islamic world, but a delayed response to centuries of Muslim aggression."

Bravo Crusades. All Crusades.

Al-Zawahiri also calls Egypt's president, Hosni Mubarak, a "traitor" for keeping his borders closed to Palestinians.

A traitor to the Palis, yes. A traitor to the jihadist cause, that of stealing Jewish land, no.

Big, brave talk from the big, brave man with the big, brave hole in his head from his big, brave hidey-hole.

Like his Rick Moranis glasses.

Mr. Number 2 (how fitting) is a liar and a provocateur. He'll say anything to further Islam's agenda.

He calls the Israeli offensive a "Crusade against Islam and Muslims"

Hell ya'!... So do I. But the "Obama's gift to Israel" line shows how out of touch these hysterical self-righteous carpet munching muppets with $#!+ for brains, really are.

Darcy,
I feel the heat from your comment, in a good way.:)

Just to be clear; when I said I don't condone all of the Crusades, I was not speaking of the Christian/Islam Crusades. I was speaking of the more peripheral ones like the massacre of the Jews, for instance.
So called "Christian" history is not always so noble.

I completely agree with the guide!

Lets hope the coming crusade is not "a delayed response to centuries of Muslim aggression."

Rapid response is what I want to hear.

I hope this evil demon develops a giant hematoma on his pious forehead, assuming his prayer mark is not the result of carefully applied makeup. His support for Hamas speaks volumes but the world isn't listening and doesn't care. The children of Gaza must be saved so they can grow up, join Hamas, and continue the noble struggle.

Hamas does not care about dead children; they want dead children to enrage the worldwide ummah and to elicit support for their campaign to eradicate Israel. They use them as props in their macabre histrionics, violating their lifeless little bodies with callous disrespect and absolutely no remorse for their senseless, untimely deaths. The malevolent creatures in Hamas are among the most wicked people on earth and I hope Israel kills every last one of them.

Jeffrey Goldberg, who for a long time has reported on the Arab-Israeli war, and has been so careful to avoid the subject of Islam, and so cautiously neutral in his reportage that he has at times been taken to task at this website, finally can stand the nonsense and lies no longer, and lets loose in blog he does for "The Atlantic":

"Hamas terrorists unblinkingly and ostentatiously use their own civilians as human shields. I've seen this up-close, and it's repulsive. One story the media isn't telling, because it's impossible to get this story in these circumstances (especially because Israel stupidly won't allow foreign reporters into Gaza) is how much resentment the Hamas policy of using Palestinians as human shields causes among Gaza civilians. Early reports indicate that Hamas mortar teams were firing from the UN School. This shouldn't surprise anyone.

One more thing, speaking of pornography -- we've all seen endless pictures of dead Palestinian children now. It's a terrible, ghastly, horrible thing, the deaths of children, and for the parents it doesn't matter if they were killed by accident or by mistake. But ask yourselves this: Why are these pictures so omnipresent? I'll tell you why, again from firsthand, and repeated, experience: Hamas (and the Aksa Brigades, and Islamic Jihad, the whole bunch) prevents the burial, or even preparation of the bodies for burial, until the bodies are used as props in the Palestinian Passion Play. Once, in Khan Younis, I actually saw gunmen unwrap a shrouded body, carry it a hundred yards and position it atop a pile of rubble -- and then wait a half-hour until photographers showed. It was one of the more horrible things I've seen in my life. And it's typical of Hamas. If reporters would probe deeper, they'd learn the awful truth of Hamas. But Palestinian moral failings are not of great interest to many people."

Print that out. Send that around, to those who are fooled by Arab war propaganda, just as Hitler managed in 1938 to ascribe all sorts of trumped-up "atrocities" against the "Sudeteners" by the Czech police. Except that the Gazan Arabs, as Hezbollah in 2006, or the PLO in Beirut in 1982, all have much of the world press -- especially the vicious BBC -- hardly needing to be fooled, so eager is it to be, not so much pro-Arab, as malevolently anti-Israel.
